After watching too many TV shows about the marketing and selling a home, we asked four agents for proposals to sell the home we had lived in for 18 years. In preparation, we had given a lot of effort to decluttering and updating our house during the prior year. Zinta arrived promptly for our first meeting. After introductions, she drew our attention to a few curb appeal items that we had not thought of. She then gave an excellent and well-thought out presentation abut her background and how she proposed to market our home -- complete with a photo taken earlier in the day. She had an extensive list of properties she used for comparable pricing. This is notable because our neighborhood is very stable with very little turnover, so 'comps' are difficult. The documentation and resource material she left with us was extensive, readable and extremely useful. After reviewing proposals from Zinta and three other agents, we asked her to represent us. We felt she would speak up if we weren't preparing as we should. She normally offers 3 hours of staging as part of her services, but she suggested that we may wish to have an appraisal done to see if our target price was appropriate. She set out a timeline for professional photographs and floor plan preparation, delivery and installation of signage, and ensured the brochure box was topped up at all times. The brochure and online photography were excellent. We received positive feedback from the moment the property was listed on the MLS. Many agents showed the property to their clients and there was excellent response to the one open house. We reviewed several contract offers and chose one. Everything went very smoothly right up to and including settlement. The total time elapsed from our first meeting to settlement was 13 weeks!! We find this remarkable since we are aware of many properties in our area that have been on the market for a long period of time. Throughout that time (and beyond), Zinta always responded to our e-mail and telephone inquiries and concerns. Her staff and contacts and also very approachable and helpful. We felt we could not have achieved the same results without Zinta and her team.

She pointed out some potential hurdles, along with ways to overcome them. Throughout the sale process through to settlement, she promptly responded to all email and telephone inquiries. She is extremely professional, well-organized and she knows real estate. If you listen to Zinta and take her advice, you will sell your home. We interviewed three other agents before signing with her.
