They were A+++ did everything requested and more. Super responsive, very hard working, polite, respectful and willing to do the job until we were satisfied. Three men worked for a full day. $1200

Hall's Landscaping did a great job with the work. They spent a day cleaning up the front and back yards. They put down fresh mulch and planted some shrubs. The yards look wonderful. This is my third time using them and I expect to use them again in the future.

The three man crew worked diligently for 10 1/2 hours to weed, edge and mulch a very large area along our driveway and completely around our house. In addition they pruned three large holly trees and a dogwood tree. The trees have never looked better. The entire job was done carefully, thoroughly and to our complete satisfaction. We are very happy with their work and will be using them again in the future

They exceeded my expectations in all areas from professionalism of the team to the finished yard. I would highly recommend Hall's Landscaping to anyone who needs this kind of service. Lou and his group are a rare find and I look forward to hiring them again.

Lou was extremely prompt in returning my email request for lawn service in Dale City for a listing I represent. While he wasn't able to help since his company doesn't go that far out, he recommended a colleague who was able to get to the property same day. Very professional and prompt - A+ and I plan to use his services with other customers in his area.

Hall's Landscaping is amazing! Not only did they come out during one of the coldest days in April - high of 39 degrees with 40 mph winds, they stayed ALL DAY and our yard looks AMAZING!! I can't stop looking out the window! Rob called me at work and suggested some ideas to place the wood chips we were interested in using to assist with some bald spots where our grass doesn't grow and the end result is gorgeous! I would recommend Hall's Landscaping in a heartbeat!

I worked with Lou, who was so very helpful. Rob and Orlando did the work. They called me ahead, were courteous and worked hard. The yard looked great and they did extra raking and mulching that they didn't have to do. Very pleased!

Overall good. Mulch and back lawn looks fantastic. Estimate included weeding, which was done in most spots, but the patio was not weeded. Edging was specified as well and was performed most places, but missed on the front beds. Response to complaint was essentially "we'll do better next time."

This is the second time we have hired Hall's Landscaping. We've used them for planting some hydrangeas and shrubs as well. This time around they had to cut down a large pine tree that was too close to out house. I love the way it turned out. The stump that is left is not obvious, and they did a great job cleaning up and removing the tree from my property. They also needed to mulch all of our garden beds, got rid of all our weeds, pruned bushes, and just an overall yard clean-up (leaves, sticks, debris that has collected in our yard over the winter). They did a fantastic job. Our house looks great from the front and back. We're pretty low maintenance when it comes to our yard. Not big on gardening, but Lou has definitely made our yard manageable for us.

They did a great job! The yard looks great. It was a two-man crew for a day and they worked hard all day. Hall's provides excellent value.

Lou and team did a fantastic job! I had ripped out my front bed before winter and needed to get some plants in the ground quickly for a house sale. They found plants with color (in February no less) and designed the whole front bed to look great! They even mowed my lawn, mulched the other beds I had and did a little trimming so my house had fabulous curb appeal! I would highly recommend them!

Weather made it hard to find a mutually acceptable day, but once the guys made it out they did a fantastic job! Three hard workers spent a full day blowing, raking, and gathering leaves as well as cleaning up some landscaping around the house. Lou and Charlie were great about working with me to figure out just what I wanted to have done for what amount, and then they delivered! This is an excellent, service-focused company and they are a pleasure to work with.

Lou was short staffed due to the flu, but he and 1 other gentleman came out right before Christmas. They were very thorough and did a great job. We will definitely use Hall's Landscaping again in the Spring.

Landscaping drainage, to get the water away from the house, they installed some new drains. They were good! Price was reasonable. They are very thorough and went through all these explanations of what was needed to be done. They went above and beyond about cleaning up the materials and not leaving a mess and stuff like that. It took just one day.

It went great! Hall's does a very thorough job and they are very easy to work with. They even came on an earlier day than they said they'd be able to (checking with us first, of course). We've used them before and will use them again.

Working with Lou and his team was great -- we weren't quite sure what we wanted at first, and Lou was very patient in working with me. We communicated on email and he was always prompt and responsive. Once we decided just to do the front yard for now, Lou helped us select the right plants for size of yard (small) and sun exposure. The team arrived on time to do the work and were extremely professional and took great care in their work. Would highly recommend Halls Landscaping and definitely use them again!

I picked them based on the write ups and reviews from Angie's List. It took them 4 days to finish everything because it was a huge job. They had said that they really specialize in customer service so he came out and gave us a quote, and then he and I went back and forth with emails. He sent an entire huge list of everything he was going to do even including the color of the mulch so it was really specific. The guys came and just clicked it off one by one. They got it all done. He walked around before he gave me the quote. It was not like they would just say they would come and do work. I like to see somebody have a list of like 20 items which was everything we discussed, and it was in black and white. If I'm going to do some landscaping, I'm going to use them out in my house. I thought the price was really reasonable. They also gave her a 15% combination of Angie's List plus senior's discount. it was $400 which was great. Considering all the work that they did, I thought it was going to be in the $3,000 range so when I saw $2265, I was like, yes let's do this. I've only seen them in pictures but the pictures I saw were great. I haven't been able to drive down there. They were very responsive. He got back to me in emails. They were right on time. They gave us an hour window and they showed up exactly halfway between. When it was Friday and it was raining, they talked to me on Thursday and said they might be there but if it's going to be raining in the morning then they won't so we were able to work that out too. He listened to what we were looking for and in some of the items, he made some recommendations and said why. He really had good suggestions.

Our experience was very positive. Lou responded within one day to my inquiry, via email. Because the area to be covered by sod was small, we were able to do the estimate by email, and Lou was very prompt in providing his estimate. He then installed the sod exactly when he said he would, and the results are beautiful - the lawn has never looked better.

Splendidly. After talking with Robert, I felt I could trust him to reimagine my small patio space and am completely delighted with the result. They went above and beyond.
