BEEGLE LANDSCAPING & LAWN CARE

We have black walnut trees in our backyard and hired Beegle Landscaping to plant bushes that would grow in this difficult area. They told us arborvitae would grow in our yard, and so we hired them to do this work. Within several months the bushes died. They removed them and told us they were going to consult with someone at the extension office at Virginia Tech. After roughly three months they told us that he said there had been a watering problem and that was the reason the bushes died. When I asked if they guaranteed there work, I was told that they had done everything right and that we had access to the same information as they did regarding what would grow around black walnut trees. They offered to plant them again but we were told that we would have to pay for the bushes and they would supply the labor. We agreed to do this as we were told it was our fault that the bushes died. This time we followed their watering instructions exactly and all but two of the bushes died. They came out and removed the dead bushes but that's all they would do for us. We hired them assuming they had some sort of expertise in the landscaping business but we were obviously wrong. We will never do business with them again.

I have an annual contract that is about $3,500. I haven't shopped around but it seems to be fair. The staff is friendly and professional. They are very effective and do the work that is required.
