Mr. Camayo and his assistants arrived promptly and began by putting down tarps to help contain what is essentially a very messy job. He did not charge for materials, rather he and I went to the store and I purchased what he deemed he needed for the job. This transparency worked out fine with me. While not an exceptionally difficult job, taping and mudding drywall does require a skill level beyond my own. And patience. Camayo and his team were meticulous, thorough, and left the work area in good shape when they finished. Mr. Camayo returned for a few hours the next day to finish the final sanding and smoothing, having allowed it to dry overnight. I found him to be pleasant and engaging, and very professional. Also, I found his price to be very fair, given the square footage he had to work.

Mr. Camayo responded promptly to my request for a quote. He started on time, arriving with a helper. They had to remove an engineered wood floor that was glued to a sheet vinyl floor, and remove the sheet vinyl too. The sheet vinyl floor had a paper-like backing which had to be scraped and sanded to prepare the subfloor for a new floor installation. This was hard, laborious work. They stuck with the job, careful not to mar the cabinetry. It took both of them all day b ut they got it done. Clean up was OK, but less than perfect. All in all, a difficult job very well done. I would recommend Mr. Camayo and will use him again soon to repair drywall.

He was courteous and polite. He seemed to know what I was talking about. I think his price was kind of high. He was very responsive, he came for the estimate right away.

I contacted Carlos to see if he could do a small project in our house: installation of a new interior door on an existing blank door jamb. He called me back quickly, was very courteous, and we arranged a time for him to come a few days later. He took my address and asked for details about the project when we spoke. When Carlos was late for the appointment, I called him. He had no idea who I was and no recollection that we had scheduled a meeting. He informed me he was busy at the moment and couldn't come and asked if there was another time he could come. I declined to reschedule. I contacted Carlos even though he has already received some negative reviews that said he didn't show up for his appointments, later saying that he had a phone problem or something happened and he couldn't make note of the appointment. Scheduling issues appear to be an ongoing problem with this provider.

Carlos was great to work with. Friendly and engaging. Excellent results.

His work was great but he does require a little bit of guidance. I would suggest talking to him extensively about the project desired and be prepared to provide him with specifics about what you want done and he will do it. His finishing work including paint and dry wall is amazing and we get compliments all the time at the work. He is a very nice guy, very flexible when it comes to changing plans if necessary, his pricing was extremely fair so overall it was a joy to work with him. I would highly recommend him for this type of work.

Carlos is an easy man to communicate with. He gave us a good estimate and clearly understood what needed to be done, making recommendations on how he could improve water drainage to prevent future rot. He was on time for both days of work, and his crew was respectful of our property. He was also quick to report damage that we'd not discussed in the original work and was willing to get it done immediately in order to make the job as complete as possible. We will definitely consider him first for our next job.

I was soooo relieved to meet Carlos and have him do our work. This was the 3rd or 4th attempt to get a handyman to come to our home and give us an estimate for various relatively small projects, schedule quickly and get it done right. Carlos and his helper did exactly that! Several others wanted to estimate based on photos, and more photos, and still others immediately suggested we replace the large sliding glass door that wasn't sliding correctly. Carlos came the same day I called, as he was in the area. He gave me a very fair price about 2 days later, and he finished the work with very high quality less than a week later. We are thrilled. Carlos seems to have a knack for seeing what needs to be done and getting it done right and quickly. I will definitely use him for future handyman work!

Carlos and his partner were responsive, professional and extremely efficient in their work. We rarely make strong recommendations for service companies, but Carlos' work ethic, customer orientation, and high caliber work deserve all of our praise...and more. We will be calling Carlos for every repair and handyman task we have from now until the day he closes up shop. Carlos was able to come out to our home and provide an estimate for the work to be performed within 48 hours. He was then back to actually perform the work within the week, re-arranging his schedule and working some long and late hours to help us get our home ready for sale. He was always punctual, extremely responsive when we called with questions, and helped us make some key decisions on certain upgrades to keep things within budget. Not only did we have an outstanding experience the first day that Carlos joined us to get the house fixed up, when my husband and I discovered we had bitten off more than we could chew on our own DIY list, Carlos came out on short notice and saved us....not once, but twice. It is rare to come across such excellent worksmanship combined with a gentle humility and true customer service. If you need it fixed, replaced, repaired or installed, you can't go wrong calling Carlos!

Called Carlos on a Sunday afternoon and he actually picked up the phone. I had noticed earlier in the day that some siding had blown off the side of my house from a windstorm earlier in the week. I sent Carlos a picture and he provided me with a quote and times that he could come out that day. As it turns out someone I had called earlier in the day eventually showed up (whom I was not expecting to) so I got the work done by them. Price was comparable and I have confidence that the work would have been good. If something comes up again, I'm more than willing to call Carlos again for the phone calls and texts we exchanged on a Sunday afternoon.

He's excellent. He's really good and did an excellent job. They gave me price and stick to it and there was more work than anticipated and didn't charge me more for that.Quality is also excellent.

It went well. I asked him to take a picture and show me where the gaps on the wall were. He did and sealed the gaps. I have not had any problems with the rain getting inside ever since. .

Mr. Camayo was courteous, prompt, and skilled in home repair. The attic stairs he purchased for me and brought to the house were perfect, and he professionally installed them, quickly and on time. I highly recommend his services.

We made an appointment for estimate two days prior. I confirmed 6pm time for the following Tuesday I checked to see if 6pm would be OK and not too late for him. Once he confirmed, I provided him my address over the phone and asked if he needed me to email it to him to which he replied he had it written down and will use GPS to get to my location. On Tuesday I had to take an early leave from work to arrive home in time for the appointment. After waiting an hour I contacted him to which he said he was at another job that took longer than expected. I told him he should have called or emailed to let me know he would be late or unable to make it and we could have rescheduled. Due to his unprofessionalism I decided not to reschedule the appt. Buyer beware.

He did a great job. He was polite, did a wonderful job, and it was very inexpensive for the large amount of work he did.

We noticed staining on our bathroom ceiling and found water pooling in three separate ceiling fan vent lines due to poor layout and undersized exhaust fans. Carlos rerouted the vent lines, replaced the fans with better units, and repaired and painted the drywall. He accomplished the job within a day and a half and charged us a reasonable amount. His work is very professional.

I am very pleased with them. The price was very fair. He was accurate.

I thought I would have a difficult time finding someone to come out for a small job. I searched Angies List and called Carlos yesterday. He was in my area, checked out the project, and would have repaired it at that moment, but it was raining too hard. He returned today precisely on time and made the repair. I am very happy with him, and plan to use his services in the future.

Carlos and his crew were phenomenal from start to finish. They were very professional, always on time, polite, displayed excellent workmanship and did an overall outstanding job that exceeded our expectations. This job involved caulking any painting all of the exterior wood trim of our 4-story town home, including caulking and painting around all windows and the balcony, rear bump-outs and all other exterior wood trim. This job was a bit tricky, as our town home is 4-stories and the height involves some skilled ladder work and maneuvering. Carlos and his crew handled the project with ease and constantly kept us updated through text messages, emails and phone calls. Carlos even sent us pictures each day of the work as it was being completed. We could not have been happier with his responsiveness and, most of all, the excellent workmanship that far exceeded our expectations!! Carlos and crew are a rare breed among a sea of many, many contractors. We have had bad experiences in the past with other contractors, and it was refreshing to find Carlos and have such a great experience with outstanding results. I would highly recommend Carlos for your home improvement project. A+++++ work! We definitely will use him again!!! Thanks so much Carlos!!!!!
