Maybe their work is fantastic like the reviews suggest.  But I'll never know.

Steadfast is fantastic!  I can now testify about their rave reviews on Angie's List for the outstanding service and installation of my deck.  My new deck is the talk of the neighborhood.  I receive complements every time someone sees it.
Nick the salesman was extremely helpful with the initial design and very transparent about the pricing and contract (no hidden tricks or fees).  This was not the case with other builders and estimates I received (they didn't provide a detailed estimate or willing to share the design until under contract).  
Jack Prins is awesome!  He spent his personal time ensuring I was completely satisfied with my design and with the pricing (which included their Angie's List promotional discount).  He was very open, honest, and transparent about the pricing.  He cared very much about building a quality product and not on how much money he could squeeze out of me.  He created a realistic graphical design of the deck using a picture of the back of my house that gave me a complete visual BEFORE signing the contract.  The completed deck looks exactly like the graphic!  
Skip the deck builder is incredible!  I could not believe how hard he worked day-after-day in the 90 degree heat  and the unforgiving direct sun rays that persistently beams on the back of my house from sun up to sun down.  HE WORKED EXTREMELY HARD!  I learned that Skip is a perfectionist -- he made sure that I was completely satisfied.
 My wife and I are completely satisfied with our deck and storage area.  The deck is beautiful, maintenance free, and priced right.  I am very excited about the hidden storage area that gained me more than 10x10 sq ft of space.  I strongly recommend at least getting an estimate from Steadfast.

Jack Prins came to my house, took measurements, and spoke with me extensively about what I wanted to see in my deck renovation project. He showed me pictures of projects they had done before (extremely nice!) he went over all the options, and was patient enough to answer all my questions. I was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge. As far as price it was on par with others I received. Although I did not go with Steadfast (because my husband's family offered to improve our existing deck instead) I would absolutely recommend Steadfast to anyone looking to have some work done on their deck.

Our contact was with Jack and even though our HOA approval took longer than expected, he wasted no time in installing our deck. Once we had the HOA approval his estimated time of instillation was right on time!. His crew showed up on time everyday and even worked on the weekend. They were even tidy (cleaned up after themselves), when they were done for the day, they would put all their tools and supplies neatly under the porch and would put boards over any holes for safety.  The job was completed fast and looks amazing! And a great price! I know now why they have so many good reviews! Thank you so much and my neighbors will be calling soon for their deck and fence. Awesome job! I couldn't be happier.

At the recommendation from a neighbor who used STEADFAST for install of a beautiful all-season sun-room and deck, I called STEADFAST and two other companies for an estimate on the install of a ground-level deck.  STEADFAST responded to my request right away.  I consulted 2 other companies and found STEADFAST to not only be the most reasonable but also the most responsive.  I was provided with and accepted an estimate within a couple of days.  When the time came to sign the contract, STEADFAST found an error in the estimated price, in my favor, and honored the original estimated price.  I signed a contract and was provided with a start date of o/a 15 May with a completion date of 30 May.  Steadfast  started right on time, and Augusto, who did the install, worked tirelessly  and with perfection.  He was a true professional and expert in his field.  As the project was quickly moving along, I noticed that the width of the desk was much larger than I had contracted for, but assumed that perhaps Augusto was going to cut the boards down to the 10x 24 size as contracted.  However, I quickly realized that Augusto was building a 16 x 24 deck!  I contacted STEADFAST right away to advise them of the error.  The following day STEADFAST contacted me to advise it was their mistake and they could change the size, given the project was not yet complete,  or I could keep the 16X24 deck for the same price as the smaller deck.  I decided to keep the 16x24 and offered to pay extra, at least for the difference in the materials, but Steadfast refused!  They absolutely would not take more money from me.  In the end I had an absolutely beautiful 16 X24 deck, with an extra stair and  railing on one end due to the change in the size - all for the original price of the much smaller deck.
Bottom line - STEADFAST is a company not only of high quality standards and customer service, but of  high integrity ,which is, unfortunately,  not something one can say about most contractors . . (sorry contractors!) .  I plan to use STEADFAST for my next project - basement remodel!

It went very well overall. Steadfast Construction offered the best price out of four contractors that we talked to. We selected three of them (including Steadfast) from Angie's List. They helped us design the deck according to our needs, and we are very satisfied with it. The sales person (Nick) was very professional and patient with us. The workers did a great job with the deck, and finished faster that I expected. Also, the overall service experience was great. Any time I had a question or concern about the deck I called Steadfast, and they were very helpful in providing an answer and finding solutions to my concerns.

We selected Steadfast Construction to build a deck & patio. onto our home.  The crews arrived on schedule and worked hard throughout the day. The quality of  their workmanship is very good.  They left our premises tidy each day.  Really like the look of our new deck.  Job completed in a short time.  Everyone was courteous and pleasant to work with.

After a bidding process that ended in March, Steadfast started on May 25. The work lasted through June 17--there was a lot to do. Mike was the lead on the project--actually there were only two people working--Mike and Rod. The "headquarters" group from Steadfast came by quite often to check on progress and quality and gave us frequent updates. Mike gave us daily updates. They began by bringing a large waste container for the old deck and fence material. It took them several days to demo and two dumpsters+ were required. They started new construction with the upper house deck. The construction is awesome and the deck is superbly substantial. The quality control was amazing. For instance, they finished by examining all the deck edges and nail holes to ensure there were no sharp edges or slivers. They used a router on all of the house deck edges giving the entire structure an almost furniture like quality. The heat was intense during one of the weeks but they never stopped. Can't say enough good about them.

Two supervisors. Seven workers. Very little down time. Power tools were used so car lights were used on stairs to code. Inspector passed job. No Saturday or Sunday work. Job finished in five days. Rained one day. Very hot. Cleaned site at finish.

Augusto was great!  I was surprised they only sent one person to do the job, but what do I know.  Augusto actually started a week earlier than expected which was nice.  He came by the day before to check out what work needed to be done and to introduce himself.  I was very impressed.  I was concerned he might not be able to make it the next couple of days because the weather was in the high 90s and very humid, but he was there working all day.  The price was totally reasonable and I would definitely use them again.  My deck looks gorgeous.

Steadfast promptly set up an appointment and sent a representative to meet us our home and discuss the details of the project. The representative was courteous and knowledgeable and gave us many options to choose from. We gave a deposit and we were placed on their schedule to commence work within a few weeks. Due to personal reasons, we had to push back the start date several times and Steadfast was always accommodating. Once the work finally began, the workers were very polite and cleaned up every day. After four days the work complete and the results were impressive. The deck and fence looked wonderful.

Excellent!  There was some landscaping issues where they dug the post holes that were not resolved, but I am sure if I mentioned it, they would be taken care of.  But I was so pleased with the final result, I overlooked them and "attempted" to fix them myself. But I did tell the crew not to worry about the shrubs,replaceable- and this expedited the work. I will hire them again for any home remodeling project!!

They had a good price for quality material. They did the job in a good time frame wand when they said they would. I have no complaints at all. It looks very nice. Their quality of wood was better then what I would have gotten elsewhere I believe.

We are in the process of having the Steadfast Construction Inc build our deck and fence. We have been dealing with Jeff Hoyt in the process of getting the paperwork together and estimate. We couldn't be happier with the customer service. Jeff was even willing to drive to my work so I could look at the sample colors for the composite wood. So far so good!!.....Very Nice and Very understanding!.....Can't wait to see the end result! Will send another report when completed.

The deck Steadfast Construction just completed for us turned out beautiful.  We couldn't be happier with the quality, and the reasonable price.  They had very helpful and informed suggestions on the layout, construction and materials.  The crew was very polite and considerate.  They took care to follow up afterwards to make the yeard was cleaned up and that we were satisfied.  We would definitely recommend them.

I am still working on them and their estimate. They responded very quickly and their rating was good on the list. He made some suggestions on where to put the stairs and stuff which I had not thought of. They were very helpful.

The price was reasonable. The job done went excellent because of the builders. They were great communicator, cleaned up the mess and we never had issues with them. They showed up the places they were going to show up. They finished the project on time. They finished the project within the budgets.

The process was painless for us. It worked out well for Steadfast as well since our neighbor was also getting a new deck installed. We are very pleased with the results and can't wait for winter to be over so we can enjoy our new deck. The Steadfast crew were professional and friendly. We highly recommend Steadfast for your next deck project.

The one thing we did not want (as we told both contractors)was the steps coming down on the short side of the patio leaving an awkward step off the deck. We were reassured that would not happen. Well, the patio was poured and completed. The deck was just what we wanted. All but the steps; they didn't quite reach on the left side. Needless to say, we were not please. So, we worked with the project manger to redesign the stairs to the side. The bad news was the company wanted additional funds to make the switch. We agreed but, it did cost us more in the end. We do love our deck & patio though.

It is beautiful. They did excellent work.

We were very impressed with Steadfast from start to finish. Jeff came promptly to give us an estimate for the job. He had a lot of good suggestions and photos that helped us make our selection, and the estimate was one of the lowest we received. During one of the worst winter weather seasons in history, our great builder Mirko and his crew managed to complete the porch in a timely fashion during 2 blizzards. There were a few inevitable glitches along the way, but the company responded to our concerns and made sure we were completely satisfied with the end result. Kenny, the owner of the company, is a man of integrity, and we felt we could trust his word, which was very important to us. The porch is even more beautiful than we'd hoped, and my brother-in-law, a carpenter by trade, was also very impressed by the quality of the construction. The company has stood behind its work as promised and returned promptly to make a few minor repairs. We have already recommended Steadfast to friends (all of whom are impressed by our porch) and would definitely use this company's services again for future projects!

Jack Prinns and his staff are awesome. To say that they are professional and great to work with is putting it quite mildly. At every instance, Jack was responsive to questions and issues, which there really weren't any. The end result for our new deck was one that is now over 100 sq ft larger. It looks magnificent and we want to show it off to anyone who will listen and come over to see it. Our neighbor, because of our recommendation, also had Steadfast do their deck over. We have twin decks! And, we have the best looking decks in the neighborhood. Steadfast's workmanship and quality products is quite evident. If you're going to get a deck remodel or complete redo, Steadfast is the company to use. Their pricing is excellent. Another company who provided a quote was at 30% higher but offered a 25% discount for signing the contract immediately. The product quoted was the same as that of Steadfast's quote. Jack's quote was $1000 less than the other 3 quotes we got including the one discounted by 25% for an immediate contract acceptance. If you want quality and a staff that will do everything to insure you're happy with the product, Steadfast is your company. Also, the electrician Steadfast uses (Pablo) was great! If you need an electrician who is professional, he’s your man.

It all went extremely well. Steadfast was professional and punctual, and I got exactly what I wanted (maybe even a bit more!). There were several unique features to the job and they were creative and helpful in suggesting solutions. The workmen were very competent and completed the job in just a few days. I would highly recommend this company.

The experience was AMAZING!!!!! I cannot praise Steadfast enough. My interaction with Steadfast began with finding them here on Angies List. I called and spoke with Jack the General Manager. I emailed him pictures of the current backyard and some diagrams I created of what I would like the deck and fence to look like. He immediately understood my intent and identified some structural and design flaws with my diagrams. The other contractors that I received estimates from didn't pick up on the flaws even after coming to the house for the estimate. Jack's wealth of knowledge in carpentry and design enabled him to immediately pick up on the issues. The next day Jack had a member of his company named Miguel come out and take measurements of the yard and current deck and fence. Miguel was on time, professional, and very knowledgeable. He sent me diagrams and had a detailed estimate in less than 24 hours. Upon receipt of the estimate we immediately scheduled the work. Now for the most memorable part. We were lucky to have Aldo and his crew build our deck and fence. Aldo showed up on time everyday for a day full of work and did an amazing job. He had the old deck and fence demolished in less than a day and out of our yard. He proceeded to systematically set posts and frame our deck the following 2 days. The city inspections went flawless and Aldo continued with the Trex flooring and rails. There were a few times throughout the framing that I asked for some changes and Aldo executed perfectly. He easily understood what I was asking him to change and adapted quickly. Upon completion of the deck Aldo and his crew built our new fence. He took his time building the fence by setting all of the posts one day and allowing the concrete to dry before attaching anything to them. He was there bright and early the next morning, on a Saturday mind you, to finish the fence frame and pickets. I could go on and on praising Steadfast, Jack, and Aldo until I reach the maximum number of characters allowed for this section. I have had at least 10 neighbors stop me and tell me how amazing the deck and fence look. Everyone says that it is beautiful, very sturdy looking, and a fresh breath to a neighborhood full of dated and decrepit decks. My next-door neighbor actually asked if Steadfast could do their fence while they were doing mine. Jack gave them a great price on their fence and Aldo built theirs while he was building ours. Another neighbor asked me for the contact information for Steadfast one afternoon while Aldo was working on our deck. The neighbor's deck and fence are currently being built by Aldo!!!!!!!!!! I will continue to strongly recommend Steadfast and specifically Aldo to every neighbor that is looking to get a new deck and fence. I have included a few pictures of the before and after of my back yard. Do yourself a favor and USE Steadfast!!!!!!!!!!!!! ASK for Aldo to do the construction!!!!!!!!!!!

My father-in-law and I attempted to build the deck ourselves, but we ran into obstacles with the the digging that we could not overcome. Fortunately, we had the benefit of a long-time friend's referral to get connected with Steadfast Construction (they had built two decks for her in the past). The general manager, Jack, helped us through all of the design considerations before beginning construction. Jack was patient and always took the time to work with us on the details. On a consistent basis, Jack and the team at Steadfast were committed to providing us with a strong, high quality deck. Steadfast was always helpful, reasonable, flexible, and professional with the work performed for us. Skip, who built the deck for us, was always communicative and made several suggestions that we ended up using (such as the solar lights for the stairs). The job performance was outstanding. Everyone who sees and walks on the deck remarks about how well it was built. We could not be more pleased with the result. I think what sets Steadfast Construction apart from many operations is the pride in workmanship. I cannot conceive of any circumstance where these guys would give you anything less than their best work. Thank you Jack, Skip, and the team at Steadfast Construction!
