Wanted to use a coupon for a heating/air conditioning tuneup. After purchasing the service, the company could not deliver the services for two or three weeks. Cancelled service and contacted another vendor.

They did a great job. They were fast and their technicians were very professional. I would use them again in the future.

I didnt use this deal because they suggested another deal that worked better for what I needed and I purchased that deal. Really extraordinary service seeing that they were trying to save me money, I really appreciated that.

Excellent service provided. Technician arrived on time, with call before hand. Tech promptly identified the problem and explained what would be necessary to repair. He completed the repair and the unit has worked fine since. He also cleaned he heat exchange unit in the furnace. All-in-all a very good experience. Technician was very professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend Richards Heating & AC based on my experience.

He arrived on time. Was very professional. I think it was a hot and busy time of the summer and he was trying to get it done as fast as he could. I was initially concerned that he would miss something moving at the speed he was but it turned out he knew what he was doing and solved the problem without fail. I'd use their service again.

Excellent experience! Woke up to find we had no heat in the house, called Richards, and Vic was on the job just a couple of hours later. Quickly diagnosed the problem and explained what went wrong and our options for a fix. Very professional and courteous, an overall great experience.

I worked with four different HVAC companies and Richards was far and away the most professional and responsive. Amazingly, they were also the cheapest by about $1500 as well. I initially had them come to evaluate my old leaking furnace, using a $49 service call coupon from Angie's List. Three other companies that I had come look at it refused to perform repairs, saying I needed a new furnace. Richards also recommended a new one, pointing out many of the same issues, but agreed to repair the old one. The price of the repair was painful ($695) but it was a complicated job in an awkward space. Basically as soon as that repair was done, another aspect of the system failed and it was apparent that we couldn't put off getting a new one. Richards quoted me a price for replacement that was about $2000 less that the quotes the others had given me. Even more incredibly, they were able to fit me in the same week, which was huge because I had extended family coming to stay the following week. To top it all off, they credited the $695 previous repair towards the new furnace, even though it was a completely unrelated component of the system - and I didn't even have to ask them to. During the installation, another issue with my water heater (which I already knew was on its last legs) came to light that made replacement of that the best option, and Richards was able to add that to the job for $1000 and finished it the same day. The furnace installers, Brian and his partner (don't remember his name), could not have been friendlier or more considerate. Two follow-up visits by other Richards repairmen to fix small issues were easily scheduled and quickly finished, and we've had excellent heat and hot water since. Great experience with Richards!

Richard's installed a new, two-zone boiler to replace a very old one, less efficient one. Also my water heater was beginning to fail and was too small to support recent bathroom renovations. Jim Devalle, the install manager, was stellar. He assessed what I needed, made recommendations, designed the new system, and followed the work closely to ensure that everything was completed to Richard's high standards. The second zone, a set of tubes beneath a tile floor in a den addition, have not worked since I purchased my home in 1996. They work beautifully now. I no longer am dependent on my hearth stove to warm that room. Upon inspecting the final work, there were two areas that required changes. He worked with me to ensure that this work was done on days I was available. Brian and Ariel, the installers, are true professionals. They were personable, exceptionally accommodating and fun to work with. They take pride in their work and maintain high standards of performance--a rare find in the service industry these days. They went out of their way to ensure that my home was as warm as possible for the duration of the install and that everything met my satisfaction. Although the main water valve had to be shut off for brief periods, I was never left without hot water. Jim, Brian and Ariel worked seamlessly as a team. By applying ingenuity, they creatively addressed a space issue created by a much larger water heater that was installed immediately adjacent to the new boiler. Otherwise the washing machine and dryer would not have aligned properly. The end result is a beautiful, new and more efficient boiler and water heater. My home maintains and very comfortable temperature throughout the house and the water heater is sufficient to fill my soaking tub. I cannot adequately express how pleased I am with the entire experience.

They did good work. They couldn't figure out why it wasn't working and it did start working while they were there so it was hard to figure out why it wasn't working previously. They are coming back out now to take a look and fix it because it is not working again.

I think they were okay. They were good; it was fine. I can't recall any issues. They did good service but their price is high.

We are more than satisfied with their service. Our next door neighbour has a home inspection company and they use Richards Heating. So we figure that he really know the business so we took his advice. My husband is responsible for the payment and I?m sure it?s a fair price. We are very pleased with the quality of their work. They are very responsive.

Richards performed a standard service check on the HVAC system in a condo we own. Due to scheduling conflicts between us and our renters, we had to call and cancel this service a few times before finally finding a date when the work could be performed. Even with all the changes, they were polite, courteous, and professional. They performed the work, and didn't try to upsell us on a bunch of other services. I would use them again!

Engineer quickly diagnosed that a new circuit board would be required for our older (15 + years) furnace. The board was available for purchase from an online provider for a cost much lower then Richard's quoted, so we completed the work ourselves.

My husband purchased the Big Deal before checking to see if the provider had any openings in the time we needed service. They did not.

Furnace was cycling on & off. Richards discovered a clog in the intact, that caused the system to overheat, trip its safety, cool down, and then turn on again. Not being able to get a hold of me while I was at work, they exercised their professional judgement and completed the job exactly as I would have wanted, which required them to cut, clear, and replace intake piping. Professional, competent, timely, and reasonable price.
