The crew arrived early the first morning to rip out the old units and install new ductwork as the new furnace was to be placed in the roof space. The old one was in the living room and was horribly noisy. They were gone by 5 pm and left everything clean and tidy. Next day they were back to install all the new stuff, they got it all in, tested and working by the end of the day. Again, they left our house spotless. There was only one little glitch, after about a week the furnace shut down. Made a phone call to the office and a guy was with us in less than two hours. Turned out that a drain had been fitted upside down. It was fixed straight away with apologies and all has been well ever since. All round I am well satisfied with the installation and service.

Initial visit it was felt that the circuit board on the PTAC unit was bad, so a new part was ordered. I called the office on 11/2 to inquire when I might expect my PTAC (heat and AC unit) to be fixed as I had not heard back from them. I was told the part had arrived and we scheduled a follow up appt for this morning. The part ordered turned out not to be necessary as the more experienced electrician who came today found the circuit board was fine, rather it was two totally different reasons for the problem that he was able to fix without a wait. So essentially I waited for two and a half weeks without heat in my family room addition for nothing which is unfortunate. I have used Putney for several electrical and plumbing issues in the past and they have always been very responsive and reliable. Their pricing is probably a little higher than some other local companies but not by much and overall I am satisfied with their services.
