Hall's Landscaping

Description of Work: We had them do some general lawn maintenance, yard clean up, and install some mulch and plants. Lou was great about responding to emails and provided us with some tips and things we could do ourselves. They were a little more expensive than I expected for this type of work but they did a great job. My yard looks fabulous!

Description of Work: Mr. Hall and an associate came and began agreed upon work while I was away. They did a beautiful job of removing and shaping ivy, resurrecting bushes, mulching and removing leaves. The front of the house hasn't looked so good in many years. They are scheduled to do lawn revitiliztion in March. I would highly recommend them

Description of Work: I have used Lou several times and would go to him again. He takes care of my rental property and I do not live in the area. So trust is a major factor.

Description of Work: Transplanted three hydrangeas and several mature azaleas. Weeded and cleaned area to be landscaped, which included an awkward hill. Delivered and installed new plants and mulch. Fertilized newly installed and transplanted plants. Applied double shredded mulch to entire area. Hauled and dumped.

Description of Work: Remove two boxwoods and two other old plants. Treat Photinia for leaf spots. Cut back Photinia and Laurels to property line and fertilize them. Cut back kudzu to top of long retaining wall. Hall and dump all debris.

Description of Work: Pruned 8 forsythias, replaced one forsythia, pruned 8 other shrubs, a yew hedge, rhododendrons. Created a small bed along walk way with new plantings. When 3 of the new plants didn't do well, they were promptly replaced with new ones that are now striving. All beds around the property were mulched. Lou and his brother Rob had planted a new bed with shrubs last year. A couple of plants most likely became victims of some deer over the winter, but the shrubs were replaced with new ones this year without questions asked. I am always pleasantly surprised at the professionalism and responsiveness I get from Hall's Landscaping.

Description of Work: We hired Hall's Landscaping to do basic work to our backyard and minor work to the front. We are happy with their work. Clean and neat. we thought they were a little pricey though.

Description of Work: I contacted Hall's Landscaping based on the report from Angies' List, and made an appointment for consultation and viewing of yard (s) to be worked on or about 4/12/11. Due to suffering from a broken foot, I called to reschedule the appointment to the date above. Louis came out to view what I wanted done, which included spring cleanup, light pruning, bed preparatioin, planting and transplanting, patio pots preparation, mulch distribution - for TWO yards. I had prepared a DETAILED LIST OF EVERYTHING I NEEDED AND SKETCHES OF THE AREAS TO BE WORKED. He also took photos all around both residences. I asked if he wanted a deposit, and he said no, that he would be back in touch by the week's end with an estimate. THAT WAS THE LAST TIME I HEARD FROM HIM. I particularly needed assistance because of my broken foot and recent surgery. I am very disappointed at the "lack of service" and concerned that he took several photos all around my residences. Too bad he blew me off - it would have been a good job including tip.

Description of Work: Mr. Heins responded promptly to my e-mail request for an estimate on making my front yard presentable. It really was in bad shape after the winter snow and my inability to work outside in this summer's heat. He scheduled the work for the following week. It involved stump removal, weeding, cleaning, leaf removal, trimming and pruning bushes and shrubs, transplanting azaleas, adding some new plants, fertilizing and mulching, delivery, hauling, and dumping.
