I just wanted to take a moment to share my experience working with the Tim Pierson Home Sales Team, and, more specifically, TJ Walter. My wife and I moved to DC about two years ago and knew almost nothing about the area, or home buying in general. When we made the much-dreaded decision to start looking for houses, we called TJ up because he came highly recommended by a friend of ours. From the very first time we sat down with TJ at a diner in Arlington, we felt that we were well taken care of. TJ went to great lengths to make sure we went into the process understanding the ins and outs of the market, the pros and cons of different houses and neighborhoods, and how the whole buying process works in general. In the months that followed, he met us at countless open houses, patiently answered hundreds of questions, provided insight when we had none, and steered us clear of a few places that we retrospectively would have regretted had we purchased. From start to finish we felt like he was reachable, responsible, and had our best interests at heart. He was also a huge encouragement during the times that we felt discouraged about our prospects of finding a home that we loved. The Pierson Home Sales Team was excellent from start to finish! We had been on the fence about buying a home for a year and finally pulled the trigger. The team never pushed us, pressured us, or made us feel as though we were a bother as we waffled back and forth as first time home buyers. It is refreshing to have a group of people who genuinely care about you, the process, and your goals. I have no doubt that if we shouldn't have purchased a home they would have told us. As a first time home buyer they did a great job of walking us through the process! We found a house that we loved on a Wednesday morning and reached out to the team to tour it. Knowing how hot the market is and how fast things go, the team shifted things around to make sure we could get out to see it the same day. We loved the house and they stayed up late getting an offer prepared and sent it over late that night. Luckily for us our offer was accepted despite being put against two other offers and I know it's because of the professionalism and tact the Pierson Team has. After we went under contract, the Team was excellent at making sure we got the right maintenance items done and the closing process went smooth. Each client is valued and treated as though they are the only ones. They also have wonderful events to connect and appreciate prospective, current, and past clients which we love going to! We will certainly be using them again for any of our real estate needs!

We sold our townhome in Centreville and bought our home in Springfield both with Shontel. I highly recommend Shontel and her team. We were very impressed with all the little details and extras they did to help our home stand out and get sold quickly. We were very appreciative of their advice on how to prep our home to sell. Our home sold in 3 days in the Fall! Shontel even coordinated a back up contract on it as well. She guided us through the process and stayed in touch. We never questioned if she was available or not, she always had time. When it came time to buy, she showed us homes in our budget and in the areas we were looking. She never tried to stretch us out of our comfort zone. Our search was always well mapped out so we weren’t wasting time and she had already reached out to make the appointments to see the houses. She was wonderful to work with and offered great advice as we were placing an offer on our current home. Even if she advised differently, we made the final decisions and she followed through as we asked. We appreciated the guidance she gave through the entire purchase process. We would definitely use them again if needed and we recommend her to everyone we know!
