Description of Work: The deadbolt on my front door was broken. It was in the "locked" position, so I could not open my front door....either from inside or outside my house. Rather strange experience. I called in the morning and they came within a few hours. The fellow was very knowledgeable....took the deadbolt apart and fixed it; I did not have to buy a new unit. Also checked/serviced the deadbolt into the garage, which works off the same key. Also gave me advice about a product to use on deadbolts (rather than WD40). Was very helpful.

Description of Work: They saved me approx. $150 by telling me that I could install the new deadbolt and doorknob I bought. I asked them to install, it but they were right, I was able to do it myself! I wound up spending about $15 with them instead.....making me new keys! I appreciate their honesty and there encouragement. (not to mention saving me a bundle)

Description of Work: They repaired locks so that they could be easily used. They made keys on site and gave me information I enabled me to have additional keys made, if needed. The locks work perfectly now. I was afraid I might have to have the locks replaced, but that was not necessary. Saved a lot.

Description of Work: Arlington Lock repaired the front door and tool shed locks which were worn and corroded to the point of being unusable. We were able to keep the same keys and now the locks work fine. He also adjusted another door bolt so it works much more smoothly. He advised about different options and did just what we needed. The locks have worked fine since then.

Description of Work: Dog walker lost my house key on a Friday. The next morning Arlington Lock installed an electronic keypad. They also rekeyed the deadbolt and installed a new front door handle.

Description of Work: I bent my car key trying to unlock the doors when the locks were frozen, and the key wouldn't work in the ignition. Arlington Lock very kindly straitened out the key for me and didn't charge anything.

Description of Work: We lost one of the keys to our 2009 Nissan, so we went to Arlington Lock to make a new one. Ultimately, they weren't able to help, but it wasn't their fault - Nissan entered the wrong microchip number in their database, and it didn't match the one for our key/car. They'd have to take off the entire front dash to get to the number, which would have been a mess. We're going to try and get the dealer to make it right. However, Arlington Lock tried their very best and were very apologetic about it. They made us a key fob that we can use to get in the car, just not drive it. We'd definitely use them again.

Description of Work: I needed them to adjust a deadbolt recently installed on one of my doors. They found that the lock, which had been rekeyed at [a "big box" home improvement store], had been done incorrectly. Arlington Lock made the adjustment and fixed everything.
