Jonathan Sledge returned my initial call promptly and arranged a time to come to the house.. He showed up as scheduled, assessed my trees and gave an estimate. He also found some shrubs infested with insects and recommended a treatment. Due to lots of rain the work was delayed a little but was done in a timely manner. My trees looked great after pruning. They cleaned up all debris and removed the dead tree no mess left on the site. The work was not cheap but well worth it for the high quality.

The experience was excellent! He is really good to work with. He is very professional and dependable. I would highly recommend him!

Did a great job; everything was done right on time and looked great. Would definitely use their services again.

Came when he said he would, both to estimate the work and to perform the work. Was very knowledgeable about what should or could be done with the trees. Brought along a crew and a huge chipper, so the crew immediately dragged off branches and fed them into the shredder as Jonathon dropped them to the ground. When they were finished, they blew off the leaves and sawdust and left a pretty clean and much better looking landscape.

I like that they are arborist, and they are knowledgeable about what they do. They are very tidy and professional. I also appreciate how accommodating they were.

Of the several providers I contacted, the owner of Above Ground was the most responsive. He and his crew did great work and left the work areas clean. Professional, courteous, punctual, quality, and reasonably priced; what more could you ask for? Oh yeah, due to safety concern with the damaged tree near the driveway, the owner even moved us up in the schedule to take care of it sooner than later. Above Ground will remain on our preferred service proved list as long as we are here and they are in business... Thanks

It went exceptionally well. We have used them in the past to have trees taken down. He is very knowledagble. They do the job right including all the prep work. He came back to check on things. Our lawn looks like a golf course.

Jonathan and his crew worked very hard and did a beautiful job in our yard. Johnathan is a landscape expert and provided excellent advice and suggestions about our yard. His crew did a fantastic job installing a new rock bed and managed to match the stone in our other rock beds. They cleaned up all debris before leaving, and we were so pleased at how neat everything looked. They were very pleasant to work with and they even moved numerous heavy planters onto the new rock bed for us before they left. I really appreciated how knowledgeable, efficient, and courteous they were. Jonathan will return in the mid-March to fertilize and mulch our large oak trees and to spray our dogwood trees with a fungicide. We could not be more pleased with Jonathan and his crew. I recommend scheduling spring work early since such a fine company will be in great demand. Very well done, Jonathan and crew! See you in the spring!

I got several estimates. Mr Sledge was very professional and had the lowest estimate. One Leland that needed to be cut down was within 10' of the corner of my house and driveway. The other was in the yard away from my house, but close to my neighbor's yard and driveway. Both fell the way he wanted so as not to cause any damage to the driveway, house or my neighbor's property. They cleaned up everything very well. I was very satisfied with their work and will use them again if and when needed and would recommend them to anyone needing this type of work done.

Jonathan and his crew performed a number of pruning tasks on some of the large trees near our house, and ran a cable on one to help prevent possible future damage if a limb fell. He'd been out to provide me with an estimate on a number of tasks, and I "pruned" those down to about 4. I have no complaints, and am considering contacting Above Ground again for an estimate on some landscaping work.

Jonathan Sledge is an extremely knowledgeable individual. He came out and instructed me on what really needed to be done with my yard even knowing that he would not get any business out of his trip here. He also suggested the right person for the job who I am going to end up using to get my yard fixed. He was professional and courteous and if I ever need work done that requires his expertise then he will definitely get a call from me.

This is a repeat use of this company. Consulted the owner about the work, given a quote, and an approximate start date. Work was started within reason and completed on time and within the estimate. After 6 months 1 tree did not survive the winter and was replaced at no cost to us. We are very happy with the knowledge and quality of the work. We will definitely use them again if we have a need.
