They knew exactly what it was. The part it's self is about $20, the guy came out and spent about an hour. He knew exactly what it was and how to fix it. We haven't had a problem since. I don't have any complaints about the price. Whenever something happens with the AC, I go back to them.

Technician was on time, professional, and courteous.

Inspection went fine, but contractor was unable to fix 2 leaky tubes during visit, wanted to come back for 2nd visit to replace tubes.

They were very responsive and professional. They have come out a number of times after the initial service. They A/C is great. The heat requires me to turn it up quite high, but that may be based on a number of other factors including my vent system and windows.

I have home insurance and the hard thing is they tried to charge me a lot. So when I called Angie's List and they suggested Richard's company, they came and looked at my system. But they did worse. They tried to change the whole system. I tried to look at something - I mean, they can't be reasonable - you know what I mean? So somebody recommended a good company. I mean I don't expect somebody to come in here, I don't need to spend $6,000 to replace my system. That's what - I didn't expect that one. I thought they were going to say we're going to look at and we're going to see if we can fix that. But it didn't happen; it didn't happen. I don't know how that works; my system is not new but it's five years old. We stay with the same unit and they said with the system it's still working perfectly. I had changed it five years ago, so I know they don't need to replace the whole thing, but they come here and look and that one said they're going to replace the whole thing. I said what are you talking about. Fortunately, that's when I went back to my home insurance. It's not what I expected, you see what I mean? Don't get me wrong, it's not because I'm cheap. Everybody looks and wants to change your parts. But they're trying to change the whole system. That's what I didn't understand. I told you I have home insurance on my property, but they told me they're going to change it but I needed to have a second opinion. That's when I called my co-worker and my co-worker said she worked with Richard's before and she was surprised when I told her; they said what? they want to change the whole system? That didn't happen to me. Well, unfortunately it happened with me. So really, that's not the way - they can come in and just look and get the money and say well, you need to change your system. For punctuality, I can give a C because they were running late; most usually come late. For professionalism, I can give a D because again I didn't expect they were going to tell me they're going to replace it. The technician came and they needed to call somebody, so I needed to wait for somebody to get on the phone to see how much it's going to cost me. I talked to the person by phone, and my unit - I know it's not under warranty because it's after five years- so should the system be under warranty and he said no, you're at five years. But still some units around here, they have ten to fifteen years with the same unit and it's still running because they fixed it inside, some parts. Because again, five years is not old to me. Some parts they needed to change? Yes. But you don't come in and tell me you need to change the whole system. No. I mean, who's going to have $6,000 - $7,000 dollars? Are you kidding me? Are you kidding me? So I said nope. I always wanted a second opinion because if I can save money, I'm not the only one. No, I would not use this provider again; I don't trust them. I think this is the one that came who charged the most money. You need to be spared the cost unless you want to have their business. I'm not recommending them to my friends. All companies try to make money; I understand that one. But don't come in here and say you need to change the whole system. I mean, come on.

Richards was very responsive, I scheduled an appointment for the same week, the technician showed up on time and after reviewing the furnace he got to operate properly. The price I paid was very reasonable for the job performed. I would certainly recommend them.

It turns out when it was installed 5 years ago, a certain switch was not turned on and distilled water was not added to the HVAC system. Easy fix.

In September, it cost $25 for the filters because I hadn’t picked any up yet from the hardware store. I could have had my own filters, but it was convenient to get them from him. I am under a service contract to use them again.

It works much better and is easier to use. It automatically comes back on when the power goes out. They will be calling again sometime soon now, because we are getting towards the end of the heating season. They said they would come back to check the filters again and make sure everything is functioning like it should and whatever has to be done with the air conditioning part and everything. I really like these people. I have a regular service agreement with them. They did a great job for me. I am already have used them for 2016 and 2017. I have paid for them for the year of 2017.

We started the quarterly maintenance agreement for $335 a year. We made the first payment.

They quickly found the problem - a dead mouse in the air intake, and removed it. The furnace was working again but a few days later we noticed water on the floor. The second problem was the adjustment of the condensation drain line from the hot air blowing outside. They sent the same two guys out to fix it, only took a couple minutes and at no charge. Happy with the service, but gave them a "B" because it shouldn't have taken the second trip.

I have used them for years. This was part of a plan so you pay an annual fee. Usually just one person comes out. They are pretty easy to get along with and they answer my questions. They have been my vendor for many years. They have installed equipment and effected repairs and the like.

I give them A's on everything. I have a service contract with them.

It went very well. He was thorough. He gave me a couple recommendations. He was very professional. I would use them again. I was very satisfied.

They started it in late summer but they connected the gas lines in October. The whole installation was about $8000 and it also included a new A/C unit. They were excellent. One person came out and gave me all the information about everything and when they did the installation, it was either 2 or 3. It depended on where they were at the installation stage. The delay was because they had to wait for the gas company to put in the line. They put in the interior stuff, then the gas company had to come out and do the exterior stuff and I was away part of the time, so it wasn't a delay because of them. The delay was because of working with the gas company and my travel plans. That's why it took from August till October. They left the area very clean.

After initially thinking he wouldn't be able to fix the problem, he was able to resolve the problem quickly.

The technician came out and spent less than 30 min. and charged $230. The technician didn't even bother to check the air flow and said that I have to play with a damper. I had to hire another HAVC technician to fix the airflow. It turned out that the wiring of compressor was loosened which caused an intermittent running of the compressor. I wouldn't hire this company again.

Technician pretty unfriendly and said he did not like working on humidifiers. Overall OK but maybe he was having a bad day. Said he would order necessary part and company would call me back to come out and install. Never heard from anyone at Richards.

It was completed on time at a fair price and is working well
