Description of Work: they serviced our central air conditioning unit. we liked them enough to recommend to friend, for whom they are also doing good work. neat and punctual and better pricing than competitor and no hard sell for extra services.

Description of Work: A switch went out on my heater. They let me use an Angie's List coupon, so the total bill was $45! Fixed the problem immediately and did not try to upsell. I will definitely use them again and have recommended them to friends.

Description of Work: I had an Angie's List deal for a maintenance checkup, but when I called the company to schedule and said I was having a problem with heat, they saved me some money. I was told about a discount for diagnosis, so that I could find out what needed to be fixed. They came right away (when I didn't have heat), got the appropriate part delivered from another truck, and I was back in heat within about 2 hours of coming to my house. I was very happy. Saved my service checkup for a time when nothing needed to be fixed.

Description of Work: One of the most-incredible experiences I've ever had with a "service" company. Our best local hardware store recommended I contact them on an HVAC challenge. I contacted them, and spent quite a bit of time hosting the visit here at the home, to explain the needs. The professional visit was not from an assistant, but from the head of the company. After our exchange, he promised to check data and get back with an estimate. It NEVER happened. Despite SIX messages from me to the store and the head thereof, over a period of FOUR months. I sent the requests by both e-mail and snail mail. My last one was a warning that I'd tell other people not to walk away from Richards, but to RUN away. That Hardware store told me - and the RIchards head - that they are no longer recommending them either.

Description of Work: I use Richard's Heating for my regular spring and fall check-ups. They show up during the service window and seem to do a good job. My furnace is working! I love using the Angie's List coupon for this service.
