I would not use them again.

I contacted Jeff Jones last fall to complete a walkway project. After meeting with him and receiving an estimate, my wife and I put a 50% deposit on the project. Unfortunately, as the weather changed and the tempurature dipped below 32, Jeff could not get the project in before winter. While Jeff did agree to shred my deposit and schedule the project as Spring approached this year, he was unresponsive when I tried to contact him this Spring and upon contacting his parter, Jeff Reynolds, I received a one sentence answer that they were no longer interested in my project. Upon contacting them again to inquire what had changed and whether they would consider coming back out to the house to "re-quote" the project, I was met with silence...no return phone call or email. While I had a relatively small project, I was very disappointed that the partners in this seemingly good company could not return my calls or emails to simply explain why my project and more importantly, my money, was not important to them. It seems like in a declining economy, reputable companies would want to reward customers with exemplary customer service, even if they decided against taking a project. In this case, they not only lost a customer (by their own choosing), but countless referrals in the area. Overall, I can say I am still disappointed Custom Stonescaping turned their back on my project without an explanation and treated my wife and I with little regard.

I took the time to interview 5 different companies for this job. But for this job, by far this company had the most creative & lovely suggestions for our patio & firepit project. The owner was professional & precise in his meetings with us. and his quote/estimate was clearly well thought out. And fair. Others interviewed either pulled a number out of the sky and or had scauty non-specific details about work proposed.

Jeff Jones now has his own company: Classic Stonescaping and Gardens. Stonescaping built a 4.5 foot stone/boulder retaining wall along our 100 foot driveway which included needed drainage. Additionally, we had built a matching dry stack wall in front of the house. Both walls were beautifully done with a tiered natural look. Further, the work included leveling the yard, sodding and plantings. The work was done in four days and Jeff Jones the owner was agreeable for any changes we wanted during the process. This project was started by a less than reputable contractor 8 months ago and the county was involved with permit issues. This company took care of all issues in four days. The walls are better than we expected and all the neighbors have stopped by to compliment the work. We would highly recommend!

Excellent job. My backyard is a very steep hill and erosion has increased over the past few years due to heavy rains and lack of landscaping. I knew I needed to do something and had different suggestions over the past year, but no one was looking at the big picture. When Jeff came by he looked at my hill and yard from an aesthetic as well as a utilitarian perspective. Yes, the hill needs to be held back and the rain redirected, but it could also look nice at the same time. We haven't had a deluge yet for me to test out the water flow but at least I feel like I have done what I can to help myself! When I had some fence work done a week or so later, the owner of that company remarked on what a beautiful job had been done on my backyard. Seemed like the highest praise!

They are really fair priced. They come out on site and give you an estimate. They draw out the work to be done. I used them to do the back. They came back and did the front. They did include some pavers and flag stones. They also did stack stones, it's where they have to fit the stones together before stacking it. I would use them again and plan on it. I would recommend them to others. I was very pleased with them.

Based on recommendations from friends and neighbors, I expect to be retaining this company to remodel an outbuilding I use for storage and to upgrade some landscaping.

Jeff called back quickly, gave us a comprehensive and detailed plan, and was able to start the job within a week. The project was done in less than a day and looks great. They even added extra mulch and soil to the part of our yard that had been destroyed when we had to dig up our sewer line. Aside from needing the grass to grow, our front yard looks better than ever.

I apologize, but the exact price for the work doesn't come to mind, but I felt it was definitely fair and reasonable. They did a fabulous job. We have very unique looking siding on our house and the house also sits in a strange position on the lot, which goes down a steep hill. They were very creative coming up with a design that would look great with both of these obstacles.

While it was difficult to get in contact with them, the design was exactly what we wanted. Their advice on how the patio should be built helped to control the costs. The team doing the installation was absolutely excellent, and personable.
