Sparkle Drain Cleaning

I have used them before. I had already had someone else out here and they could not find the problem. It took two people, they diagnosed the problem and they cleaned the drain. They put the roto-rooter thing through the vent. They are prompt, very fair with the price and they are people who are not going to s***w me. It happens so often as a women that other vendors take advantage of me, but they don't do that.

Great job with experienced staff. Came on schedule and completed job quickly.

The gentlemen that came were very professional and did an excellent job. My only complaint was the price. I paid $225 for the service--having just one drain unclogged. Later when I checked the Angie's List website I saw multiple drain cleaning services for up to $50 less than I paid. Since I am not experienced in what this service should cost, I did not know what was fair. I should have done more research and also asked the Sparkle drain service people what they were going to charge before I decided to have them come out. They did not offer that information on the phone, and I forgot to ask. I will do my homework next time. Except for the price, they were excellent. Dian thomas

Our sink backed up and after unsuccessfully attempting to snake it ourselves with a 25 foot drain snake, we called Sparkle Drain Cleaning. They were excellent on all levels! I called at 9:00 in the morning, and the plumber said he could be at our place in an hour. I asked if he could maybe come after 12:30--and he was completely accommodating, asking me to give him a call when I got back home. I called at 12:15 and two plumbers were at my door in 15 minutes. The quickly accessed the problem and proceeded to snake the drain with their heavy-duty equipment. After a few minutes of that, they realized the most effective way to deal with the clogged pipes was to snake it from the roof. They quickly pulled out a ladder, carried the snaking machine onto the roof and snaked the pipe from the roof vent pipe. My kitchen drain has never been better! The water actually made a loud sucking sound and you could see a strong whirlpool as the water drained. I was so happy! In the past, we had used a different plumber (who also gets excellent reviews on Angie's List). We used them several times, but then I had a bad experience with them, so tried Sparkle. I now realize how unprofessional the other plumbers were--and how their concern was providing a quick and easy fix. The other plumber would ask me for rags and buckets to use when he snaked the drain from below the sink. He never went up to look at the roof, though I had asked if he thought there could be a problem with the vent pipe. They also left a huge mess after their last job with me. Sparkle brought their own buckets, rags, etc. Though snaking the pipe from below the sink might have helped, they knew that the most effective method would be snaking from the roof--so they did it without hesitation. They cleaned up after themselves. And they charged me $60 less than the other plumbers did.

My kitchen sink was backing up into the basement laundry tub. I called Sparkle Drain Cleaning. They offered to come the same day I called, but I was not available. They said they could fit me in the next day and would call to give a half hour notice. They called and was here within the half hour. They snaked out the drain from the roof. They were professional,quick and very friendly. Any questions I asked were answered. I would definitely use this company again. I feel I was treated in a fair and honest way.

I can't say enough good things about Sparkle Drain Cleaning. They went above and beyond my expectations for taking care of the drain issues I had. They also made a couple of practical suggestions for how to avoid any future issues. They came in a timely manner on a Saturday and didn't charge anything extra for a Saturday visit. I highly recommend Sparkle Drain Cleaning.

Excellent -- could not have been better, faster or cheaper! I called another plumbing company who wanted to charge me for an emergency call (apparently if they come the same day, even during normal business hours, they consider it an "emergency" and charge accordingly). Sparkle was just the opposite. I called them at 8 am, spoke to Larry Williams and he was able to get here by 11 am, and fixed things promptly. They were very professional and the price was reasonable.

Called mid-afternoon requesting same day appointment to clear a clogged drain. Many other could not accommodate until Monday but Sparkle was able to come after another job finished. Called when free and enroute. Arrived a short time later. Both workers were professional and courteous. Assessed problem, brought in snake, 15 mins later the drain was clear. Offered some advice and a referral as this was third time with this drain. All in all a pleasant experience and price seemed reasonable considering short notice and day before a holiday/weekend.

Didn't expect next day service but was pleased to get it. He showed up at exactly the promised time and came out and did the job in about an hour. Since he was here we had him clean another exterior drain, which wasn't the reason for the call but it needed a cleaning. He also offered advice on what to do to prevent future problems.

I am SO happy that I found Sparkle Drain Cleaning! I called them in the middle of the night, on a holiday no less, and they arrived within hours. These guys are real experts --- the unique SPECIALISTS in this field. They do drain cleaning and ONLY drain cleaning; so they knew exactly how to solve our problem. And because they keep their skills within this one category, they can keep their prices VERY reasonable!

I have a utility room floor drain that was discharging material from the disposal and dishwasher in the adjoining kitchen. I called Sparkle Drain Cleaning about mid-morning on a Friday, and Larry and Anthony arrived approximately three hours later. It took them about 45 minutes to snake out the clogged line. They were very professional and obviously knew what they were doing. I considered the $235 charge to be entirely reasonable. I would definitely use them again.

They said they would come over after finishing with their current customer. That job took longer than expected but they still came and resolved our drain problem - even though it was late in the day. I really appreciated the fact that they came through as promised and didn't push us to the next morning.

They were booked solid when I called, but when I explained my situation, they found time to come by and could not have been more helpful. The price was extremely reasonable. Highly recommend them.

Very responsive, on-time, professional, and thorough. They do excellent work. They also held to their original estimate even though the work took longer than anticipated.

They were professional, neat, clean, courteous and relatively quick about it. They also were quick to respond to our request and cheaper than any other quote we got. Would not hesitate to call them again.

The drain outside our basement door backed up after a storm. It eventually drained, but we figured we'd better have it looked at. We called Larry on July 3, and he and his helper came out on July 4, even though this wasn't an emergency situation. He fixed the drain and explained how we can avoid problems in the future. Larry himself is a treat--a really old-school guy with a great sense of humor, and someone who knows his stuff.

I called Sparkle Drain with the intent to have them snake our drain as they had a few years ago. Larry expressed concern about snaking the sewer line so soon again, and recommended we instead camera the line to see exactly what was going on. They were able to come out the next day and shed light on exactly what was going on with our sewer line. The camera clearly showed broken pipe just under our foundation as well as gaping pipe further out into our yard. Larry explained what would eventually happen should both issues go unaddressed. He also explained that while we could go ahead and snake the pipe to get rid of some of the root infiltration, it would likely cause a backup later as the snake would bring some of the roots back into the line. Larry was honest and forthcoming in his appraisal and kindly recommended Syd's Plumbing should I decide to replace the sewer line pipe. I highly recommend Sparkle Drain.

He came quickly after a bit of a gruff answer to my initial phone call. We used Larry several years ago: he's a character -- old-school, shoots from the hip. Could use a bit of professional refining, but he got the job done quickly, and so far things are running fine.

The drain overflowed Easter weekend! We called Larry and he was to our home within a hour. Due to our home being built in the 1930s, the drain was not accessible from where it was overflowing...we needed a plumber to come and put in a new pipe that can be assessed from the yard. Larry called Syd, the plumber, and now it is Easter morning. Syd called us while we were in church and told us he would be at our home at 7am the next day... Syd and his crew arrived promptly, put in a new drain pipe, Larry come by when the plumbing work was completely and cleared the drain to over 50 foot.. YES, I would hire both Larry of Sparkle Drain and Syd the plumber again.

Sparkle was able to come about an hour after I called. They were professional, friendly (including to my dog), and, although it turned out to be a tougher job than we expected, they stuck with it and got my drain cleared without having to do any major plumbing.

Main drain stoppage was cleared quickly at a very reasonable price. The service was completed within three hours from placing the service call to completion.

The drain in my laundry had been backing up for years, off and on. I was tired of mopping up whenever it did this. I phoned Sparkle Drain Cleaning to get an estimate and the owner said he had just finished a job in the area and could come right over. He said he would not charge me a penny for an estimate. He and his partner knew exactly what was wrong and cleaned out the drain within 15 - 20 minutes. It has worked like a charm.

I called at 9AM and spoke to Larry - they were at my house before 11AM. Larry and his assistant were courteous, pleasant and got the job done in less thanhalf and hour, using a big electric snake.

It was the first time I had used them. The clog was beyond 50ft which most companies won't do. They initially said they don't service my area, but once I told them our situation, they made an exception and came right out. They really saved the day.
