It went well. They're always very professional and on time. They also call before coming out which is nice.

The day before our appointment, I hadn't heard from Richards, so I called and was surprised to hear that we weren't on the list for that day. They never were notified by Angie's List! I had to choose another day and had to be there all day since Richards could not promise a time slot only that they would "call before they come". I was taking off that day so that was not a problem. They did call about 1/2 hour before arriving which was nice to have notice but not like I could plan my day or go out. Vic the technician arrived to do the agreed consultation and when he quickly determined that it was a fried circuit board, he had the board on his truck and offered to do the repair immediately (with a price estimate). After the replacement, he found that the thermostat was faulty too and repaired its wiring. He noticed we weren't cleaning our electrostatic filters properly and showed me how to do that. In summary, Richards provided a very experienced technician that went beyond what I expected and didn't leave until our problem was completely resolved at a price that was very reasonable. Angie's List needs to review their computer appointment setter, however.

Unfortunately, once the technician arrived the furnace refused to replicate the problems it had been giving me. However, the technician still looked over the unit, found some areas of concern but did say that nothing needed to be fixed right away, and gave some tips to help the unit run more efficiently. The technician did say that if the problem repeats itself they would come back out again without charging a new trip charge and further diagnose the problem. He was very friendly and helpful.

It was ok. They tried to up sell me. They did not diagnose the problem correctly during the first visit.

Our tenants let us know about the problem at just before 5pm on the Friday before New Years Eve. We checked Angies list and saw that Richards Heating and Air was open until 6 on Fridays and had good reviews, so we made a call. Our request was handled promptly and professionally, and a tech was scheduled for a window btw 8-3 the following day (Saturday - a $165 service charge). He arrived by 8:30, assessed the problem (a $75 repair). The office called to describe the issue and the cost of the repair, and we were good to go in about an hour. My tenants were happy, and I was thrilled - it is a very old unit, so a simple fix was a bit of a miracle! I couldn't be more pleased with their timeliness and professionalism.

I have not seen a company this customer friendly in my life. Not only do they offer the best prices right at the getgo with no bargaining, but when you have a problem related to anything they did, they come out there and fix it right away. I recently had my entire heating and air systems replaced and nobody got within 2 thousand dollars of them. And some were 5-7 thousand dollars more for the same basic equipment. Also they went beyond the contract to do some extra things for free like replacing my plastic piping leading to the outside, reworking it so it was more outside friendly in appearance and some other stuff at no additional cost. Dag i luv these guys! You'd think I was being paid by them to be so excited like this

He is good. Everything was great. The price was a little bit on the high side. It is not really high, but it is a little bit higher than expected. It was not cheap, but they have done a good job. I may use them again if I do not find anybody cheaper and that good.

My tech was the best. He went beyond just the minimal and let me know what additional work I needed and serious concerns he had about ,my vents.

They are very reliable, responsive, and I've never had any problems with them. Pete has been our technician for the last 15 years and every time he comes out he's very thorough.

Perfect! I believe I've found my "go to" business for all my furnace and AC needs. Booked an annual check up / cleaning special through Angie's because I was not happy with how radiator was working. Richards Heating and AC front office personnel were friendly and efficient over the phone. My repairman/inspector named "So" arrived on time just as had been earlier scheduled. Turns out I was not happy with furnace because one of my two water pumps (radiant heat) had seized up. So said he would have to order the part and install on a follow on trip. I scheduled new appointment over the phone (again, front office was efficient and friendly) and So arrived the following week and did a perfect repair job. What I specifically appreciated about So was his technical knowledge, hard work ethic, and willingness to answer/explain exactly what he was doing. Bottom line: winter is hear and my furnace is working great! I'm also smarter on what to look for and with how to maintain my furnace in the future. Cost of using Richards Heating and AC was dollars well spent. :-)

I was very satisfied. I did ask them about replacing a humidifier, they gave me a price. I feel like they were thorough.

Technicians arrived at the scheduled time. They were extremely professional. They put down floor cover over carpet to transport old unit to truck and then bring new unit into the furnace/laundry room. There were three technicians on the job and they performed the work, from start to finish, in about 6.5 hours. Furnace works great. We have used Richards on several occasions for HVAC work and we have always been pleased with their professionalism and service. Would highly recommend.

Overall, it was good. The technician was really friendly and really knowledgeable so we were pleased with him. We didn't have to pay extra other than what we have already paid. He did advise that there were some issues on it. I asked him about trying to get a service contract and he said our furnace was really too old. He did refer me to a salesperson about potentially looking for quotes for a new furnace but we haven't done that yet. It was just kind of good to get his input on it.

Easy to make the appointment, easy to communicate with them and the technicians was on time and quick. It took two visits to get the job done but overall the work was good.

They are good! It is somebody that is in our neighbor, I have been with them for a long time/many years and I am very happy with them. They are reasonably, they know what they are doing and prompt. They are my guys that I always call. I have a contract with them. They come out, check my system, tell me if I need anything replaced and out they go. Probably pricier than most people.
