Sparkle Drain Cleaning

Very well. Everything is once again functioning as it should be. Very happy that the price was reasonable since it is an old house and a rather narrow drain.

I left a telephone message Sunday evening and got a call back at 8am Monday. They said they would arrive early afternoon and would call first, they called 15 minutes before arriving around 3pm. Cleared the drain with no problems and no mess. Excellent service, highly recommended.

The firm representative, Larry, arrived two hours after we had called, and called in the meantime to say he would arrive within 20 minutes. One drain, in particular, had been a problem for more than a year; we had a plumber look at it (before joining Angie's) and we were able to snake it once ourselves. This completely clogged drain presented somewhat of a challenge for Larry. His electric-powered snake was going "up the vent" rather than down the main drain in the wall. With help from son Joe it was finally opened. Larry opened the second bathroom drain in a matter of minutes. We felt very comfortable having Larry and Joe in our home. They also proved tips on a plumbing problem and if I'm unable to solve it myself, Larry called back later, as promised, with the name and phone number of a plumber (on Angie's List).

I don't remember the cost. We were very satisfied with his work. He was responsive to our phone call. He came at the scheduled time he said he would.

They told me over the phone they don't normally unclog toilets, but they kindly stopped by. Larry was extremely quick, tidy, professional, friendly and informative.

We had tried to snake the drain ourselves but were not successful, called around for estimates from emergency drain cleaners and found them very expensive. We found Sparkle via Angie's list and called them. Fred and his son arrived as scheduled later the same day, snaked the drain several times while telling us some do and don't related to our drain, and when they were sure it was clear, they left - leaving a 90 guarantee and a hundred dollars in our pockets - the price difference between Sparkle and a well known national drain cleaning service.

On two occasions our basement drain backed up. Both times I was able to open the drain, however professional attention was clearly needed. I selected Sparkle from references on Angie's List and called them on a Friday and was told that they come on Saturday. When they arrived we collectively tried to force the drain to back up again. They were able to determine approximately where in the system the issue was and proceeded to snake and rinse the drain. Total time spent was approximately 1 hour. Two gentlemen were on the team that came; both were friendly and professional.

The bathtub drain had been slow for quite some time (more than six months), usually resulting in an inch to an inch and a half of water in the tub after a shower. The sink drain problem was more recent. I had tried both industrial (drain cleaners or different types) and home (baking soda, vinegar) remedies to no avail. The guy came in and had them both operating like new in a relatively short period of time. For both drains he showed me the issue (for the bathtub is was a huge clump of hair, for the sink it was a kid-proof feature that I had long ago forgotten about) and gave me advice as to how to avoid the problem in the future.

They arrived and evaluated the situation. We have an old craftsman style bungalow house, and figuring out the path and distance of the main drain to the sewer was difficult, but they did it. They then snaked the drain and were able to clear the blockage in under an hour.

It went good. They came out when they said they would. They took precautions not get get the floor dirty and they took the time to explain what they were doing and the possible problems we could have with our sewer line.

Referred by a smaller plumber that didn't specialize in drains. I had a completely clogged bathtub drain, and, despite several attempts by both myself and the plumber who referred Sparkle, I was still left with a clogged drain. I contacted Sparkle late in the day by email and expected them to get back to me the next day. When I got home, I decided to give it one more try on my own. It was about 7:00 in the evening, and, while I was getting the drain opened, I missed a return call from Sparkle. After unclogging the drain, I called them back and they answered! Well after normal business hours, the man that called was friendly and professional, and congratulated me on getting the problem fixed on my own. He asked a few questions to find out if I had done it correctly, and confirmed that my approach was right. After a nice friendly conversation, he offered Sparkle's services if I need them in the future, and I would jump at the opportunity. Despite not requiring their services at the end, their professional and friendly attitude have convinced me to put them on my short list.

Very friendly and prompt. Drain now works great and he said if I had any problems within the next couple of weeks to call and he would fix free of charge.

They came on time and worked in a timely fashion. They were knowledgeable and very professional. They cleaned the drain and were gone. They did a good clean up job.

They came and the service was excellent, and I will definitely use them again. They showed up on time to do the work. They didn't promise anything they couldn't deliver, and the guy went out of his way to make sure I had service that day.

Very easy and pleasant experience... if that's possible for a stuck drain.

They came out right away after I called them. They called before they came and they arrived promptly. He got right to work when he got here. He cleaned up very well and didn't leave a mess. I was very happy with their service.

I made an appointment several days in advance. The woman on the phone was very polite. On the day of the scheduled service, the plumber called about 9:00 to say that he would arrive in about 30 minutes. He arrived on schedule. He was calm and friendly when our dog ran out past me to greet him. I showed him the problem bathroom. He asked to be shown the floor below that bathroom and the other drains. He asked some questions and got to work. After starting, he asked if the tub was original. He explained why he thought it had been previously been just a shower. He explained why the difference in plumbing between shower and bath might cause an issue. He continued to work on it. He frequently checked the floor below to make sure he there were no further leaks. I told him that another bath had trouble, but was working fine now. He checked it and said it was fine. He could have told me that it needed to be cleaned also and I would not have known the difference. I was very comfortable having this representative in my house.

They came on time, cleaned up after themselves and I don't think it took very long for them to do it. He went around and made sure that everything worked and drained properly.

This company specializes in difficult drain cleaning. Same day service. Quick response to voice mail. After methodically checking the easy solutions for unstopping my toilet, he removed the fixture, pulled out the proper tool to chop and remove some roots that were clogging the pipe farther down, and replaced everything nice and neat.

Called before. Arrived promptly. Treated me with respect and explained things. Answered my questions.

Joe was clean, neat, respectful, took his shoes off, cleaned two drains for the promised price. He educated me on how to maintain my drains. I would definitely recommend and use this company in the future.

I contacted Sparkle Drain Cleaning and spoke with Debbie. She was very helpful and informative. She had Larry the repair man contact me directly to discuss what they could do. Larry called me back promptly and happen to be in the area. He arrived shortly thereafter and reviewed the situation. He used a hand auger and that resolved the problem. He also provided some suggestions to help prevent the problem.

We called them and they were out about 2 hours later that same day. It was incredible service. They did exactly what they said they were going to do and cleaned up before they left. The price was exactly what they quoted us. They were very particular about cleaning the place up too.

Sparkle was prompt. They were at my house within 1 hour of my call. Larry snaked the drain and was finished within 1/2 an hour from arriving at the house.

Sparkle showed up on time, performed the work effectively and charged the agreed upon price.
