Family owner and operated since 1959, Richards Heating & Air Conditioning Co. has been designing, installing and servicing residential air conditioning and heating systems in the Washington Metropolitan area. We install “total comfort conditioning” systems to meet the unique configurations of individual homes, recommending systems that fit each customer’s needs. At Richards, we are proud of our work and are dedicated to maintaining a reputation in the industry and the community as reliable experts. Richards is a fully licensed and insured mechanical, gas fitting, and electrical contractor. We qualify in the installation and service of all aspects of heating & air conditioning systems. Our service department also offer three levels of service agreements to meet your needs.

Description of Work: Furnace stopped working the day before the blizzard was going to start. Richards was very understanding and worked us into their schedule for the next day. The service man was prompt courteous and professional. He diagnosed the issue, made short term repairs to get it working right away and made suggestions for longer term care and replacement. Definitely would consider using them again.

Description of Work: Both times I have used Richards it was for same day emergency service and they sent a service provider promptly and on time both times. Issues were fixed with no problem and service providers were patient and helpful with my Q's. Will def call them again when needed.

Description of Work: I used an Angie's list coupon to get my furnace tuned up and filters changed. Service was on time. We ran into a problem during the appointment but the tech took care of it. Later when the problem reoccurred, the tech came back out and fixed the issue at no cost. I'll use them again.
