Decorate A Vet is a Non-Profit 501(c)3 dedicated to assisting our nation's veterans to make repairs, beautify the outside of their homes and yards, and decorate for holidays. In the December 2011 issue of Angie's List Magazine, Jeff and Decorate A Vet was featured as a partner with Angie's List Wishmakers Program. This relationship between Jeff's contracting business and Angie's List has been very productive in helping Decorate A Vet renovate it's Veterans homes ( http://magazine.angieslist.com/contractors/articles/wishmakers-connects-contractors-homeowners-in-need.aspx ). In April 2012 Jeff was the recipient of the James S. Elkin Award for Humanitarianism, presented by the Falls Church Chamber of Commerce for his work in establishing Decorate A Vet. In October 2012, Jeff was honored by the Greater Falls Church Veterans Council as our community's "Veteran's Best Friend - 2012".

This is simple: It's really hard to resolve a problem that you don't know exists. If the system was causing some problem, why not email to see how we can amicably resolve the problem? Wouldn't all the top ratings lead you to believe we would help resolve this? Never once notified but would have certainly replaced the miniature system we installed or certainly refunded the value. That's why we have warranties. By the way, this is the same system we have installed for half of the other +\-180 AAA ratings we have received here on Angies List.

Description of Work: We hired Jeff Jones' firm to do a major flagstone patio and landscaping project. |First, they tore down our 700 sq. ft. wood deck. Then they began the major project of build |ing three successive retaining walls to get our flagstone patio at the level we wanted it. |I believe they hauled in around 90,000 pounds of stone, boulders, gravel, etc. |The 6 man crew was excellent. They worked hard, they worked smart, and they worked in good spirits. |We really enjoyed interacting with them every day they were here. They would do small things we requested instantly - and do them well. |The end result was magnificent. The stone work is masterful and beautiful. The waterfall is so dramatic. And the landscaping beautiful. |We LOVE our new flagstone patio -- and all its richly varied boulder and landscaped surroundings |If you want an excellent patio done in a thoroughly professional, craftsmanlike way, hire Classic Stonescaping.

Description of Work: Classic Stonescaping veneered the house foundation with natural stone. Two concrete walkways were replaced with Pennsylvania fieldstone. The asphalt driveway was replaced with a Techo-Bloc permeable paver system. The house was beautifully transformed by this project which was done in a very professional manner. It was well worth the cost.

Description of Work: I am new to Angie's List, but Jeff and Alex designed and set a beautiful fieldstone patio at our home in March of 2011. Jeff took time to work with me on the design to meet our budget, and the finished patio was exactly what we had in mind - it looks as if it was meant to be part of our backyard all along. Jeff and Alex are true professionals at their craft I highly recommend them.
