Description of Work: My water heater broke on a Sunday. I called them on Monday and they came out that afternoon to plan for installing a Rinnai unit. I approved the job on Tuesday. They started the job on Wednesday and wrapped up around 3pm. They are a well-run operation and we are enjoy our hot water.

Description of Work: We had our gas hot water heater removed, and replaced with a tankless unit. They also had to run a new exterior vent. They were very professional, and seem to know exactly what they were doing. A couple of times before we signed the contract my husband called with a few questions, and the help at the office was very professional and helpful as well. Seems like a well run company. No complaints.

Description of Work: Tankless hot water heater needed service. First visit by tankless the technician thoroughly explained what he was doing and provided a bunch of information regarding my heating system. Ran through several system checks and made some adjustments to correct problem. Unfortunately, the problem came up again and this time same technician flushed system after talking with heater vendor and this fixed it. Alright with two visits because this means they tried with the minimal cost approach which as a consumer appreciate. The final fix was still cheap in comparison to what other companies may have charged. Tankless customer service is above reproach. They contacted me to work around my schedule and was always courteous and professional. Grade A company

+ -1 moreTankless Concepts specializes in Rinnai tankless water heaters. We had a Rinnai installed in our basement 4 years ago by another contractor and love the device. Unfortunately, our experience with the other contractor was horrible, so when the unit began leaking the week before Christmas, I needed a new plumber. Ed Clark, the owner, came to the house to assess the unit, and said that there were a handful of parts that needed to be replaced, and that there needed to be modifications made to the flue and to the gas service. He ordered the parts, and contacted the gas company to upgrade our gas service. I was skeptical of his assessment of the installation issues so I called Rinnai and spoke with a technician, who was very helpful and ultimately convinced me that the recommendations were not unreasonable. Unfortunately the unit became highly unreliable on Christmas Day, to the point that we had no hot water. Because he had told me to call if the hot water died, I contacted him on Christmas Day. He said he would try to have someone come out on Saturday (two days after Christmas). The technician called Saturday and couldn't come because his wife and children were sick. I couldn't blame him, but it was sure a bummer for us. Anyway, the gas company came to upgrade the service on Monday. Mr. Clark directed them by phone as to the particularities of the service upgrade, and his tech came Monday, too to complete the work. All told, it ran us almost $900, which would have been higher if the expensive parts hadn't been under warranty. The work looks to be of high quality, and our water heater is working fine again. I plan to continue using Tankless Concepts to do annual service and maintenance for my Rinnai.
Description of Work: Leaking Rinnai hot water heater. They replaced the heat exchanger, the exhaust fan, and the gas valve. Additionally, they corrected installation problems with the flue and upgraded the gas service for the unit.

+ -1 moreI called them because my 5 year old Rinnai tankless water heater was not working and they are one of the very few Rinnai tankless water heater dealers certified to do repairs. They systematically worked through the possible problems until finding and providing a temporary fix for the problem (bad solenoid valves in plumbing not in the water heater itself). The provided a clear description of the alternatives between correcting the poor installation of my outdoor tankless water heater versus replacing it with an indoor tankless water heater. Once I decided on the replacement option, they returned within a week and installed the new heater in a single day. It's the cleanest plumbing installation I've ever seen.
