HIGH TECH HEATING & AIR CONDITIONING

Our AC broke and when we called our Home Warranty Service provided they referred us to Hi Tech. The AC broke on Friday night, we called Hi Tech immediately, left a voicemail, and by 8am Saturday Steve was calling us to come to our house. He came in and within minutes he had found the problem and fixed it. In and out in less than 15 mins. It was amazing! We would definitively call him again in the future.

Technician didn't want to do the leak search I hired him to do. He complained when I made him do it and then he didn't do it correctly. He did not check the indoor unit at all, lied about what was wrong with the unit to get out of doing the job correctly, let himself into my house uninvited when I was upstairs, and refused to listen to the fact that I put 2 pounds of freon in the system last year (even though I had paperwork to prove it!) I complained to the company and they did not even offer an apology!

This vendor came after I called my home warranty company regarding a problem with my furnace. Fortunately, I had already gotten my own company to come diagnose the problem, so I had an idea. This guy never mentioned anything about about the problem the first guy did, which made sense. Instead he came up with something that the first guy hadn't even mentioned, that he said was a fire hazard that he could fix for $180, and that would, not surprisingly, void my warranty until it was fixed. I think at the least, this guy was taking advantage of a situation.

I am a property manager and I was calling in to check to see if the work was completed at one of our properties. When I spoke with the Owner of this Vendor the first time he reported to stop calling him, he couldn't understand me! I called right back and the Owner told me to F*** Off, and not call ever again. I called back again and the Owner put me directly into Voice Mail. I would never recommend this company to ANYONE!!!!!!

My a/c unit was leaking water from the interior unit. The contractor Old Republic sent originally didn t find any problem and said because it wasn t leaking at the time he couldn t diagnose the problem. It still leaked, so I called and they sent another contractor High Tech Heating and Air who said it was installed improperly, that it wasn t covered under the warranty and that he would fix it for $250 I then called McCarthy they found that because the floor has a slight slant the condensation was not draining properly they fixed it in under 10 minutes for a total cost of $40 on Labor Day weekend!!!! This guy tried to rip me off. I called to tell Old Republic that I felt I was being ripped off by their contractor; the customer service rep. said rather rudely that the contractor was "sticking to his opinion", that it was installed improperly; she didn t even want to hear about the $40 solution McCarthy Services came up with.
