Description of Work: Complete remodel of master bathroom. Demolition down to studs, removed and replaced old tile flooring with in floor heating/tile, replaced glassed in shower with open walk-in no curb shower area, new granite countertops, new mirrors, vanity lighting, new cabinets with LED under cabinet floor lighting, replaced Jacuzzi with small slipper-shaped soaking tub and chandelier, repainted walls, ceiling, new wood trim. All new fixtures throughout. Tile work was perfect and beautifully done.

Description of Work: Technician performed the semi-annual H/VAC maintenance without incident. Maintenance was succesfully performed on a separate gas furnace. The technician called before arrival, as promised. He arrived at the beginning of the two hour arrival window. Vailes has highly skilled, reliable employees. It is a first rate company that you can count on to do the job right!

Description of Work: Called & requested these folks to come out & give estimate on replacing our heating system. Set an appt with us 6 weeks out, said they had no eve appts any sooner than that. I have never had anyone tell me they could not give an estimate for 6 weeks. Either these folks really have that much work or they really don't want much work. We are very interested in a Trane system. We have given the work to Augusta Mechanical. We will provide a review after the work is complete.

Description of Work: We have used Vailes in the past for several small jobs and have always been very pleased with their work. Most recently, we hired them to correct problems which arose from two bathroom renovations done by E&E Plumbing. They had to tear out our marble shower floor to re-install the floor liner as it had been improperly installed by E&E (see my review on E&E). In addition, they had to tear out our plaster ceiling in our front hall (which is just below the shower area because of major water damange done from the leak)and repair the ceiling and paint. They did a beautiful job. They are not cheap but you get what you pay for!

Description of Work: Installed two trone heat pumps and air handlers.

Description of Work: Electrical technician did a complete change of service and upgraded 100 amp service to 200 amp service. Tech procurred bldg permit and coordinated with Dominion Power. He installed a new mast and new service from meter to inside box. Many of the outlets were not grounded and this was corrected within the main circuit breaker box. His work was excellent. He completed the project in a timely fashion, had the work inspected, and had Dominion Power restore service by early afternoon. He was patient with my questions and fully answered them until I understood what was actually taking place. I was very impressed with Dean's work. The work inside the breaker box was neat with all wires properly twisted and 90 degree turns into connectors. I could have had this work done for less cost but I wasn't nearly as comfortable with the level of service provided by others some of which actually said we didn't need to get a permit. When he left the site there was nothing to clean up or go behind. I will have Dean of Vailes TC Electric do any electrical work I will have done in the future.

Description of Work: I requested and received an estimate from this company. The presentation of the quote was very professional and well prepared but even after reducing the scope of work I could not afford their price.
