We had an addition done and needed to redo our back patio. Jeff gave us a plan which we really liked. The work began on schedule and was completed within 2 1/2 days. The team was very efficient! I asked about moving a couple azaleas and they were replanted within 20 minutes. Any question I had was answered. They cleaned up the site after and left it in great condition. We were very pleased with the final result and will use Classic for other projects in the future. I highly recommend them!!
Description of Work: We had a patio and stone wall built in the back.

The project started with an onsite visit to assess and discuss the project. This was followed by with a written contract for project and a subsequent visit to Classic's office to review actual paver block material. We agreed to a date for the project start and we were within a few days of that when the project work began. The total project from start to finish took about 3 1/2 days. The project team ( there is only one in the company and they work continuously from one project to the next ) was very experienced and worked very well together. The onsite project manager consulted me at least daily and whenever a decision had to be made. the project went along very smoothly. at it completion I had a concern about the width of one side of the driveway and the team returned the next day and spent several hours accommodating my wishes without hesitation. I think that Classic did an excellent job and all of my neighbors think that as well.
Description of Work: The services included the removal of two layers of blacktop, excavating about 16 inches of soil, removal of all debris, and excavate and install concrete footing for a retaining wall on one side of the driveway. This was followed by the installation of 12 inches of 21A gravel in two 6 inch layers, tamping, followed by the installation of a 2 inch layer of coarse sand. This was followed by the installation of BLU 80 mm aged sandlewood concrete paver blocks. At each step the filler was pounded so that it was compacted and level with proper drainage.

Jeff and his team were punctual in coming out to discuss what was needed. A detailed estimate was provided in a timely manner. The workers showed up on time and completed the job professionally including cleaning up. All three items (parking, walkway and wall) came out very nice and we love having the extra room and walkway.
Description of Work: Jeff and his team added a brick paver extension onto our driveway and added a walkway from there to our deck. They also rebuilt a stone retaining wall our front that was falling down from a poor initial build and added a landscaped area around the stone pavers and wall to prevent running into it.

Wow! What a transformation! When I first met with Jeff, we discussed the issues with the yard and what I was looking for. He understood immediately and had great recommendations that improved on my thoughts dramatically. He drew up plans and got them back to me. I loved everything he proposed! And the result was even better than the drawing. I now have a gorgeous, usable back yard that all my friends love to share with me. The crew were on time, worked really hard, cleaned up after themselves and were great to work with! I will definitely call on Jeff for all of my future landscaping needs!

We both absolutely loved Jeff's conceptual design plan, which came to us in a professional drawing with color and shaded areas, and included pictures of different steps and walkways and dry stacked Fieldstone walls he had done in the past, to give us ideas. He also had recommended different materials (Techo Bloc pavers and Rocka steps, and Pennsylvania Field Stone), which would affect the cost. The design was gorgeous! Beauty and color are very important to me and I was set on creating a more feminine feel in the front landscaping to offset the more masculine design of our contemporary house. My husband had his heart set on dry stacked Pennsylvania flagstone walls. Jeff listened to both us and incorporated both of our wishes in the design and plant suggestions he presented. He designed the walkway and beds with graceful curves and created a lovely, curved dry stacked Pennsylvania Fieldstone wall/bench on the walkway against the house. We both fell in love with the bench idea! Jeff also designed, for the left yard and the side of the house, stone groupings and interesting plantings, and a graceful stepping stone path and bed for Knock out Roses or flowers of my choice against the house, with other plants/bushes he recommended. For the back, he deigned a dry stacked Pennsylvania Fieldstone wall at the end of the area under our 50ft deck, to be filled and leveled with dirt and back filled with River Rock. This helped address one of the erosion problems, which the stepping stone path from the side also addressed in coming around to the deck steps. For the erosion problems in the front, Jeff planned to create a Fieldstone wall around the end of a bed containing a Japanese Maple and Dogwood to be back filled with dirt where it has eroded, exposing roots. For the overhang water issue he deigned a catch basin with rocks and a buried downspout with pop up drain. Since this year we had to take down a huge Sugar Maple tree because of borers, we asked him for a re-design to include sodding and a reshaping of the front bed, which now will have full sun so we can do a wider variety of plants and flowers. Jeff worked very hard with us to come in at our original budgeted amount. However, with the economy still so uncertain and my husband retiring next year, we have since had to greatly reduce our budget and do much less this year. We wish we could do the full design plan. Jeff's is our favorite design and the best bid we have obtained from three top landscaping/stonescaping companies. Plus he is a great guy and really easy to work with. We would choose him in a heartbeat!
Description of Work: My husband and I met with Jeff after the Home and Garden show in 2012, and then again this year, to discuss the extensive work we want done on our property in front and back yards. We were very impressed with him both times, how personable and responsive he was, as well as impressed with the creative ideas and solutions he proposed while walking our property with us. We requested a professional design and bid to include: replacing a porch landing and steps that have sunk 3-4 inches and replace the entire walkway; totally re-landscape the front and one side of our property; correct major erosion problems we have in the front and back yards from being situated downhill from 3 houses (when it rains), as well as solve an issue of splashing mud and water damage from rain water pouring off the overhang of our porch. We also wanted the design to include a water feature in the back yard.

A cornerstone of the school's creative learning approach (embedding environmentally-based education in all of our curricula), the Outdoor Classroom is an interior courtyard of the school, bordered by classrooms and the school library. Consequently, we required special care in transporting materials from the exterior drop off point, through the school hallway, and outside to the courtyard; the use of heavy machinery (e.g. bobcats, forklifts, etc.) was expressly prohibited. Further, the design and installation required adherence to Fairfax County Public School (FCPS) provisions for facilities - safety, maintenance, equipment, materials, and layout. The project was funded entirely by the school community, via the sale of individual, engraved (permeable) bricks that were also used to pave the patio. To date, it is the single largest fundraiser in the history of this Distinguished Title I school and includes contributions from students, teachers, staff, neighbors, alumni, and a select few local businesses. Jeff Jones was very supportive of the community effort, offering an excellent price, bringing to life another designer's vision, working with a distant and uncertain timetable (so that we had time to raise the money), and donating a custom outdoor firepit as an incentive to those who bought engraved bricks. Further, Jeff and his team worked closely with the PTA, school principal, and environmental learning specialist to accommodate academic instruction times (including a fast-track installation during Spring Break) and protect prior work and planting done by students and the community. Of the ~3000 bricks required for the patio, only ~120 were engraved and a different color. Jeff placed these bricks at the center of the oval and created a lovely aesthetic to highlight the engraved bricks, while maintaining the functionality of the patio. Children and adults alike delight in finding their bricks in our patio - and each one has ample room to shine! Jeff has also agreed to help us as we add more engraved bricks over time to ensure that we preserve the stability of the bricks, permeability of the patio, and the overall aesthetic. Our Outdoor Classroom is at the leading edge for FCPS - what we've done to date, how we use it in our every day curricula, and how our community came together to fund it. Jeff and his team transformed a partially-executed vision into an inviting space that staff and students enjoy and use liberally. In fact, immediately upon completion of the hardscaping, so many classes wanted to use the space, that the school had to institute a 'sign-up' schedule so everyone could access and benefit from the space a community built. Jeff Jones and Classic Stonescaping made that possible via price, quality, patience, and a high degree of professionalism.
Description of Work: Prepare land, excavate soil, remove sod, and install all hardscaping for new Outdoor Classroom at local elementary school. Project included creation of 2 ADA-compliant, crushed stone walkways, 2 dirt/mulch paths, and ~650 sq ft oval patio area. Patio was made of permeable bricks which require very specific bituminous process to assure both stability of the bricks and permeability. All part of school's ongoing commitment to being an Eco-School. (Total project cost: $14,000, including cost of bricks)

They showed up on time and got all the work done in two days. They also did all the "extras" that I did not ask for nor expect, like digging up the azaleas around the deck and putting them aside and replanting around the patio when they were done. They also disposed of the old deck furniture for me. All i can say is the price was right, Jeff's crew showed up on time and completed the job in record time! The work was exemplary - used high quality materials and WE LOVE THE NEW PATIO. I would highly recommend these guys and we didnt know them at all...just picked them off Angie's List and all was good!!!

Classic Stonescaping did a beautiful job with both the steps and walk way. They arrived the day they promised and completed the work very quickly. Jeff has a great design sense, really listened to what I wanted, and delivered something even better than I had hoped for. He even added some stone scaping and a small raised flower bed that were not in the original plan to help with the transition along my front walkway. He also came up with a subtle and lovely lighting system for the steps. The foreman and crew were polite, patient, and very responsive to my questions and requests. We have had many compliments from neighbors and passersby and even saw one neighbor out taking a photo. Very pleased with the work.

We contacted Classic Stonescaping in December of 2012 to design and execute a landscaping and hardscaping project on our yard. After two meetings, we received a preliminary (written) proposal without any design or drawing in early March, with the promise of a design once we confirmed the written description. We responded approximately one week later with minor changes and requesting a drawing. That was almost two months ago, and we have not heard anything else but empty promises from Jeff at Classic Stonescaping. Needless to say, we did not use this company. If you want to use this company, I would suggest planning at leat a year ahead.
Description of Work: No services were performed at all. We spent six months just trying to get a design and were never even able to get that.

Response from Classic Stonescaping & Gardens LLC
We are truly sorry for his feelings of frustration but our process is happily reviewed in the other 100 reviews here on Angie's List. We feel they speak for themselves. There are a few items that are not clear in the customers description that need to be clarified; 1) The six months he mentions includes time the [member name removed] "paused" the entire project tracking down carpenters for their front porch renovation. I had originally met with them in the fall of 2012 and was happy to hang tight until they had their details worked out. 2) The project was back on-line in February 2013 and we met with them right away. 3) A proposal was immediately sent in March and we mailed a follow up contract for review in April. 4) We never received the signed contract or deposit for the proposed work. 5) In spite of this, (5) days in the june schedule were dedicated for the [member name removed], since early April. 6) With (5) weeks remaining to June, design details were in planning as we discussed. Not sure what happened but I'm assuming they must have a more cost effective option and wish them the best of luck on their project.

This was our second time using Classic Stonescaping & Gardens. Just like the first time, the work that was done far exceeded my expectations. Jeff and his crew came up with the concept and solved a 10 year old problem. No longer will the family have to walk through dirt/mud to get into the house. The comments from the neighbors have been glowing. Jeff also suggested a local paving company, which we are equally happy with.

Exceptionally well--from initial meeting, Jeff listened to what we wanted, helped us design the project and then implemented what we wanted. There are only Dos. Hire Jeff if you want a high quality, fairly priced stone and landscaping project.
Description of Work: Jeff helped us redesign our back patio and living space. He put in a beautiful new retaining wall and stone seating area, as well as re-did the flagstone patio. He also put in lighting and prepared garden beds for plantings he recommended, all to compliment the patio design and the rest of the back yard. Jeff is highly professional and very easy to work with. His team is also professional and clearly dedicated to doing an exceptional job. They not only did amazing work--very detailed and complete, they made sure everything was cleaned up when they left. They arrived when they said they would and completed the project in a very timely manner. We found his cost to be very reasonable for the work they did. We are delighted with our new back yard, thanks to Jeff and his team.

After a couple of meetings to set up the project, we were given a start date for the following month. Shortly before that date, we were contacted and work began as scheduled. Once the job was done (two days), I asked for some changes, and those revisions were completed a few days later at no extra charge. Alex Straker was our contact person and ran the overall project. He's always prompt, careful, and pleasant, and he has good suggestions for changes to our original idea. The crew worked steadily and very quickly and left the job site clean and looking great. My husband and I were very impressed with the work that was done and the professionalism exhibited by everyone on the project. The company's owner even came by one evening to refit a drain pipe (at least I think that is what he did!). You have to book a bit in advance because the company is fairly busy, and I can see why. They do excellent work and we plan on using their services again for our front and side yards. Classic Stonescaping is excellent!
Description of Work: Classic Stonescaping leveled our very uneven back yard, removing all old grass, bits and pieces of concrete from previous patios and structures, and covered most of the yard in blue-grey stones. Two small areas of sod were also put in, trees and shrubs were trimmed, and the plant beds around the perimeter of the yard were mulched. The overall effect is of a modified Japanese-style garden that is really beautiful. We love it!

Once the contract was signed, the work proceeded on schedule with no issues. I met the owner, Jeff Jones, and the crew on day one and we discussed final requirements. I requested that additional stones be placed around the stepping stones at the back of my yard to keep the area from getting muddy when it rains and the crew accommodated my request. They worked in cold, rainy February conditions and I absolutely love the results. Wish it were warmer so I could get out and start using the patio!
Description of Work: I first met with Jeff Jones in November 2012 to get an estimate for putting stonework and fieldstone flower beds in my back yard. He was busy with orders and a non-profit event so I didn't hear back until January 2013. At that point he came out again and gave me an estimate. I was ready to move forward and went with his company because it is local and the estimate looked good.

Jeff Jones was responsive and professional. He was on time for the estimate appointment, and spent the time to talk with me about what my goals were for the project. The crew was on-time for project start, and were all professionals. They worked efficiently and did a good job. I work from home and was able to observe their work and progress throughout the day. They were always hard working and professional. Jeff was on-site often and always available for questions. They finished the job within the estimated time frame, and did a good job cleaning up when they were done. I am satisfied with Classic Stonescaping and Gardens overall. Their stone walls and landscaping are well done, look great, and have been holding up very well. The drainage system they installed has been well tested by now, and has done everything it was designed for. There were some things that were less than perfect: the sod looked stressed when it was laid down (I think the roots dried out on it before they got it down), and there are areas that never greened in, and will need to be fixed. To be fair, I did let Jeff know and he responded immediately and requested pictures, which I never got to him, so I dropped the ball on that. I do plan to follow up with him, and given the rest of my experience with him and his company, I'm sure he'll make things right. The other issue was the plants were delivered on a Friday afternoon, and many of them dried out over the weekend. For most of the plants this ended up not being an issue; they greened right up and did fine the rest of the summer. There were a couple that I'm not sure about, but Jeff said to see if they leaf out and appear healthy in the spring. If they don't, he'll replace them. Overall I'm pleased with the company and their work, and would certainly hire them again.

New to the area, we knew generally what we were looking for in terms of creating a welcoming outdoor space but were uncertain as to whether we could interest a company in such a small scale project. Through Angies List, we found this company which was so highly rated that we were compelled to make the call. We contacted the owner Jeff Jones by email for an initial consultation. He responded almost immediately and worked with me to schedule a design consultation at my convenience, accommodating my more than full time work schedule. I knew generally what I wanted and the budget within I was willing to work. Jeff listened to my "wish list" and recommended appropriate changes in design and plantings to optimize a small space and maximize growth in this climate (we moved from the northeast and some of my "wish list" would have been unlikely to survive the VA summers -- even in the shade). His crew is composed of all direct employees - no subs or one day laborers. They appeared at precisely 7 AM on each of the 3 day installation. He and his foreman accompanied them for demolition of the existing materials on the first day and his foreman remained throughout the duration of the three day job. They were courteous and respectful of our neighbors' property and our own, minimizing traffic through private spaces, utilizing common areas and cleaning up as though the place was their own. Because the work was done in January, one of the products to seal spaces between the flagstones would not properly cure. He explained this up front and is scheduled to return as soon as overnight temperatures are sufficient for the necessary curing. He even understood our desire to spread the related costs of the project and promised to return if necessary to better customize the grill station once the grill was installed (it was installed today and his measurements based upon the photos and specs we provided in advance resulted in a perfect fit). We are also interested in replacing boundary fencing in the spring and he has promised to return at no cost to cut stones if necessary to accommodate the fencing at time of installation. This experience was so positive that I not only heartily endorse Jeff and his entire crew, but I plan to make him our first guest for the christening bottle of wine consumed on the patio in the spring. We cannot wait to start enjoying this lovely outdoor space.

The project generally went very well and the results are excellent. Jeff met with me several months before the work started to review the design. He followed my design closely, but made suggestions based on field condtions and the new deck that only improved the project. He proposed a "boulder wall " in one location in lieu of a formal wall, which turned out to be the right choice. I agreed to precast steps up to my lawn, but once in place, I did not like them. His guys switched them out with large natural stone slabs at now additional cost. Classic uses only thier own crew,so the same guys showed up every day promptly. Alex, the crew foreman was there every morning. They worked incredibly hard, digging foundations by hand and moving materials in wheelbarrows. The work was done right. The foundations for the retaining walls were the appropriate depth. the concrete block back up was well done, and all the stone was set nicely. If something was not working quite right, they would re-do it until it was. The lights he used are high quality solid brass LED units and qualtiy commercial tranformers - not Home Depot quality stuff. Do be prepared for a bit of a mess. The truck deliveries put some ruts in my neighbors front yard ( due to an unusual shared driveway arrangement), but Steve had them filled in and sodded. He also offered my neighbors car wash cards for the dust created during the work. There was a great deal of fine dust created by cutting stone which was not expected.Leaf blowers usually remove the dust, but for some reason, it really stuck to my windows, vinyl siding and new deck. In the end, Steve split the cost of power washing the entire house and deck with me, and I was satisfied with the solution. He was a bit hard to get a hold of toward the end of the job, hence the one B mark, but otherwise, I feel I got my money's worth. The work looks fantastic and truly elevates the level of our home.Everyone who sees it is impressed. I would not hesitate to hire them again or recommend them to anyone looking for excellent stone work at a fair price.
Description of Work: Jeff and his team did two large projects for us. A new front patio with lighting and a basement walk out patio with stone clad retaining walls, a fire pit, and lighting. I had a design worked out , and he used my drawings to provide a detailed estimate. Jeff had several suggestions that saved a great deal of time and money. On the front patio, he suggested laying the bluestone over the existing slab, instead of demolishing and replacing it. For the back patio, he felt it was not necessary to pour a new slab for the patio. He planned to demolish the old, cracked and sinking slab and provide a new base of crushed stone and stone dust. This worked out just fine. The price for all the new work was very fair. We also had a new ipe deck done by another firm, Core Outdoor, that he recommended. Both are on Angies List. Jeff and his team came in after the deck was built. We added a few items to the contract ,such as a drain line to the back of my property, and a dry laid stone retaining wall for trash area. These were done at a very reasonable price. Classic will install lighting, but they ask that a GFCI outlet be provided. My outdoor outlets were very old and not up to code, so I hired an electrician who works for Classic and Core to upgrade my outlets and provide a new one for the basement patio. His work was only a couple of hundred dollars. Jeff also did some extra work not in the contract at no additional charge, such as a couple of large step stones where one of the retaining walls ended, and switching out precast steps for large rocks.

Jeff was knowledgable, listened to what we wanted and provided a great estimate for the exact work we were looking for. Other contractors we recieved estimates from were much more expensive and wanting to do additional work we did not need or want. Jeff was really great to work and communicate with... very fast responses to any questions or concerns. The crew was terrific and even did some extra's - like straigtening up the lawn near the curb. We are very happy with the work and will be contacting Jeff again in the future.
Description of Work: Removed old concrete front walkway and layed down new flagstone walkway. Flagstone veneer front stoop. Removed a good number of the original bushes and small trees around the house - transplanted some bushes to the back yard. Built up soil and mulch for irrigation away from house and planted new bushes/plants. Extended downspot to popop away from house.

Jeff Jones and his team at Classic Stonescaping built a beautiful new patio and stone bench in our back yard. The work was scheduled within a week of our signing, it was complete in less than 2 days, and thank's to Jeff's advice regarding design and materials, it turned out better than we expected. The workers were reliable and they didn't seem to mind our barking dogs! All in all a great experience and result.

We could not be more pleased with the work performed by Jeff, Alex and the rest of his team! Jeff listened to our vision for the backyard and had some great suggestions (like widening the stairs) that really added to the functionality and design of our backyard. Unlike some of the other estimates we received, Jeff provided us a detailed drawing of the design so that we could really envision how our backyard would look. The crew arrived promptly on the starting date and were polite and professional. Both Alex and Jeff checked in with us regularly to make sure we were happy with the progress of the work. The crew finished on schedule and we could not be more pleased with the transformation in our backyard! Jeff and his crew really went above and beyond with every detail to make sure we were happy.

Two years after having my stacked stone wall rebuilt by Classic Stonescaping, the wall partially collapsed. I called Jeff Jones on June 22, 2015 and the call went to voice mail. His message says the best way to get in touch with him is by email. That same day I sent a note to Jeff asking when we could discuss repairing the wall. No response from Jeff. I followed up on July 2, 2015 to see when he would be available to discuss. Jeff responded that he was away on vacation, but would be able to discuss once he returned on July 13. Once again, no response from Jeff that entire week. On July 21, I again asked when he would be available to discuss. This time, Jeff sent a one sentence response on July 23: "What is your address.?" I provided my address that day. I have no idea when or if Jeff has stopped by my home to view the damage, and have not heard from him since. This does not seem like the level of professionalism required to receive a Super Service Award.
Description of Work: I have a two-tiered stone retaining wall in my yard. The top tier partially collapsed after Superstorm Sandy. Classic Stonescaping took down most of top tier and bottom tier of the wall and reconstructed the wall.

Outstanding work from the design to the execution. Jeff Jones gave us great advice on how best to lay-out and construct the walkway and make use of the flagstones we already had for another storage pad. The workers were skilled and efficient, completing the entire project swiftly.

We are extremely satisfied with Jeff's work. Both Jeff and his employees are extremely courteous and responsive. Any issues that came up were resolved in a timely manner. We have received many compliments on our patio and we are thoroughly enjoying it. We have also been very pleased that Jeff has replaced plants that didn't do well in our yard. We highly recommend Jeff and we will be happy to hire his company again in the future.

The initial consultation with Jeff Jones was very collaborative. We discussed my vision for the patio and he made suggestions. He gave me several options to consider. After this meeting Jeff produced a drawing of the patio and listed project options and costs. We signed a contract and he gave me a projected start date. The crew did a great job: they finished ahead of schedule and the patio is beautiful. The whole project from start to finish was thoroughly professional and easy.
Description of Work: Classic Stonescaping designed and installed a flagstone patio for my backyard. The design included consideration of mature plants already on site. Installation included placement of flagstone on existing concrete surface as well as extending patio on to turf area. The design was random squares and rectangular flagstones with a beautiful sweeping curved edge. The project also included a beautifully constructed stacked stone planter to keep a large climbing rose bush.

From start to finish (and beyond), our expectations were exceeded. I would wholeheartedly agree with a previous reviewer that these guys really know what they're doing and you should trust their recommendations. I got the sense that they truly cared about making our project look good and it paid off. These guys are pros in what they do in every sense of the word. Alex was really great to work with. Very professional, knowledgeable, and extremely responsive over the phone and/or email. He responded to our many questions very quickly always showed up on time (and even scheduled weekend appointments to accommodate our schedules). During the sales process he came out twice (once even on crutches!) to walk the site and spray paint the area to give us a better picture of the final product. When the project began, the crew showed up very early in the morning and truly hustled throughout the job. Really, they sprint with their full wheelbarrows! They finished the job ahead of schedule and were even delayed by rain one day (they also did work through the rain most of the day). Alex (project manager) kept us very informed and involved throughout the build to make sure that what was being built was exactly what we wanted. Even after the job was done, we had questions about what specific plants would look best in our new planting bed and he offered to meet us at Meadows Farms (free of charge) to assist us in picking out plants with his expertise. Furthermore, to give a sense of the type of customer service you will receive, we decided to stain our deck (above our patio) about 6 weeks after the job was done. We accidentally spilled some stain on our new patio. I reached out to Alex to see if they had any extra pavers leftover to replace the stained ones from the spill. Not only did he offer to get us some new pavers (again free of charge) but actually came out to replace them for us in his spare time (yes, still free of charge). This type of customer service is above and beyond my experience with any other contractor. And this is the exactly how you will be taken care of before, during, and after your project. Most importantly, the patio that was built is superb. If you are looking for a quality product, built to your exact desires and beyond, coupled with great customer service, look no further. I would recommend Classic Stonescaping to anyone!
Description of Work: Classic built a beautiful patio beyond our expectations. They installed approximately 800 square feet of pavers with a fieldstone wall from a Pocono fieldstone (length about 15 feet). They also piped out the sump pump and three downspouts. Additionally, they installed a bench around the circumference of the patio with flagstone caps for seating. Lastly a fire pit was installed with Pocono fieldstone and flagstone caps. Around the patio, a new planting was created. The bed will has two stepping stone access points to allow easy access to the back and side yards.

Response from Classic Stonescaping & Gardens LLC
Thank you again for hiring Classic Stonescaping for your patio project. We are very happy with the outcome and were pleased we could help with the little fix required from the spilled stain. I must say, our calves are still tender from the uphill push on the wheelbarrows. Hope you guys have a great Christmas season.

Great, started on time, finished on time for the price quoted and I am extremely pleased with the results.
Description of Work: We had a 13'x13' foot turnaround area installed in our front yard ... our driveway exits onto a busy road and backing out is uncomfortable. Although it was a small job Alex came over and spent a good deal of time talking through the project and discussing options. We settled on size, location, and materials and he provided me an estimated starting date. Alex and his crew did start about a week late but given the fact that the storm of the century came through I was impressed with their timeliness and communication. I have about 5 years experience as a professional landscaper in a previous life and can assure you their work is high quality.
