Excellent job. Expensive but worth it.

Overall. very good. This summer a very young employee is working for the company. He was prompt, thorough and fairly knowledgeable. I did have to have him return due to the equipment leaking after he had installed the pump. There was no additional charge and all was fine after that was corrected.

The guy I talked with felt coming to my house and making a bid is a waste of time because he assumed I would simply go with competition. He shared his hypothesis that all people want is a cheap pool and he admittedly cannot match competitor's price because his stuff is so superior. He ranted on and on without letting me interject a word. A hypothesis which cost him my business with regard to a pool. I knew I wanted a salt water, fiberglass, in ground pool. The other details could be worked out with a home visit. The guy I talked to insisted I come to the store and pick out exact pool and other items I wanted and then they could give me a price. He did not bother to learn this pool is for for my wife and she currently is ill and would prefer to have a home visit for this decision. I felt as though I was being treated as a hostile witness in a courtroom and not a potential customer. His nasty attitude did not convince me of a superior product or service. All I was asking for was a visit to my home to look at the location and help me make decisions. When he heard I was aiming at $40,000 he went ballistic. He then told me it would be closer to $65,000 . Since his competition, Valley Pool and Spa, was cordial and willing to come to my home and make a bid I will most likely go with them. When I mentioned $40,000 they did not yell at me. They have provided service for my HOT Tub for the past 13 years and have been friendly and reliable the entire time. What a shame as the Master Plumbing people from the same umbrella company provided excellent service to me and could not be nicer.

Part arrived and was installed sooner than estimated.

I discovered that the water level of our in-ground pool have decreased drastically overnight. I called customer service for the company that built our pool, but was told that it would be the next day before someone could come out. I remembered that Vailes was another company in our area and decided to call them. Not only was the customer service outstanding during my call, they had a technician out almost immediately. The technician was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. After approximately 15 minutes he discovered was a very easy problem to fix and informed me how to prevent this issue in the future. In the many years that we have owned our pool, we have never received such fast, courteous service. It is reassuring to know that Vailes is there to service our pool when needed. Thanks again.

Everything went just fine.

The entire project from planning to building to finishing was an example of first class service and skills. We received written details of every step of constructiontion including a schedule that took the project through to completion. Even though several workdays were lost due to winter storms, they completed the job right on schedule. The crew who built our pool room were talented, skilled, hardworking, and a pleasure to have in our home. It was particularly notable that the majority of the work was done by Vailes, with only the brick work contracted out. After service is excellent. Every Vailes employee is courteous, thoroughly answers questions, and is available to help with the smallest concern. It was a pleasure to work with Vailes and I highly recommmend them.
