Description of Work: Sparkle was responsive, prompt, and efficient in snaking kitchen drain. They also discovered other plumbing issues and leaks that require attention from plumbers and provided recommendations (they do not do plumbing, per se).

Description of Work: We live in an older home with the original 1960's plumbing. It occassionally get clogged up and we need to have it snaked out, approximately every 4-5 years, so we are familiar with what is involved and a general idea of how much it should cost. We had contacted several plumbers and gotten unbelievable estimates, and then we called Sparkle. They listened to our description of the problem, knew exactly what to look for and to our surprise suggested tackling it from the roof instead of inside the house. That was a new one on us. It worked just like they said it would and we haven't had any problems (at least for the nexxt 4-5 years!). They were responsive, professional, courteous and quick. We would absolutely use them again.

Description of Work: problem with a plugged kitchen line... checked all the other drains in house and then rooted out the plugged line. Very helpful and did a good job.

Description of Work: This is the second time we have used Sparkle Drain Cleaning, and I am so impressed with the way they come to your house and get the job done.

Description of Work: Company came to look at backed up drain that had flooded my client's basement with 2 inches of sewage. Responded quickly on a Friday ( I guessed the date above) and told me that I had a strange main drain situation and that he called his plumber in because his plumber was available. Sparkle charged me $150 to come out, never even snaked the pipe before he told me that the pump was bad. He called his own plumber to replace the pump, without ever calling me to ask me what to do. His plumber replaced the pump but I was called back by the client within 3 months that they had ANOTHER BACK UP! So I called Sparkle, expecting that they would stand behind their work. What I got was more than surprising, the guy from Sparkle Drain Cleaning started yelling at the top of his lungs. In disbelief, I tried to reason with him that these people had small children in their house and that we had to do something; he ranted for 15 more minutes, cursing and telling me that it was all my fault! I felt like I was back in middle school - and I am not going there again. GOOD BY SPARKLE!!!

Description of Work: Had a floor drain that was backing up. Called Sparkle at 7:00 PM on a Friday evening. Surprised to get an answer and they readily agreed to come the next day (Saturday). Were there at the appointed time. Very informative during our conversation. He snaked out the line, cleared the drain. The charge seemed high, but all services type jobs in this area seem high to me - nevertheless it was not exorbitant by any means and there was no additional charge for Saturday (no overtime charge was made). Just from the fact they were available to take my at at 7:00 PM and came out on Saturday earns them kudos. Larry (the tech) was scrupulous about cleaning up and ensuring his equiment did not track dirt in.

Description of Work: why pay a plumber's $$$ bill when all you need is a "snake". $. this is the second time i have used this company and they could not be more competent. they know their neighborhoods. what kind of construction,plumbing, problems and solutions. also, when to call a plumber ....when to use them...they also let you know the plumbers they work with..... and of course they are on angies list! . he snaked from the roof, laundry and kitchen drains...several times ...cleaned up.... wrote the bill up.... and bye bye

Description of Work: They cleaned a drain and did a very good job. They had to remove the toilet. They did it very cleanly and neatly.
