Description of Work: Full exterior painting including fences and decks plus some minor repairs. Sara Williams Painting is excellent - kind, considerate, thorough, and definitely competent. I plan to use her firm for all our future painting.

Description of Work: I actually had work performed by Design Pro Inc. The firm shares an office and mailing address with University Painters of Fair Lakes Circle in Fairfax. They did some minor plumbing repair and water damage remediation to the kitchen ceiling. They replaced two bifold doors that I funished and installed a new faucet in my townhome powder room.

Description of Work: Painted 2 coats on all walls in my 2 Bedroom 2 Bathroom condo. The accent wall has horizontal stripes. The Manager and daily supervisor were nice to all employees.

Description of Work: Replaced and painted rotted exterior wood trim.

Description of Work: On April 2, 2013, I scheduled drywall and painting work to be done in a single 20X12 upstairs dormer room. I was told that there would be three workmen arriving between 8and 9:00 a.m. on April 22 and would do the work in two days. When no one showed up by 9:30 a.m. I called Mr. Papageorge. After going back and forth a couple of times. Two workmen showed up close to noon. Only one stayed and began doing the drywall repair. He was picked up at around 4:00 p.m., and I was told that they would return between 9 and 9:30 the next day. Three workmen showed up around 10:30 but only one stayed. Since the young man that was left to do the entire job didn't appear to have any food with him and no mode of transportation, I finally fixed him a sandwich at around 3:00 p.m. for which he was very appreciative. The job foreman came back around 4:30 p.m. and asked if the job was finished. I told him that there was a lot remaining to be done -- none of the trim had been painted. He proceeded to rapidly start painting and his haste is evident. The price I was quoted was $600.00 plus materials. I paid $100.00 on April 2 for materials. Noting my displeasure, I ended up paying an additional $500.00, or approximately $100.00 less than the quote. I was told that the dust would be vacuumed up, but no vacuum ever appeared and the furniture was moved back without vacuuming. I had to move all of the furniture and vacuum. I think the moral of this story is that if a contractor shows up 3-4 hours late the first day, cancel out and cut your losses.

Description of Work: Excellent in every respect. Estimate was competitive. Work was performed on schedule. Crew cleaned up each day and was very responsive to our requests. They missed one area - probably a misunderstanding - and came back without dispute.. I would use them again.
