Hall's Landscaping did a fabulous job! We were incredibly disappointed with our last spring clean-up and found Hall's Landscaping from Angie's List last fall. First, Lou Heins is very professional, friendly, and gives quick, thorough estimates. The work was scheduled quickly and was performed superbly. Our yard has a lot of plantings and beds with various shrubs, bushes, and plants, which makes our yard pretty intensive for spring clean-up. Our yard is so beautiful now. I would highly recommend Hall's and we will definitely use them again and again!

As usual, I was extremely satisfied. Rob and Charlie were very efficient and did an excellent job including cleaning up after the job.

Lauren and Robert were extremely flexible with their visits and our schedules. They were very patient with my questions and provided a lot of very helpful and insightful advice in response. Zealous, hardworking, efficient and knowledgeable, I was quite impressed with the work they were able to accomplish - especially considering that the ground, leaves and gutters were frozen. They were very honest and fair with their estimates and I would say that they over delivered. We are consulting with them to help rescue our landscaping. An affable pair, I would heartily recommend them.

Everything went great amd they worked with us to get trees amd plants situated the way we wanted. We've had them back to do multiple jobs. Will use them again.

I contacted both numbers listed for this company and left messages on both lines asking for a patio cleanup (landscape service). It's been over two weeks and this business still doesn't have the common business practice to call a customer back and let them know how they can help. This is terrible customer service and I will never ever recommend this service to anyone. Shame on them.

Lauren and Robert worked with me on my budget so that I could still have the services I need completed, but not have to spend more than I was able to at the time. They did leaf removal for us, in the cold of January! Our back yard had not been done all season long, and was quite a project. Based on the size of our lot, Lauren was able to accurately estimate the amount of man hours it would likely take to complete the job, and they were able to do it all in the time frame allotted for, within my budget. They were friendly and the work was professional. They were prompt with their correspondence and the work was completed within a week of my initial inquiry. It would have been completed sooner, but the weather was a factor for us that week. I will definitely call them again next season with my lawn care needs!

They were terrific to work with. They were responsive and gave me a detailed estimate. They gave me a work plan and emailed me when I had questions. The work was done according to the schedule and I have been very happy with them. It took a little over two days. I thought that the price was fair. I would use them again.

Lou was extremely responsive from the start. He came the next business day in-person to talk about our needs and gave a quick estimate. Work was started as soon as weather would permit, and the team worked for several full days and did a wonderful job. We've gotten multiple compliments from neighbors on how great our landscaping looks thanks to Lou and his team. We will definitely return to Hall's Landscaping in the spring when we're ready for additional planting.

They gave us a price that we felt was a little high so we asked them to do the clean-up only until they hit $450 - they did a great job. Were on time and very nice to work with - will definitely call them again if we need any general yard work.

I've used the company in the past few years and they have maintained their standard of service. They had some spare time from a previous job and came over a week earlier then anticipated. They reported in, cleaned the yard very well and reported out.

From the initial email to the final clean-up, our experience with Hall's Landscaping was excellent. Our first contact began with an email and Lou's responsiveness was great! We had approximately five emails that included contact, estimate (from them actually coming to the house and being very specific), modifying our estimated based upon an increase and decrease of various serves, final arrangements, and follow-up. Each email was professional, prompt, and efficient. While the communication was good, the actual clean-up and lawn care was beyond impressive! We asked for our yard to be cleaned and to include the following: leaf clean-up, garden trimming, yard raking, mowing, etc. Upon arrival, I met with the gentlemen and introduced myself. I asked for one additional item, and they were very kind to help. I had four buckets of soil that needed to be removed. I couldn't move them and my husband had broken his leg, so we had to ask for help. They were very kind and removed them for us. From there, they were completely independent. I left in the middle of their work and returned after they had left. Upon my arrival, I felt relieved and happy to see that the entire yard was cleaned up so immaculately. All my plants were trimmed to an appropriate level. My bushes were cleaned out. I don't think I could have found a leaf on the yard if I tried. It was just that darned good! I plan to use Hall's Landscaping for my future projects and am thrilled to have found someone who has both excellent customer service and superior yard care.

I have a large front and back yard that were in need of maintenance. There had been no maintenance done for 3 years so all of the plants, bushes, and hedges (of all types) were overgrown. Lauren, her husband, and one other helper did all of this in 7 hours. Very professional. They know their plants what to keep, what to get rid of, etc.

Provided cost estimate, made some suggestions, were very cooperative and responsive via phone and coming in timely manner onsite. Performed all power washing and landscape work very thoroughly and as promised, went the extra mile, cleaned up, and removed debree. Will definitely use again.

Wonderful! Wonderful! Hall's responded to my initial call in a very timely fashion. Lou came to discuss the needed work. Our yard is large - front and back - extending into dense woods in the back. The yard was in bad shape - overgrown areas, bushes in need of trimming and shaping, bushes and small trees that need to be dug out/removed, a rusty swing set that required breakdown and hauling away. The two crew members arrived one day earlier than expected to get started and that was great! They were on time and started work immediately. This was a two-day job and they were superb in their work and finished product. The same crew arrived the second day early in the morning and worked to complete the job. We could not be more pleased! The entire yard looks like a different place - all to the positive. We plan on hiring Hall's for our spring yard clean-up and sprucing. We would hire Hall's again without question! Thanks guys - it looks great!

Working with Halls for onsite cost estimate, final estimate, onsite t/w work contracted was efficient, thorough, clean up and removal of debris was a very cooperative experience, professional process. I found them to be very cooperative and good. Will use them again and recommend them.

Lou was very easy to get a hold and their team did a good job preparing my lawn for next spring. There was no mess left. Would definitely use them again!

Using Hall's was a wonderful experience from start to finish. Service was prompt and professional and our yard has never looked better. Will be happy to hire again.

I was very pleased with the service, especially since they were able to come the day before a party and on very short notice. Robert was very professional, and showed up right on time. He supervised the crew, and left, but returned from time to time to make sure everything was going smoothly. Matt and the two other guys did everything we had requested, and then even offered to remove some leaves for us. They men were very polite and worked most of the day. They left the job spotless. We will hire them again!

I wasn't at home when they did the trimming, but was happy when I got home and saw the results. They did a nice job of cutting the shrub back and taking 1 - 1 1/2 feet off the top of it (had been about 8 ft tall). The shaping looks very nice. I had emailed them asking about the serice. Lou got back to me quickly by email and was able to come and take a look within a few days. I am pleased with the work and am interested in talking with them about doing some landscaping in my townhouse backyard in the spring.

They showed up on time and went straight into the job. They pulled out all the vines and weeds that had infested the ground cover and areas. Trimmed all the shrubs back for winter including the Japanese Red Maple. I had three dead shrubs that had been killed by bugs, and they replaced with new insect resistant plants. He also recommended a small ground cover plant for a problem area that I had, and it looks great. I already have them on the schedule to come back in the spring.

Halls did an excellent job and I couldn't be more pleased. Lou was very responsive, friendly, and professional as was his staff who did the work. I will certainly use halls again when needed.

They asked me to mark sprinkler heads, which I did. The crew was punctual, polite and professional and performed the work as requested. I would recommend this service provider to anyone with similar needs.

I requested the service in August for mid-September. Lou is very responsive and professional -- the day before the service, Lou contacted me and notified us that he would be doing the aeration the following day. They showed up that day and performed the service as requested. Overall the quality seems good and Lou is pleasant to work with, although the price is a little higher than expected.

Halls Landscaping did a great job. They took a neglected area (fenced in) and made it look great. They had good suggestions, did terrific work, were professional and went above and beyond to make the yard look great. I will definitely use them again!

We requested a quote for the work and Lou Heins was very responsive in answering our e-mail. Robert Holmes came out to the house to provide the estimate in a timely fashion. The crew who did the work was led by Robert's wife, Lauren, and they did a great job. They were very professional, worked like dogs, and asked us about everything before they did any work to make sure they were doing what we wanted done. Lauren had some great ideas on how to make things look nice and everyone was very thorough. They finished up the job at dark and after they left I noticed they had forgotten to edge the sidewalk so I sent Mr Heins an e-mail. Robert and Lauren had already indicated they would have to come back to put down some rock dust between some flagstones in the entryway because they didn't have the right color with them so I asked if they could take care of the edging then. Sure enough, when Robert and one worker came back the next day they took care of it. Robert and Lauren were great to work with and I would highly recommend them.
