Wonderful! There was no charge for an estimate and the owner explained their minimum job cost and the county permit fee. The technician came out about an hour after I spoke to the owner and he estimated the job, including materials, would easily be done for their minimum charge. They took over and started the process rolling by applying for the permit and scheduling a date for installation. My stove was delivered early, so their technician was able to come a day earlier than my original date. Everything was done quickly and professionally, and best of all, at almost $2000 LESS than my first estimate by another company. We are thrilled by the job they did and will recommend them to everyone. First class operation!

It went great! It took them one day to do what I expected to be a two-day job. They were very clean, professional, and prompt.

Manufacturer took a long time to get the product to them, but Linda was very good at bugging them to get the log set to us. Installation was easy and painless. They were very professional, pleasant and friendly. They explained every detail and made sure we knew how to operate the new system. They also helped us get the thing inspected by the county.

The company came out the night I called them. Brent came out and spent 90 minutes doing measurements and evaluations. They gave a proposal for installation. They came a week later to do the installation. The quality of the work that Brent did was fantastic. This includes running piping for both water and the gas lines. Plus, they're very unobtrusive. I'm very pleased with the professionalism of his work. Linda in the office was also very helpful and very responsive to me. She gave us documentation on rebates and tax credits from the gas company for their installation of the meters for the high efficiency tankless water heater. It was overall just a first rate experience with Linda in the office and Brent on site.

We obviously wanted the heater installed ASAP. There are five of us in the house, including two children aged 3 and 1. Linda informed us that they had four other emergency installs scheduled that week, but would try to work us in. We were not optimistic, but Linda called us Monday morning to let us know another customer agreed to reschedule and they could install our heater on Wednesday between 8-10. At 9:30 Brent called to say they had gotten held up with an inspector and we're running late but we're on their way. They showed up and had everything done and cleaned up in a little over 4 hours. They were so professional, clean, and clearly experts at what they do. I would recommend them to anyone wanting a tankless heater. Brent even stayed to make sure that all our faucets were pushin hot water. We had a problem with our master bath not getting hot enough. Brent explained exactly what the problem was with he cartridge in the faucet and my husband was able to fix it with no problem. Now we're all showering in hot water and we never run out!

If I could give Tankless Concepts/Fireside Specialties ten stars I would!! We were under pressure to install two gas inserts in our two old fireplaces before Labor Day. This involved running gas lines, getting electrical work done, placing the inserts and liners, having two inspections and then finally placing the fronts on the fireplaces. It also involved model selection and multiple measurements to insure they would fit. Ed set up our gas conversion and watched over the project. Linda, bless her, set up and coordinated a flawless schedule that accomplished all of this in a four day period. I could not have been more impressed! The actual installation of the gas inserts and liners was done by Rooftop Chimney Sweeps who also did a fantastic job. Ten stars to them as well. I recommend both businesses without reservation…they will take wonderful care of you. Thank you Ed and Linda!

I have been using their services for 4 years. It went very well. He knows what he is doing and he does what he is supposed to do. I trusted him to do it. There was no problem at all. It's a good company. I would tell others not to hesitate to go with them. When it comes to price, I don't have anything to compare it with. It was worth it.

I'm a DIY engineering-educated type of person, but running a long gas line and learning everything about Tankless water heaters was getting complicated - time to call the pros. I got three estimates. Rod, amazing Rinnai-recommended and certified tankless water heater installer accurately estimated and then verified all gas line and water calculations. Tankless was not the cheapest, but easily demonstrated they had the most experience and got the job done right the first time. I've had 0 issues. We just have endless hotwater and lower bills. Rod ran the gas and water lines in a way that was considerate of future expansion plans for additional faucets and gas appliances that we might install in the future. Tankless worked with Washington Gas to update the meter and worked with the inspector to make sure everything was to code. No more cold showers, carbon monoxide, wasted energy, risk of broken water tanks: 8/2014: 14.5 therms (2 adults, one kid) 8/2015: 15.6 therms (2 adults, one baby) 8/2016: 9.3 therms (2 adults, one kid, one toddler) Rod is SUCH a legendary installer that when I mentioned his name to the Washington Gas technician who upgraded the meter, the technician knew Rod by name and even came back to say hi on the day of the installation. He spoke as if ROD was the best tankless water heater installer ever - it's probably true. Additionally, Tankless, the company, was excellent and helped my secure three seperate rebate/discounts. If you need a Tankless Water heater, I strongly recommend Tankless Concepts. If you don't get a live person when you call the first time (like me), just leave a message! The first time I called I didn't get a live person and moved on to the next company I had in my priority list - but I should have left a message the first time.

If you're thinking about a tankless water heater, this is the company for you. Not only do they know their stuff, they care about their customers and also try not to oversell you things you may not need. In short, without a slightest reservation, I highly recommend this company. Yes, the tankless water heater and initial installation will cost you more. However, if you're planning live at your home for awhile, you shouldn't hesitate. You get a tax credit, you save money on utilities, and the tank will last you 2-3 times longer, if properly maintained. So in essence, you save more by investing a little more upfront (with inflation and possible opportunity costs, if you're into economics). The appointment for a quote was straight forward, and pretty fast. I wanted to spend more money by getting the most expensive unit, instead of one they proposed, but I was talked out of it. They took the time to explain everyone and made sure I got what I needed . In sure, spending more money was not going to improve what was already being offer by much. Like anyone else would be, I greatly appreciated their honesty. They also tried to work with me as fast as they can, but the company and I were at the mercy of the gas company. As soon as the gas company gave an appointment to upgrade the gas meter at the house, the installation was handled on the same day. The installation was straight forward. It took all day because there were lot of things to do, but it went by fast because I took couple naps in front of the television while the installation of going on. That said, without even being prompted, the technician went over and beyond. He move some pipes to make things more visually pleasing, but also more functional. The area where the tank was installed looked much better than what was expected. After the installation, the technician tested everything and made sure to explain the functions of the unit before he left. The company also followed with the final invoice, copy of the permit, and tips on how to use the unit. They also included a nice letter of thanks, a rarity these days.

I was very favorably impressed by the service. I left a message at about 9:30 in the morning to report the problem, received a callback at noon to let us know that a technician might be able to get to us before 3:00 that afternoon. At about 3:00, we received a call that the job he was on had taken too long for him to reach us, but that he could either come at 4:00 or on the following Monday, our choice. We opted for that afternoon, and he arrived promptly at 4:00, went immediately to work, and finished by a little after 5:00. The technician was very professional and very pleasant, explaining to me exactly what he was doing as he proceeded to analyze and fix the problem and then do a general maintenance checkup on the unit. We will certainly hire this firm for regular maintenance and would hire it to replace the unit if we decided we wanted another tankless water heater.

I have been researching swapping out my classic Water Heater Tank with a tankless unit for almost 5 years. The team at Tankless was first rate, patiently provided tons of information, was incredibly responsive, and even coordinated the installation of a new Gas meter and regulator to supply high pressure gas. This morning's shower was Hot and Plentiful, thanks again, to Linda, Ed, and Brett.

Everything went well...Brent did a wonderful job. Now we never run out of hot water and the water in our master bath warms in a minute instead of three minutes. We had a 50 gallon tank on the 4th level of our town home...a disaster waiting to happen. I love my Tankless water heater.

After reviewing a bunch of company profiles we had three companies come out to give us estimates on tankless water heaters. We had done our own research for a bit on the pros and cons and decided it was worth the cost to replace our 20 year old tank water heater before it became an emergency with 3 inches of water in our basement. Ed Clark came out to give us the initial estimate and he was great! He answered every question we had, answered some questions we didn't even think of and helped us select the right unit for our home and needs. The estimate was clear and while not far from the others, it was a better deal overall and we felt very comfortable with our choice. Our installer, Brent Talley, was great too. He did a meticulous job and cleaned up the site very well. He even swept the stairs from the basement where some gunk from the old water heater had fallen. The heater worked great from day one and we're very happy with it. When the county inspector came out, he and I both thought we smelled a little gas, he inspected every joint very carefully but couldn't find any issue. A while passed and I went down to the basement and found that it smelled of gas again, I sprayed the area with a little windex and sure enough, there seemed to be a teeny-tiny leak somewhere. I emailed Tankless very late (like 10pm) thinking I'd follow up with a call in the morning and Brent was at my door at 7:30 that morning. We found that it was actually a tiny pin-p**** hole in the casted cap, not a joint or seal. He replaced the cap in just a few minutes and now all is well again. Excellent product, excellent service, and very professional and helpful. I would definitely recommend Tankless Concepts to anyone considering a tankless water heater. Great folks!

Rod truly saved the day. From the moment he walked through the door it seemed he knew he would be able to fix my tankless issues. After being out of hot water for a few days I really appreciate his honesty and professionalism. Instead of looking to get as much money as he could out of the situation he started by trying to fix my unit instead of assuming I needed a new one. Rod did what none of the other three companies who came in did; he looked at the existing venting, water, gas, and took off the front cover of the tank.All of the other companies priced the work as if they were starting from scratch and installing and venting a whole new system. Everyone else told me my unit was fit for the trash. This company knows what they are doing with Tankless water heaters. Tankless Concepts isn't a plumbing company that dabbles in tankless water heaters. They don't try to sell you on bunch of things you don't need to get you spend more money. I will never consider working with another company when it comes to my tankless. I will forever recommend this company to anyone thinking about getting a tankless unit.

Brent was great. He quickly ascertained that it was not feasible (especially economically) to pursue the gas lines. I was disappointed that I would not be able to have a gas stove, but very grateful that Brent was so thorough in his analysis. Brent was recommended to us by Mike from Nova Green Energy, who said that Brent was one of the best gas experts in our area - I would completely agree. Go to Brent if you have a gas issue.

Linda from Tankless Concepts was extremely responsive and scheduled an estimate with Brent (who also performed the installation) within 2 days of the request. The estimate was more competitive than the one I received from Michael & Son. On the day of the installation, Brent explained everything he was doing, and after about 7 hours, spent a lot of time explaining the entire install and operation. We are pleased with the performance of the system and the professionalism of the entire experience.

They came out and inspected the job and work area for the estimate. I was provided an estimate two days later and scheduled the job. The crew came out and did a perfect job. They all were professional and respectful of our house cleaning up nicely. When the job was finished the tech took all the time i needed to explain in detail everything i needed to know about the new system.

Heard from someone at the company who indicated an estimate to evaluate our needs for a system. I wrote that it wasn't what we needed as we had a system but needed some expertise. Another conversation with my spouse he was told that they only want to install the two brands they sell. I think a company should be interested in any customer who requires assistance. We were willing to pay for the service. Very disappointed in this encounter. There was no service provided at our address.

The installer was professional, highly qualified and did a great job!!! The system is performing flawlessly and we can now have our visiting friends and families shower in all four bathrooms non-stop and not worry about running out of hot water. Thank you for a job well done.

Technician came out first to look at our basement to make sure installation was possible. He gave clear and detailed information on all aspects of the unit and the work involved. Linda was extremely helpful at every step of the process. Installation was quick and clean and technician further explained how to use the water heater when he was done. Great company. Recommend with no reservations whatsoever!

Ed did the service. He also was the man who came to visit and talk about tankless water heaters with us over 2 years ago. The company does what it says, when it says, and with a level of professionalism and courtesy that is hard to beat. A tankless water heater is the way to go. Tankless Concepts is the company to work with, without reservation.

I called Tankless Concepts for an estimate. Service man Brent arrived on time and was very professional. He provided estimate the same day and was able to start the install within 2 days. I was very happy with overall experience.

I had excellent experience with them. They did a good job. I definitely would recommend them to anyone. They were very professional, punctual, and it was all around a good experience. They did excellent work & cleaned up well after! I was very pleased.

The rep from Tankless Concepts was on-time and professional about his services. I worked with Linda over email to coordinate the effort and she was easy to reach and provided detailed responses to my questions. They provided options for us but did not try to push any of the options. We had a timeframe that we wanted the services done by and they met that time even given a few issues - 1). The service guy work around in the ceiling and quickly resolved t. This required him to run to Home Depot and build a ceiling bump out. 2). The gas inspector came to check the work performed but the Tankless Rep called to let the inspector know that he was stuck in morning traffic and would only be 10 or so minutes late however the gas inspector would not wait. This delayed the quality check but they were able to still fit the completion of the water heater installion in our timeline. They provided a water quality testing for free and gave us solutions to the results of the water quality test however did not push any of the solutions on us. We were happy with the service and professionalism that Tankless Concepts provided.

Never again. I realize the expense is high but our comfort is worth every penny. The men who arranged for the install and performed the install were very clean and courteous and made all the arrangements for the gas company to upgrade the service. I love my new system.
