Everything went very well. The construction was delayed several times because of weather however each day the weather was good they were out there by 7am and left around 4 or 5. The workers kept busy, any time I checked on them they were doing something with the deck.

We had an excellent experience with Steadfast. They provided helpful design recommendations, advice on various materials, and a final plan, and they built our deck and porch according to plan. They matched the architectural features of the deck to the style of our house. The workmanship was amazing, and the carpenter kept a clean and tidy work area at all times. Ours was the first deck built on our street, and after seeing ours, at least 3 of our neighbors also selected Steadfast. We have also had numerous people from other areas in our neighborhood stop to inquire.

In one-week's time, they deconstructed and removed the existing deck. The following week, the constructed the new deck. Their work was of the highest quality and the new deck exceeded our expectations.

They were great. Good input on the design. They handled all permitting which was a challenge due to our location. They started and completed the project exactly as they promised and on budget. The deck looks great and the work was top notch.

They were great to work with! They met with us and gave ideas, giving us good points about pros/cons of different designs. There was no pressure to sign and the payment schedule was very fair. We didn't pay the last payment until the work was complete. When we signed the contract and set the schedule they were to start in a couple of months (contractors were busier then). Because of an inadvertent double-booking they were delayed by a couple of weeks, so they admitted their mistake and gave us an upgrade in some features as compensation. It was very nice, very professional, and a great way to keep good relations. Once they started the construction everything went as quickly as promised (weather permitting), and we got done pretty quickly. The only delays were for weather. They stuck to a quality control standard rather than push out work in bad weather. I like that. We have only had one problem since then and they sent a repair team out to fix it quickly. The quality was great, the people were polite, respectful, and friendly. Steadfast is in our short list of favorite contractors that we recommend to our clients without hesitation.

They actually moved us up on the schedule. The workers worked hard, were on-time and did quality work. We had a couple of issues along the way and got quick responses and quick fixes every time. I highly recommend them based on price (literally thousands of dollars cheaper then some other estimates), quality and efficiency.

It's been a few years since they did the work, but as best as we remember, the job was fairly trouble-free. The deck is still in good shape and looks fine. They recommended sealing with Sikkens, which we did and it seems to be great protection for wood).

The quality of the wood and workmanship were as great. I would highly recommend.

The work was very neat and I was pleased with the results.

The workmanship was terrible; there was a communication barrier; they wanted payment before the job was finished. When we refused to pay before the job was done, they threatened us with a lawsuit. After numerous calls to the owner, they finally sent some guys out to finish the job. It was a terrible experience, and I would NEVER recommend them.

They arrived early, worked efficiently and were very clean. I would highly recommend them.

I was not very happy with this company. They seemed rude and they left a mess for me to clean up. I am still picking up bolts and other things under the work surface when I am out doing yard work. They did haul a lot of the debris away when they were done, they just weren't very thorough in the clean up process. I had to call them for some reason and the man I spoke to was extremely rude.

We contacted several companies for estimates. Steadfast's sales guy had the most knowledge about design, traffic flow, etc. and came up with an idea that we really loved. This was important to us because we had an idea of what we wanted, but he let us know what wouldn't work well with our own plan. We also were very pleased with the price quoted. It was extremely competitive and the materials that were used were better than what other companies had offered (composite deck vs PTL). The project was started on time! Several workers showed up on time and for the most part every day (weather permitting) until the project was completed. The project was completed on time also, which we truly were not expecting. We love the finished product. We have had a few things that have needed to be tweaked since completion of the deck and Steadfast has been extremely responsive. They are always pleasant on the phone, return our phone calls and have one of their workers come to our home.

with the warm early winter they planned to start early, but the first assigned foreman didn't show up as scheduled. Our gain. We were reassigned to Keith who was well worth waiting for. Keith has incredible skills...he only works 8-2 but he is on no other job and never takes a break while he is here. If he thinks you won't like the design drawn he will ask you if that is really what you want and will make suggestions. He wants it to be beautiful and functional and for you to love the deck. I recommend considering his suggestions. He does the siding roofing and electrical ...only thing he doesn't do is paint. He will do additional make it nice jobs as well...he added more outlets for us, hung an exterior light fixture, fixed the trim on one door going to upper porch, rehung a storm door, repaired some other siding etc (all extra $$ of course but nice to have done while he is out there.) Keith is worth waiting for. Steadfast did excellent work.
