We have used this company to replace all of our windows and doors. However because of the price we did have to break it out into parts. Ameritech worked with us though giving us the best deal that we could afford each time and we had the peace of mind knowing our home was safe.

From Timmy the sales person to Mark the installer, everything went very well. I will use them again when the need presents itself. Couldn't ask for a more professional company.

Wonderful. The Ameritech salesman was prompt, professional and courteous. In my opinion he set the workmen up to fail with all the promises he made, boy was I wrong. From the office staff and my initial contact, to the salesmen, to the the workman they met and exceeded our expectation. The workmen treated my home as it was their own and completed the work within the promised time frame. They even honored my request to remove the scaffolding each night before they left the job site. They left my house cleaner than it was before the job started. The house looks wonderful and almost new. Thanks Ameritech for a job well done.

The crew that completed the 9 window replacement was finished in about 8 hours. They were polite, professional and worked well as a team. They completed the task of removing the windows and cleaning up the frame openings. The crew removed their shoes in the house and worked as quiet as could be expected in replacing the windows. The weather was cooperative and the work was completed in the late afternoon. We appreciated their expertise and efficient work ethic. All debris outside of the house was cleaned up and windows were checked to make sure they were in perfect working order.

When calling I asked if they could install Anderson windows. They said they could so I set up an appointment. The first appointment they missed. They did not call me to tell me that they were not coming. Rather, I called them and they said they could not make it at the scheduled time and could not reschedule for later that day. At that time I reconfirmed that they could install Anderson windows and rescheduled appointment for the next day. The next day the sales person came and the first thing I mentioned was that I was interested in anderson windows. He said that he would also like to show me their brand of windows and that if I did not like it would be no harm no foul (or something like that). I took a look at their windows and there were 3 main issues 1. it really looks like vinyl 2. you can make out the seams on each edge of the window 3. vinyl windows, including these, are bulkier (i.e. there is less space for the window pane and more space is taken up with the vinyl I mentioned these items to the sales person and the sales person said 2 interesting things: 1 - In regards to the seam on each edge that I pointed out, he said something to effect that is something that may not appear or may be hidden (or something to that effect) 2- In regards to all my comments he said he never heard anything like that before. After it was clear I was not interested in his windows he said they did not install anderson windows and that it was the scheduler's fault and that the scheduler is new. Wow. Triple wow. He must have forgotten our initial conversation. What a slippery contracter. They took up my time and did not seem to me to be honest.

Contract required all approvals and permits. Contractor has failed to secure all approval and permits and has not returned my deposit, even after a certified request has been made for the deposit return.

The gentlemen that did the job were extremely efficient and knew their job, very nice also. Have already noticed a reduction in noise, waiting for the summer to finish to notice the reduction in energy costs. Windows are very easy to open and close and the tilt down for cleaning is great.

Estimator, Keith, was very nice, very efficient and straightforward. He also made a very good suggestion for the design of the window, which we eventually used, and are very happy with. Installation team was great -- easy to deal with, worked hard and efficiently, cleaned up after themselves, anddisplayed excellent craftmanship. They even discovered a small area of rotten wood above the door, and replaced it with no additional charge. Window and door work as Keith had promised and we're happy campers!

From sales installation and one service call afterwards the entire experience was trouble free. We have been so pleased with the doors and Ameritech we are now purchasing a front door. I highly recommend this company.

Bottom line the windows installed by Ameritech's team were well worth the money. They dropped my heating and cooling bill by nearly half. The windows have performed exactly as advertised. Reduced the noise from outside tremendously. I am now having new French doors installed to match the same quality of the windows.

Ameritech put triple pane windows in my house. Did a great job. the house is warmer in winter and cooler in summer. We are now using them for trim and gutters.

Overall it went fine, but you get a lot of the "take the price today for the lowest rate" sales pitch from them. I mainly talked to them because they'd done my siding and doors...the siding's had some small issues since, but the doors/locks are very solid. They do seem to be more expensive than I'd like, thinking back on it a year later. The sales pitches are usually really good, it's a matter of what can you negotiate and do you really need it.

Every window and door in the house has been replaced in the past few years. If this vendor is not competent enough to see that the house has new windows, then one should be cautious about using them. Also, my experience is that when a vendor starts off making false claims it just goes downhill from there, despite what all the good reviews say.

There were two different teams that provided the service. One installed the doors and the other did the rest of the job. Both teams did an excellent job and we have been very satisfied with the service.

We met with three window-specific vendors and Ameritech was, by far, the most knowledgeable, helpful and punctual company. All of our windows were installed quickly and we are very satisfied with the product. Our house immediately looks brighter, cleaner and more energy-efficient. We would use Ameritech Construction for future projects.

The presentation was great to show the quality of the Oxford triple pane windows. Great, quality, USA (PA) made windows and durable and effective construction. The install was great, the cost was fair for the quality. The installers were very professional and did an amazing job. What prompted me even more to write this review was yesterday Levon Sherfield was sent to my house for a service call. I wanted to take the time to post a note of gratitude for the astonishing service performed by Levon. His attitude and willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty requirements to make sure that I was pleased was outstanding! It is representatives such as Levon that will give Ameritech a great name and lead to highly reputable new and repeat customer leads and satisfaction rates. Keep up the great work! Will definitely do repeat business with Ameritech!

Installation went great. After installation we noticed a small bubble in the glass of one of the French doors. They brought a new glass but it didn't fit because the door was a non-standard size so they brought a new door. The new door did not match the original so they replaced both French doors all at no cost to us. They did not quit until it was right!

It was a smooth transition. They arrived promptly and were efficient, neat and courteous.

I contracted with Ameritech to replace a garage door, two windows on the garage, and gutters along 2 sides. The garage was very old and needed to be repaired as well as having new installations. The Ameritech sales representative, Mr. Ahmed, was helpful and courteous. The construction crew arrived as scheduled, worked almost without a break, and completed the job quickly. They cleaned up afterwards, and the finished product was perfect! I would certainly recommend Ameritech to others for the quality of work that they did. I was very satisfied.

Excellent installation. Professional installers. Insulation saved me hundreds of dollars this past winter in heating costs.

GREAT JOB.CLEAN-UP WAS VERY GOOD.

We've used Ameritech twice now and are working on a third time. The first two experiences were above and beyond expectation. We were sold above grade quality windows and doors which we were promised would cut out noise and also reduce the amount of heat which comes in through the windows. Both promises were met. Our bedroom in the previous home where we had the work done backed up to a major road which resulted in massive amounts of traffic noise pollution. The bedroom faced southwest and we would get a lot of intense afternoon sun. After the windows were installed the heat was reduced significantly and the noise pollution was easily cut by 40% or more. The salesman who came to help us was extremely inormative. He provided information about Ameritech's products as well as information about competitors. He was very honest and up front about cost and also went into a lot of detail about the materials used. He provided all kinds of samples and was able to answer all of our questions very thoroughly and never responded with "I don't know". The quality of both jobs was exceptional and we will be returning to the company for more work. After the third job is complete we very much look forward to a fourth. This time it's siding and gutters. Next time we're having all of the windows in the house replaced! We haven't been disappointed yet and are extremely happy we've found a trustworthy contractor who uses all it's own employees to do the work and whose services are beyond compare!

We have used Ameritech in the past and outside of a bad PM that was assigned to the roof job, we have had excellent service from the company. We have had a large sliding glass door and roof installed by this company and both jobs were delivered on time and budget and the people who performed the installs did a really good job. Workmanship is excellent. Our salesperson today was Kevin Luke and he was very helpful and knowledgable of the products. The whole process was quick and efficiently handled.

Salesman did a great job. He listened to what we wanted and gave us estimates for upper and lower attics. He did not try to push us into buying more than we needed or wanted. We went with insulating the lower attic as upper attic insulation was adequate. Scheduling took some time and the company was slow in responding to our calls, even after we returned their calls. Workers arrived on time and did a great job. They were friendly and knowledgeable about the job. The salesman underestimated the amount of blown insulation but the company okayed the additional insulation at no cost to us. My only complaint is that when we paid the final bill they would not accept our credit card and we had to pay by check. This was not stated in the contract we signed. It was stated on the paper provided to us at the completion of the job. Stated no credit card accepted for final payment. This could be a problem for customers who need to use a credit card rather than paying by check. This is the only reason I wouldn't use them again as the next job was estimated at $5000 and I would definitely want that put on a credit card. June, 2014 The owner did contact me and offer to return my check and put it on my credit card. I appreciated the offer but by that time we declined. I want to reiterate that they did a fabulous job with the insulation. We have no freezing cold or high heat in the areas that were insulated. I would definitely use them again.

Michael, the salesman, bullied me into purchasing a front door. He offered to pay for an Angie's List membership to get me to write a positive review about last year's purchase - and even promised a discount. I bought a front door from him just to get him out of my house, but later I called and canceled the purchase. After I canceled the purchase, he made another visit to my home and he said, "I can't leave here without selling you a door. What is it going to take?" I never got my check back. The salesman insisted that the check would not be cashed and he'd bring it back. However, the owner did say that it has been cashed and they'd send me a company check which I did receive.
