Alvaro Lopez and his crew did an outstanding job. Alvaro was responsive to our needs and concerns and kept us informed every step of the way. His crew was very efficient and minimized damage to the surrounding area and any traffic disruption. His price was very reasonable considering the size of the job. Highly recommended!

Excellent! Alvaro came and assessed the work site on Monday. He called me later and let me know they'd be able to come in Tuesday to complete the job. The crew arrived on time and completed the job in one day. Very well priced. Would hire again.

Lopez Tree Service came over right away. The job is done except the stump grinding because the ground was too wet. The crew were very professional, safe, dedicated, and industrious. Communication was excellent. Albaro showed me certification and insurance up front before we talked about price. He'd had a long list of references, including my neighbor across the street a year ago. By chance I met him that day. I had a large branch that had fallen and offered to dispose of it. I dragged it over and he did it for free. The price Albaro gave me was $1000 better than the next estimate, and I didn't have to haggle. Lopez did such a great job that my neighbor next door hired them right away. The're the only tree service i'll ever call.

So happy to have Lopez Tree Service to take care my 60 years old falling maple tree. Mr. Lopez come within 3 hours after I called him and quote me a very reasonable price and finished the job the next day. His crews are very professional and nice, clean up everything before leaving. I am so happy I hired this company. I called them Monday, Alvaro was in the area and came by within an hour to gave me an estimate. Two days later, I called him to accept his estimate. Once again, they were in the area, had time, and by the time I got home from work, the dead trees were gone and the area immaculately clean. I'm so happy I chose to work with Alvaro and his team.

I got reference of Lopez tree service company either from Angies list. I contacted the company. Company representative came and we agreed on the amount and work to be done. He immediately get the contract signed and told me the work will be completed on Saturday at 9am. On Saturday, at 11am company people came and this time, it’s different person. He saw trees and told me that he can not do this job in this price or he will reduce the work or increase the money. I told him your representative agreed to this and contract is signed yesterday. The person responded that I am the boss and owner and I don’t care about the contract. I said this is not ethical but the person left without completing the work. I read the contract carefully then in fine print it said that company can cancel contract anytime without any reason and if customer cancel the contract then he will pay full money and customer will pay the legal fees. I text the owner that he should send me a confirmation that he canceled the contract but he is not responding. To make myself clear and safe should I report this as Fraud or what I should do? I dont believe Angieslist registered such business.

Excellent work, totally professional, best price, and the project could not have gone better. We won't even consider any other tree service from here on out. The crew showed up when promised and did an excellent job of tree removal and debris removal. They worked together like a well trained team should. The yard and surrounding area was cleaner when they were done than when they started. Highly recommend Lopez Tree Service and will use them again for my landscaping and tree service needs.

Alvaro was the first of four companies to respond back to my inquiry and was able to come to our house and provide an estimate the very next day.

Mr. Lopez and his team did a great job trimming, removing trees and clearing out a lot of brush and undergrowth from the previous owner (4 decades of growth!) His price was the most reasonable by far of the three bids we sought, and his crew was great. Definitely would hire again.

Outstanding! Mr. Lopez and his workers arrived on time, and they set to work professionally and carefully. The work went quickly and efficiently. They paid attention to surrounding items and took precautions to be sure nothing on the property could possibly be damaged. There was a quality of respect and attention to detail in the way the workers proceeded. They cut the trees exactly as I asked, leaving an "aesthetic" height of stump just as I requested, so I can place a pot of flowers on each in the spring. When they were done, they cleaned up thoroughly. Very good crew.

He did the estimate the day after I called and the work itself 3 days later. Very responsive. They did a through (more thorough than I cheaper place I used a few years ago) job and cleaned up well. I definitely recommend them.

Splendidly! Crew of 12, 3 trucks (one with grinder), very professional, friendly, positive, all crew members were remarkably alert and safety conscious, efficient, and thoroughly cleaned up the mess.

They showed up bright and early and cut the tree down expertly. Took away the wood and cleaned up the street and the yard. These guys are very professional. So I told them I would review their 2nd job for me and it was great. They even gave me a great price because the first guy who pruned my tree had killed it using spiked shoes. So they are compassionate as well. If the picture uploaded u can see where they left a bit to hold that ground steady and by the house you will notice that tree is no long there and we have a drain pipe running under ground with sod covering it.

Very fast, professional. Very courteious. Price is very reasonable. They expertly took the tree down and ground is so good we ran our drainage pipe where the tree was. I am very pleased. The old saying they were worth every penny.

Great! It only took one day for the trees to be taken down and a couple of hours the next day to remove the stumps. Alvaro was professional and checked in with us at the end of each day. His team was hardworking and efficient. I would recommend them to anyone!

Extremely well. They did a very good job, thinned out the canopy to permit the winds to easily pass through the canopy without hitting a "wall" of leaves and branches that might cause damage to the tree and to my house. They cleaned up after themselves and removed all of the cuttings. They provided a three-man team. I am experienced at this trimming ritual which has been repeated regularly to maintain tree health and property safety. These men were professionals and their price was extremely reasonable. The value of their service is very good. I will certainly use them again and have requested estimates for additional work on other overhanging trees whose trimming is not so imperative as the one they did but I would like to attend to them as well.

Mr. Lopez and his crew are professionals all the way around. First off, his estimate for removing two trees was the most reasonable and fair out of the 4 different (and highly rated) tree removal companies in the area. He even agreed to help with pruning some other trees as part of this cost. Mr. Lopez is very friendly, but is also very quick at providing a bottom line fair price. This job was not cheap ($3.5k), but we literally received estimates north of $5k from competitors (and for less work). His crew arrived exactly on time and made quick work of a HUGE silver maple (40-50 feet tall and leaning towards our house!) that was between my Vienna home and the neighbor next door. It was amazing to watch his crew work in concert with a crane operator to dissemble the tree piece by piece. His crew also removed a 20-foot pine with ease. It was clear that safety for his crew and the customer was a priority. The men were very respectful of both my neighbor's property and mine as they literally removed all debris (saw dust, twigs, branches, etc.) as they finished their work. They also took time to carefully remove birdhouses from trees prior to pruning (and put them back). Mr. Lopez and his crew made sure that we were 100% satisfied with the work performed and even helped remove a few extra branches (at no extra charge) upon request. He even helped remove some old yard debris that wasn't even from his job. They finished the job by double-checking the area for debris/trash and did a final sweep with leaf blowers. I would highly recommend Lopez Tree Services. Truly a model of how business should operate: honest, fair, and with pride in a job done right. He will absolutely be getting referrals from me when ever someone I know needs a tree removed or lawn service. A++++++

Excellent. Very professional. Mr. Lopez supervised the work, his crew were ready and waiting to get started and they did a great job. Branches on a tree taller than 20 ft were trimmed back far enough where they won't overhang the roof for at least a year or two. They also cleaned up so no mess was left behind. I would 100% hire them again!

Mr. Lopez was very polite, professional, and knowledgable. He was recommended by our neighbor, and lived up to her recommendation completely. He gave me an estimate for trimming 3 trees and removing the dead one, and then I realized there was one more tree that should be trimmed a bit. He included that one at no extra charge. He estimated he could do the job at the end of the next week, but called us and scheduled it for Monday of that week. His work team seemed very competent, worked with security apparatus, and they cleaned up after the job very well. The trees look great and so does our yard - an amazing difference. The price seemed reasonable, was comparable to one I'd received months earlier, and my neighbor said their estimate for her work was comparable to another she'd received. Based on that info, I did not get 2 other current estimates as I usually do for work like this.
