All I expected. They were a little late but brought extra people and finished when I told them I had to leave! :)

They were prompt in coming to see what we would need for cleaning services. The services they performed were good. We stopped using them do to small things that annoyed us. They would reorganize materials on counter tops in the bed rooms that they were asked not to touch. they unmade beds that were already made. They also folded wet rags that were hanging on the tub and placed them on dry towels. They also took clothes that had been purchased at a department store out of the store bags and then threw the sacks away.

I called and asked for an estimate. The gentleman said he was booked that week for cleanings but could by by and give an estimate. The time for the estimate wasn't convenient for me so he said he would be in my area on Friday around 4 pm and that he would call around 11 am to schedule the estimate later that day since he'd be close by. He didn't call and didn't show which really upset me. I've not heard from him since and don't want to give my business to someone with such a lack of professionalism. I went out of my way to make myself available that day to no avail.

They do a great job cleaning . Very thorough, efficient. I liked the fact that they show up with supervisor. The problem is the longer they cleaned my house the more they damaged or broke. Furniture scratched, valuables broken, draperies ripped. I have spoken to them about correcting these issues and get the feeling they don't believe they are at fault. Supervisor sits in the car, doesn't manage the cleaning team. Such a shame since they clean well but can't seem to stop breaking things.

The owners, Albert and Gladys, came to our house one evening for an initial consultation. They set the price for an initial cleaning ($110) and then set the price for future cleanings ($90/every other week). The initial cleaning was amazing! They cleaned everything, including windows. Further cleanings have been just as good. Great cleaning, great people and great service!

I used A & G for approximately one year; I was very satisfied with the service. They always did a thorough job, and on the few occasions where I was dissatisfied with the service, they were very responsive to my concerns.

I found A & G cleaning Services through Angie's List. The cleaning was very good, but there were a couple of communication problems: First, I had them come once a month, but on the day they were due to come, they tried to contact me in the morning to let me know when(or if)they would be there. Sometimes they would not be able to come on the scheduled day. Twice I had already gone when they called, and as I did not want to leave the house open, they arrived to find me not at home. Second, I called them a week in advance to cancel my August cleaning due to vacation. The gentleman seemed to understand. But when I got home, I discovered via my caller I.D. that they had tried to call 3 times on the day I'd canceled. Since my answering set was turned off they did not leave a message, they apparently showed up. I tried to schedule the Sept. cleaning, and the gentleman said they would "try" to get here. They did not come, I did not hear from them again, nor did I try to contact them.

Overall they do a good job. The owners are very responsive to my calls and questions/comments. Some of the teams are better than others, but overall they do a good, basic house cleaning.

The owner arrives with about 5 or 6 people and supervises them, which is very important. They did a thorough job in a very short time. And they come at about the time the owner of A & G Cleansing Services said they would. They are very efficient and go quickly from room to room. They do what they are asked to do, and almost everything is put back in the same place. I have asked that certain shelves containing knickknacks not be dusted, and they have complied. They have now come four times, and I have been pleased with their professionalism each time.

They did a great job cleaning for me. The price was exactly what they quoted. They came with enough people and equipment to do the job in three hours. I would highly recommend them.

The service is good. They always show up when they are scheduled. We called one time to say we weren't happy and ever since then they have been great. They respond to their customers really well and they are very good to stay away from items we want them to stay away from.

Didn't hear back for 4 days, then I got an email, offering a time for someone to come and give me the estimate, but the time was inconvenient for me. I responded asking for a different time and did not hear back again.

Over a year ago I got a quote from A & G for cleaning our apartment. It was higher than another quote so even though we were really impressed with A & G, we hired the person with the lower price. After a year of declining performance we parted ways with the lower priced person. I called A & G and asked them to resubmit an estimate. We hired them and have been VERY satisfied. The team, under Albert's supervision, thoroughly cleans the apartment to the promised standards. Not only are we well satisfied with the quality of the work; it has been a great relief to have Albert assume responsibility for quality control and supervision. A & G's price may be slightly higher but we have found the service well worth it.

I have been using them since early in the year and have never had a problem.

I was disappointed. They had such great reviews on Angie's List that I thought they would be fabulous. The guy that I spoke to was really nice and it seemed everything was falling into place, until they got here. It seemed like they went through the house half hazardly. They seemed very young and they didn't seem well trained at all. They didn't use good judgment. I called and told them not to come back. The owner called me back and wanted to know why. I explained why and he returned my money.

They are prompt, thorough and responsive, and were quick to address my concerns.

It's pretty good. No problems. It's usually a crew that comes and cleans. They are very good about communicating when they need to change the time they are going to be here. They do a very good job and they are thorough.

Not well. I contacted A&G Cleaning Service and while they did contact me quickly via e-mail reply, it was just to tell me that they did not work on weekends and they had a full schedule for the period I was interested in. However, they have not responded to my follow-up e-mail to discuss alternate times or made any attempt to contact me to discuss scheduling. I understand they have other clients, but to not even attempt to discuss alternate scheduling or to simply say they are not accepting new clients was disappointing. A follow-up phone call so I could have actually spoken to someone would have been appropriate and appreciated. A lone e-mail stating basically we re to busy left a bad taste.

Albert was somewhat difficult to understand and did not fully explain the areas serviced by A&G. I live in the Brightwood/Manor Park neighborhood, but Albert stated that A&G does not currently service areas south of Connecticut Avenue. This was confusing since Connecticut runs north-to-south and Albert could not further explain except to say that my area was not being serviced. He did say that A&G might service the area in the next 3-4 months.

They are extremely thorough, much more meticulous than other cleaning services I have used. Everything sparkles, shines, and smells fresh. The owners of the company are a father and son, and one of them comes each time to supervise the cleaning crew. They are very polite, friendly, accommodating, and easy to work with.

They were fantastic! Albert showed up with a five-member crew. (future cleaning will likely be a three-member crew.) They worked for 1 hour and 40 minutes. The house looks great, so clean! In addition to the usual dusting, vacuuming, and mopping, they swept and damp-mopped the hardwood floors, wiped all of the baseboards and used some sort of cleaner on all of the paneling and woodwork. They got to all of the small spaces that I probably wouldn't have thought of. I am quite pleased. (I'll try to update this entry after A & G has done a few of the monthly cleanings.)

They are always prompt I haven't had anybody had as good as them their work is impeccable and very well done and I found them on Angie's List cuz they had good rating on it.

This is a family business. Husband and wife came to my house to provide the estimate. They arrived on time, were professional, thorough and pleasant. Not having had house cleaning before, they provided information and asked the appropriate questions to ferret out what I really needed. I have 2 indoor cats and was concerned about them during the cleaning. They assured me that they were used to working around pets. The house sparkled when I came home and the cats were fine. Cannot wait for my next cleaning day - next week!

I like them very much because they do a really good job and they do really good service. They are consistent and the quality is just really good. They also follow up which is nice.

They are efficient, economical and honest. They get done very quickly. I have no problem leaving them alone in the house.
