Description of Work: Requested a vanity top. Provided size. Asked for rush due to holidays. Promised remnant marble by Friday. They did not call as promised. When following up, we were told it wasn't going to be ready until Saturday. Saturday, no call. We finally called and were told the owner was sick and someone would call back. No call. We got uncomfortable and tried to cancel. No one has called back confirming the cancel. We called again after Christmas, still no confirmation. We are going to call our credit card company and cancel payment to assure no issues. We would not use this company again.

I went to ACI to get a piece of granite cut for a vanity top. I made a template of the vanity top, complete with hole outlines for the industry standard sized pipe fittings. I chose a piece of remnant gray granite for the job, and was told it would take a week. It turned out instead to take a lot longer and with a lot of working from me to get things right. First, they lost my template...but I didn't find out until I had called them a couple of weeks later, and after realizing that they seemed confused about the job, visiting them in person. Finally, they admitted to losing the template. I made a new template and after dropping it off, waited another week. After I called again, they admitted (with some prodding from me) that they didn't know where the remnant I had chosen was, or what color it was. I told them to just choose a gray piece and cut the darned thing. It took another week, but they finally told me the piece was ready. When I went to pick it up, they could not find the piece, and I had to help them find it. When we found it, it did not have holes drilled in it...and it was slightly green-gray, not truly gray. I was too tired of the whole thing to complain by this time. I went off to lunch while they cut the holes. When I got home with the top, I realized they had cut the drain hole too quickly, and it was slightly jagged at one end, just enough to stop my drain pipe from going through. I ended up buying a new diamond bit to open up the hole just enough to fit the drain pipe through. Luckily, the floor where the vanity was installed was dark green, so the slightly green granite top did not clash.
