Dillingham Custom Floors Inc

1800 sq ft. of Hardwood flooring were installed by Tim Dillingham. He did an outstanding job. Tim installed the floor himself with a couple of helpers. He did not sub out the job to other people. Tim only installs the floor. We hired Richard Hicks to finish the floor. Finishing the floor cost us $4000.75 Which I think is outrageous. Tim's transitions to other rooms are expertly installed.

We had just bought a house and really wanted to get some new wood floors to replace the old carpet and vinyl kitchen before we moved in. Tim was most readily available and also gave us a very, very fair quote. He explained about how everything would go and after some consideration, we agreed to continue and get the work done. We were so glad we did! We ripped out the carpet and vinyl flooring on our own and also stained the shoe molding on our own to save some extra money. Tim came by a couple of days before starting the work to do a final walk through and make sure everything looked prepped and ready to go. He pointed out that we had half of the room in plywood and the other half in particleboard. The particleboard was no good under hardwood and needed to go. He lended me some tools and showed me exactly how to do it on my own as he was really busy and it would cost more to have him spend the extra time doing so. By the time he arrived to begin installation, there were still some remnants of particleboard leftover and we had also broken off the adjustable peg of the oven while moving it. He helped me move the oven and install the new peg, as well as help me move the refridgerator so I could finish removing the old vinyl out from underneath it. We gave Tim the keys and trusted him to come by and do what he needed. Within 3 days, all was done as expected. The rooms looked brand new. Everyone who has seen the before and after are simply amazed. Tim worked really hard and did a top quality job. We plan on using him again once we move forward with updating the rest of the home!

This gentleman is a gem!! He worked very hard and installed beautiful wood flooring, NOT laminate. Exceptional price for the work performed. We bought the wood he recommended and it came out fine. He stained the quarter round himself. All work was done quickly and well.
