Technician was very knowledgeable and repair was quick and painless. |Especially appreciated because prior quote for repair from company that did the original install quoted price of almost $3,500. Paying $425 and the honesty that went with it was priceless.

I called Richards, bought the $49 coupon, they were at my house within hours had fixed the problem, and even stuck around to offer other suggestions for winter heating solutions. It was a wonderful experience, I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: Performed routine maintenance. The technician "SO" was very polite and professional. We have 2 Carrier units and always ask for him when we need work done. Furthermore, MS. Despina Malloy is very professional and courteous when it comes to taking care of her customers.

Description of Work: Removed old AC unit and installed new one. I give them a "B" for punctuality only because one tech arrived on time and began working, but another essential tech was tied up at another job and didn't arrive until later in the day. The installation took about 6 hours.

Description of Work: This was for service call to fix AC. AC was not cooling. Technician found a stick in the unit blocking the fan. Removed stick and completely checked out unit. Technician was efficient and knew what he was doing. Told me the truth and did not try to make like something was seriously wrong with the AC. Removed the stick and quickly had the AC working fine. I'm happy!

Description of Work: Checked AC and Furnace. Cleaned filter. Repaired small gas leak. Ensured furnace and AC were safe, clean, efficient and working properly. Technician was on time, completed the job quickly and knew what he was doing. Definitely would use them again.

Description of Work: Purchased a diagnostic service from Angie's List when our A/C unit went out. I called first thing the following morning to try to get a tech to come out that day. I was told it would be at least 1 to 2 days before they could send someone to look at my AC unit. I could not go that long in the height of summer with no AC so I called another company who not only came out 2 hours later, but fixed the problem in under an hour. I still have the unused voucher from richards and I'm not sure if/when I'll use it.
