Description of Work: Jeff had his crew ( one guy) fabricate a brick mailbox pier. I think Jeff is not too good in the " idea and design'/color dept", but if you hav e your own design and want it a certain way, give him the explicit directions, then he's your man. He also did some masonary wall repair. that turned out fine. He was punctual, very reasonable in price and did a great job. He didnt push for lots of money up front, which was nice.

Jeff called and said he could start immediately on Friday afternoon. He called back and said the previous job wasn't going as quickly as planned, and he would get started on Saturday morning. Promptly on Saturday morning, he picked up the first half of the payment, dropped off buckets, wheelbarrows, and a note saying he was going to get supplies. He then called and said he was delayed, and they'd get started on Sunday morning. Promptly on Sunday morning, they came and picked up the other half of their check did the greater portion of the job, and said they'd be back on Monday to finish up. On Tuesday, Jeff's partner William came and cleaned up some of the spatter and splash. The bottom line is that they did a pretty darn nice job, but it did take five days total. If you use Jeff, just book that eventuality into your expectation.
Description of Work: Jeff resurfaced our porch and steps, replaced some mortar that was missing, and repaired some uneven masonry at the base of the porch.

Well this Mason is one interesting character. After being well versed on flagstone patio/walkway from previous masons, I decided to go with this mans company based on his expertise, quote and other due diligence I performed on him and his company. I received multiple quotes from reputable masons but scheduling was the factor as he could start promptly. Needless to say, the job was completed after a very stressful situation. Jeff Cadle offered a quote based on labor and materials and he was asked to match the existing pathway and of course no had no problem doing that, it will look exactly like the way you have it now, with same stones, pattern, etc. The first day started out great, he had bunch of workers take out the old flagstone which was on on stone dust/dirt and excavated the pathway. His workers also delivered my existing flagstones to a friends house 6 miles away after over-charging him to the tune of $400. Few days later, he poured concrete from supplier which was not the best type (very coarse full of stones) but time will tell if it holds up. Then his crew started to lay stones which were completely different from existing stones on the property. He started to use yellow Tennessee flag stones where my entire existing path and patio was installed using Arizona and Colorado stones which were blush, red in color with shades of yellow. I truly believe he was trying to save money by buying cheap already broken up stones from Sissler's instead of getting a palette of Arizona and Colorado flagstones which were larger in dimension. We had discussed in detail about what stone to use and their size and layout prior to the contract!! So the next day during my lunch hour I had to meet him at Tri-State stone yard and pay for stones as he used up the 50% of the deposit I had given to him and he said did not have any money. Be very careful about mason in this regard as I have run across every one of them that worked this was. So I pay for the stones, he brings it to the house and his crew re-starts the job the next day after picking up additional Colorado stones from Sissler's which I pay over the phone. I inform the crew to start using larger pieces to match the existing pathway and re-do the area with small incorrect stones. After a week, the job was complete but owner never showed up after meeting me at Tri-State. The crew consisted of four spanish guys and the lead mason William who was very polite and accommodating unlike Jeff Cadle. The bottom line is if you have Jeff Cadle do your job, please write down every single thing and give it to him and record the conversation if possible, otherwise you will be in for a surprise. I feel like I was going to be taken especially after he took the first $2500 (my bank calls me as he does not have a bank account) but after buying the stone I had some leverage and could have taken him to court if he did not finish. In my case, he low-balled to get the job as he mentioned he did not have any work for about a week and then raised the price to $5000 (as the original quote was $4500) because he said he would do this and that but he did not do anything special. Furthermore, the crew left and did not pressure or acid wash the stone walkway, left splattered concrete on my garage door, gutter which I have to remove. I am pleased with the projects outcome but the experience left a bitter taste and I have learned a lot about stone masons and how they work.
Description of Work: Install 230 sq. ft flagstone walkway on concrete base to match the existing flagstone path that ended in back yard. This was on the side of the home from driveway to back yard.

While the bricks were placed fairly well, I'm not happy that the mortar does not blend in with the existing mortar. I realize it is hard get the exact match and was not expecting it. But there is a definite difference between gray (new mortar) and beige/buff (old mortar). If it was in the range of beige, I would not complain. But gray is not beige. Care was not taken in making sure the new mortar would be as close as possible.

I like that he did the estimate right on the spot. He completed the work on time and it was very well done. I had no complaints about the work. He explained different options on different parts of it so that we could determine what options we liked the best. The quality was excellent and their pricing was a little lower than the highest bid.

We had a stone sidewalk installed about 5 yrs ago. Over the past winter some of the stones had crumbled and the edges were uneven. It was a very messy appearance. Jeff was prompt in giving us a reasonable estimate not only to repair the sidewalk but also adding a brick border. He showed up with his crew on time and ready to work. The work was completed in one day and the sidewalk looks great. I would certainly use Jeff again.

Mr. Cadle installed a beautiful new patio. He and his crew showed up performed the work as promised. He was very helpful in deciding on which products to use and the design. The price he quoted was very reasonable. Several friends have already asked for his card!

great. Jeff was responsive right away. His workmen were professional, punctual and did a great job. I am not sure that Jeff is very creative on his own, as far as design, color, etc, but if you present your design, select your colors, etc to him, he can make it happen.

It went very well. Jeff was very accommodating, and did not complain when we changed our minds about the type of brick to be used. He started and finished when he said he would. His crew did such an excellent job on the front steps, we asked him to repair the basement walk-out. He doesn't work cheap, but the quality was first rate. We would recommend him without reservation.
Description of Work: Concrete front steps were repaired and paved over with brick. Brick and block basement walk-out walls and concrete steps were repaired.

Description of Work: I have used Mr. Cadle for a number of years. He has been doing work for me for 35 years. His performance is excellent. He is professional, polite, prompt and his prices are reasonable. I would recommend him to anyone doing work around that house. He does not have experience in large multilevel buildings.

He does great stone and brick work. 3ft by 6ft walkway, 4ftx10ft area of patio. He reset the bricks, relaid the grade. The walkway was set in concrete. He shows up when he says he will, cleans up on his jobs. He has various helpers depending on job size. Its nice to have a smaller organization do work for me.
Description of Work: He made a masonry brick front walk for me. He has also done a small area repair on a brick patio.
