They did a great job at a great price. I would not hesitate to hire again.

Hall's prices seem very reasonable. The crew was prompt, polite, personable, professional and hard-working. They dug up and bagged all bulbs, filled resulting holes with topsoil and seed mixture. It was fussy work, but they were very patient and painstaking. On a second visit they trimmed the hollies so they look natural, not an easy task on a ladder manhandling a pole-mounted chain saw with the wind gusting up to 30 mph. Crew cleaned up thoroughly afterwards and went to extra trouble to make sure the site looked better than they'd found it.

We have used Hall's Landscaping 4 times now. Each time they have been nothing less than polite, professional and hard working. The yard has looked great after each service. The guys are down on their hands and knees placing the mulch. Lou is very quick with replies to your e-mails. I highly recommend Hall's Landscaping.

I love this company! On time, they did a beautiful, very clean, exact job. Courteous, punctual, very considerate, good price. I was so pleased with everything. I would not use anyone else after hiring a company like this. Winners!!!

We contracted with Hall's Landscaping to "clean up" our yard after the winter, and to add mulch and wood chips to our flower beds and backyard playground. We couldn't be happier with their service! The team did an amazing amount of work over two days, and the yard looked perfect after they were finished. We also examined multiple bids, and Hall's was the lowest we found from among several reputable companies. Once again, we're very pleased, and we plan on using Hall's in the future.

Robert is fabulous to work with and his people are very courteous, professional and polite. Robert told me what was happening every step of the way and was here almost every day making sure it went as planned. He came in and identified drainage issues and areas of concern. They put in French drains, piping from the downspouts and dry river beds. The yard looks fantastic and the drainage works fabulous. I would hire them in a heartbeat.

We could not have been more pleased with the final output. Rob (lou's brother) and his team did an excellent job. They were very professional. They even agreed to add few plants on our request without changing the original price. They really showed a very customer service oriented mind set. My wife and I are very pleased with their work and agreed to call them back for our yearly maintenance. I will strongly recommend them.

Lou looked at photos of the current condition and worked with us to choose appropriate bushes to design a new landscaping design. The team showed up on time and asked for my feedback several times throughout the process to make sure I was happy with the look. They went above and beyond.

I've used Hall's Landscaping several times and every time they've done an excellent job for a fair price. The most recent work they did for me involved cleaning up the mess that was my yard and the difference once it was done was amazing. Arrived on time, service was delivered exactly as quoted in the proposal and everything looks great. Lou provided beautiful options for the plantings because the spaces are relatively compact. Workers were knowledgeable and efficient. Will definitely use their services on an ongoing basis. Lou is pretty "laid back" but don't let that fool you! Excellent service and value for the price.

Excellent - Lou and Rob were very easy to work with, hard working and finished the job on time after working for 3 days straight - always willing to listen to our ideas and accomodate our requests. When we were going on vacation after the work, they watered our sod beds to make sure they got enough water. Would recommend them to everyone!

Lou and his crew did a great job. As an out of state homeowner trying to sell my home, I needed to enhance my home's curb appeal in an economical way. Lou and his team did an excellent job of removing my weed-ridden grass and replacing it with nice looking mulch and plantings inside of a new landscape timber box they constructed for me. I gave Lou a general idea of what I was looking for, and he came through for me with great selections of what to plant. Lou was great to work with. I contacted him initially through email and we handled everything through email (initial discussion of job, picture examples, quote, scheduling, pictures of completed job, final invoice). I don't know what Lou looks like or what his voice sounds like, but I can tell you that he is very responsive, competent, and is a man of his word. Lou will be my first call next time I need landscaping work done in Northern Virginia, and I would definitely recommend him to others. Thanks Lou!

Getting an estimate was easy, and scheduling the work & getting it done were painless. Everyone was easy to work with.

Ordered 10-12 foot trees, they brought 8-10 foot trees. Took 4 weeks to actually get them planted. After two days, one of the trees was leaning against the fence. Can't seem to get them to come back out and straighten it up. Poor communication. Seems to be drama between business owners that they blamed the poor service on.

Although rain delayed us by several weeks the end result was awesome. Would not hesitate to hire again.

The Hall's team did a great job. They all were very polite and professional, I've had multiple landscaping companies over the years do similar work, the Hall's team is the only company that completed everything I wanted the 1st time. I'll recommend the company to my friends and neighbors.

Wonderful work. Hall worked extensively with us in selecting what new plants we wanted, offering many suggestions and being very collaborative. The crew that removed 3 truck loads of existing bushes and then on a second day planted the truckload of replacements (including 4 trees) was very professional and at all times worked with us -- not just "for" us. It was clear our satisfaction with every element of the project was important to them. We WILL be using Hall to do some extra work in the fall and otherwise in the future.
