Description of Work: O'Grady's did an overall yard clean up project that included weeding, re-mulching all of the beds in my yard and trimming all of the hedges on my property. Because of the number of beds and hedges (and the amount of weeds / need of attention for my flower beds) this project took a two person crew an entire day to complete.

Description of Work: I recently had O'Grady's Landscape come to my house to install a back patio done in pavers, as well do some general clean up of the beds, weeding, pruning, etc... I also decided to hire them for weekly lawn mowing, knowing that I would receive the same stellar service that I did on the patio and clean up project. They have exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a professional and reliable landscaping company.

Description of Work: Mike from O Grady Landscaping gave me a proposal for complete renovation of my front yard in March of this year. The estimate was more expensive than 2 competitors but I liked working with a smaller firm. Major drawback was no credit cards. Part of the area to be planted involved the base of a tree which requires a hardier plant. As I had little knowledge about what plants would do best , I relied on Mikes experience. There was a 6 month window for replacing plants that die..(it is 12 months through Merrifield or Meadows or Craigs). Mike assured me that it would be a little trial and error and we would see what did best. I think that the landscaping plan was a good one and all was well for 5 weeks. At 6 weeks or so I bagan to notice that several of the plants were dead. I also could see the plant bulb as there were no leaves and it appeared that the plants were placed on top of the ground. Mike , although very responsive by email...took his time to come out and finally replaced those 2 plants. Between 8-10 weeks out more of the plants around the tree died. When mike came out at 10 weeks he said that "it was an act of God" that the plants died and he was not responsible. He blamed squirrels and chipmunks for "digging "up the plants..(. We have lots of deer and snakes but they don't dig up plants!) It was very clear that he did not want to work on the problem.. A lot of the plants did well in the same area around the tree. I can certainly understand blight from bugs or eaten by animals or storms as Acts of God , but not picking the wrong plants~ I have since replaced 10 of the plants with a hardier mix and they seem to be thriving., After paying $4,000.00 (and another $2,000.00 in the back and side yards) I feel like a fool for using this company. Neighbors are appalled that so many of the plants died. It was very expensive and customer satisfaction is ZERO. Terry Jordan I

Description of Work: We use O'Grady's Landscape to do our lawn. They do weekly lawn mowing during the summer. They do seeding, aerating, weed control and they do spraying for pests on the grass. They have also done leaf collection and removal in our backyard.
