Description of Work: Recommended a repair for a cracked computer screen that was not worth the price. I have since found out that I can order the parts and do it myself.

Description of Work: I've used their services multiple times. A terrific alternative to the big guys like Best Buy and Staples. Face to face contact with work done directly in the shop. Twice I've brought them broken printers. They succeeded in fixxing one, said not to bother with the second,and generally counseled that it's cheaper to just buy a new printer than attempt to fix a busted one. They also cleaned up the hard drive of a laptop computer that was slow to start up and they similarly speeded up another laptop our family brought in to them. Friendly straight-shooting staff. It's a relief to know I've got easy access to capable, trustworthy people.

+ -1 moreI sent the laptop to NADsys for repair. The fan was covered by the warranty. The wrist rest was not. The repairs to the laptop were complete within 3 days (parts had to be ordered).
Description of Work: I've used NADsys several times for laptop repairs, both in and out of warranty - replacement of malfunctioning screens, keyboards, and fans. I find the cost of the out-of-warranty repairs to be very reasonable. The service for all the repairs is quick and reliable. In this particular case, I had a laptop with a malfunctioning fan causing the laptop to suddenly shut off. The laptop also had a cracked wrist rest. Both the fan and wrist rest were replaced.
