+ -1 moreAs for the workers, it was a two man team and we knew from the first day it would be a good relationship when I came home from work after they’d demoed our old kitchen and there wasn’t a speck of dust or debris anywhere to be found. My husband, who works from home, said every time he walked by, they seemed to be sweeping or cleaning up after themselves. The workers were very friendly, respectful and hardworking. If they were running late, they called. If they ran into a problem, they brought it to us right away. They never asked for anything and we felt completely comfortable and safe with them in our house. When the kitchen was done, we actually hired Greenrock on to do some additional projects as well since their craftsmanship was so outstanding. They were so precise in everything they did and we still marvel at areas where we know something was done (ie: drywall replaced) and yet we can’t tell because it was so expertly handled. We highly recommend Greenrock and we look forward to renovating some more rooms with their help in the future.
Description of Work: When we set out to renovate our kitchen, I got 3 separate referrals for the project. Greenrock came in as not only the least expensive, but was also the easiest to work with. Unlike some of the other companies, Greenrock’s contract was just two pages and outlined everything we requested with a flat price listed, skipping all the legalese for clarity and efficiency. Jeff (the Managing Partner) also encouraged us to purchase some of the materials ourselves (paint, garbage disposal, etc) in order to keep our costs down and get exactly what we wanted. Jeff takes a lot of pride in his company and visited the site many times to check the progress, look for potential errors that even we would have missed, and to just generally make sure we were happy with the project. He also provided his own personal suggestions based on his years of experience whenever we asked about a new project or changes to the current one. Anytime we had a question or concern with any area of the project, we were able to call and get it resolved right away.
