ABL Professional Painting

Provider arrived promptly and painted surfaces as instructed. The house looks terrific.

ABL did a wonderful job on this project hanging plastic to insure that plaster dust did not escape the area. This was one of a number of jobs ABL Painting did for us. Other jobs included painting the stairwell and doors and power washing the house. All jobs were done in a professional manner.

They painted the carport wood pillars; front and side doors; trim around the sofitt from the front to the back of the house. They were very accommodating and allow me to delay the work for several months after the original expiration. I was very pleased with the painters that performed the work. I will recommend they to friends, neighbors and coworkers a like.

ABL Painters did a great job in fitting me in to there schedule. They where able to Paint my Daughters Room the day of her birthday in her favorite princess colors. She was so happy to see her room when she got home from school. These guys can work magic.

They came on time in the morning and completed the job by around noon. Overall done a good job in power washing, replacing wood and painting all trims.

He showed up on time and did the entire job between 8:30 and 5:00pm. I was impressed with the attention to detail. They covered every square inch of my home. Tapped plastic over the cupboards and counters. Nothing was missed. The most impressive part was they fixed every imperfection on my walls. My home was built in 1955. They spackled areas of my wall I didn't even noticed needing repair. Very very please! Martin

After at least three e-mails and two phone calls, I received no response on when and how to get ABL to perform this "Big Deal."

We got a deal on Angie's List for 2 painters for outside painting for one day. We have a brick house with some siding. We needed some of the trim painted around the garage door, on our porch, and up on the second story. It is not a lot of trim, but it was enough that we did not want to do it ourselves (especially the second story painting). We saw the deal on Angie's List and decided to try it out. ABL Painting called within a day after we purchased the deal. They gave us a few dates to choose from. We chose the date we wanted them to come a week or two out. We provided the paint. They showed up on time and started work immediately. They caulked where required and painted all the trim we needed painting. We are very happy with their work. Good deal.

Used three different paint colors, and their lines were neat, straight, didn't cut corners, making sure to remove bathroom mirrors and wall plates first, efficient and on time. Once Ari and I got in touch with each other (I messaged him), he was very responsive, coming out to go over the work that needed to be done, and his team was prompt, courteous, and neat. Did a much better job than I could have done, and with much less back pain!

ABL's was prompt at every turn, provided good service, good quality, excellent punctuality, and friendly and courteous communications throughout. When we turn to the interior painting, we will be interested in having them bid on that work as well. ABL suggested the refreshing repainting of the shutters, a "detail" we hadn't considered and that other contract bidders didn't suggest or mention -- and this made a great improvement in the results and the look of the house, at a very reasonable additional cost. Although we had requested that the siding be power washed, it wasn't until I realized that since they had the equipment on hand, they could extend its use to the deck which was badly in need of attention. The on site team leader quickly conferred with Ari, the project manager, who quickly provided an affirmative response and an quote we found reasonable and that task was added to the work being done. This family owned company is a great resource for the community and provides fast, reliable, responsive quality work at a competitive price! I happily recommend them to others.

The team did an outstanding job - they are highly skilled and took their time to do thorough and careful work. The paint job is immaculate and I am extremely happy. I hired ABL on two different occasions and the first time everything went like clockwork, the second time, there was a miscommunication regarding the time/date but the owner made sure to correct the error and sent a team over immediately to start the job. My only issue is that I wanted to hire them to complete the painting on a number of interior doors and I sent a message but didn't hear back.

ABL Painting confirmed the appointment the day before, and showed up exactly on time. The job was relatively straightforward -- re-attaching parts of the roofline trim that had come off or was sagging, and then caulk between the trim and brick to keep critters from getting in there. Not only did they do a beautiful job, they even went around and filled the nail holes, something I did not ask them to do but which made the finished work look wonderful. I have some other painting work to do in the house, and will definitely call ABL if we decide not to do it ourselves. They are a real find!

The following is a review of ABL's work when painting our wood deck. For reader convenience, I organized the review into major components. Estimate: ABL was so strongly reviewed on this site that we asked him (as well as other well-reviewed contractors) to provide a time and price estimate to finish our deck. The deck is rather tidy but needed protection, especially as Winter Is Coming. Also, painting would add an aesthetic appeal and make my deck the envy of the cul-de-sac. Lue himself came over to provide the estimate and we received his price within a few days. His price was well within our expectations. In fact his estimate was the same as one of his competitors, but the other contractor only offered one coat service, not two. Twice is nice. Scheduling: Scheduling was a bit tough but that was more about the weather than anything else. Lue was flexible but lemme tell you, I picked the wrong profession. A weatherperson is the only trade where you can be right 50% of the time and still keep your job. Wouldn't you love to hear from your surgeon that may may live or you may die, we just don't know what the patterns are saying yet... Work: The work was done with a crew of three young lads. The chief of the crew spoke OK English, but it also helped that I know a little Spanish. There was no communication issues or need of Google translate. The crew were respectful, polite and rather cheery. Perhaps it was the amount of fumes they were breathing but I heard a lot of laughing - good for them. Usually when I paint the only sounds I make are muttering and cursing. Strangely the crew were so respectful that they brought their own microwave to cook lunch. Yes you read that correctly. I stopped by to do a little checkup and there it was, a full sized microwave, cooking away on the grass. Next time Lue, mi casa es su casa (see those Spanish skills coming handy)! You can use my microwave next time, just no Indian food or Haggas, cool? Anyways, besides adventures in radiation, the work was absolutely perfect. Not a drip and looked great. I know that if wife and I tried to do the same level of effort there would be an impending divorce. The color was a little light, but that's on me (tip to the masses, Rustoleum 2X Deck Cover will tint lighter than expected). Still looks very good and much better than my color blind neighbors. Follow-Up: Lue himself came in the afternoon to inspect the work to ask if I was satisfied. Yup an A says it all. Parting thoughts: Surrendering yourself of 800 dollars for something you can logically do is tough. Wife and I wanted the convenience of getting the work done in a day and like I said before, to stay married. I was overjoyed with the result. So here's a limerick: Well the workers were clad in white, They painted from dawn to night. There was nary a stop, Nor spatter or drops, The result - oh what a sight!

Did an excellent job! Punctual, polite and professional. Its nice to find a contractor who does what he promises to do, when he promised to do it, at the agreed upon price. Highly recommended.

Ari and his crew arrived on time and did fantastic work. They put drop cloths down to protect my wood floors, then did prep work on the walls before painting including patching, sanding and taping edges. They finished all the work in two days, which I appreciate because I just moved in and have multiple contractors and movers coming this week. Ari was very pleasant, yet professional. I would definitely use his painting services again in the future and would recommend him to friends. If I can edit this review later to include pictures, I definitely will. I am so pleased with the new paint - it makes such a difference.

Went well. Everyone was polite, professional, and punctual. The only thing I would change is communicating in more detail about who was painting which part of the door frame and sides of doors. I painted a couple of bedrooms myself and needed help finishing the hallway. There were small parts of the door frames that I didn't get to paint and wanted to have them painted even though they were part of the insides of the bedrooms. Prices were consistent with another highly-rated painting company.

ABL Painting is outstanding!!! The owner came the first morning to see what work I needed done and then left his painters to work on it. They painted the front of my house, which is painted brick and includes two windows and extensive/detailed wood trim around the front door, and the garage door. They had to scrape/sand the surfaces down and repair the wood on the garage door and the fancy trim all around the front door. They did all of the prep and applied two coats of paint to the front in just over the 20 hours covered by the Big Deal and did an outstanding job!!! Mr. Lue, the owner, did not charge me for the extra time. I was so impressed with how hard their painters worked and what a beautiful job they did. I will definitely use them for any painting inside or outside my home in the future. I have already recommended them to a friend.

ABL showed up on time to paint all of our outdoor trim. After a little bit I went outside to check on the progress. The painter, who was only supposed to paint the trim white, was also painting my siding white. I stopped him; we called the owner of the company who explained to the worker that only the trim was supposed to be painted. I also discussed with the owner what he was going to do about the siding which was now the wrong color. The owner asked me if I would be willing to go get the paint color matched at home depot and that he would reimburse me for the paint. I agreed and the owner came later in the day and stayed with his employee to paint my siding. The owner also compensated me a little for my trouble. So, there was a little hiccup, but the owner's willingness to fix the problem, and then work alongside his employee until the problem was fixed, left me satisfied.

I am giving Ari and his crew an overall A grade because the actual paint job was excellent. Made my used rental property look and feel brand new. Amazing job. That being said, expect headaches. He would cancel and then once I had re-arranged my plans he actually did show up which made life stressful and chaotic. His crew left my windows wide open and had there been a strong rain storm (like we have had a lot lately) my Brazilian cherry solid hardwood floors would have been absolutely ruined ($15K cost). I had to always be checking up on them to make sure they locked doors and closed windows etc. when leaving for the night. When i would present these issues to Ari I would get an almost sarcastic and flippant attitude back. And until he forced me to be an absolute jerk to him then he would be more amenable. Would I use them again? Maybe. But only after I made sure there isn't another really good paint crew with more professionalism out there.

It went very well. We had some problem spots on the walls that we had just accepted as troubles with plaster. This is the first time I hired someone to paint for me and I definitely see now why you want to hire the professionals to do the work. It looks AMAZING! I can't say enough about the great job that they did and how quickly the work was completed.

Working with Ari was great. He is professional, knowledgable, fair and just a pleasant person. He provided a fair estimate and his crew did incredible work. Our house looks like a new house. Neighbors not only commented on how great the house looks, but how professional and impeccable they were -- one commented they were "like Rembrandt"! I will definitely use them again in the future, and have already recommended them to friends.

WOW...thank you for being such professionals!! The paints arrived on time, painted to full bathrooms, cleaned up any mess and had me check their work. I would definitely use this company again, and would highly recommend them to my friends and family

Ari and crew did a fabulous job on our master bedroom and sitting room. They used custom colors to paint the ceilings and walls, as well as caulk the crown molding in both rooms. We had Ari put two coats of paint on everything and they did a quick, efficient and professional job. We will be using ABL painting for all of our future painting needs.
