The electrician did a nice job and explained what he was going to do beforehand. My residence in Gainesville was outside their normal area of coverage but the trip was paired up with another job in Haymarket. I will consider using their services again on a property in Annandale.

Easy to sked, appreciated getting called quickly and that they were able to sked same day. They called with a heads up, Roberto arrived promptly and was very nice. I was impressed with his professionalism -- he found the problem and made it safe for my family. I have already referred this company to friends. Looking forward to having them back out for recessed lighting!

Process form start to finish went very smoothly. They were able to provide us an estimate by looking at photos we emailed them. They scheduled the appointment for a few days later, showed up on time, and performed the work very efficiently.

Excellent work by Staple's Tech. Installed the outlet in location that allowed the power cable to the awning to be hidden from view. Work was done in a highly professional manner and at the level of quality I have seen from the previous times I have contracted with Staples Electric, LLC.

This is a model company with integrity that should be an example to other companies. Due to some scheduling issues they had on their end it took longer than expected to get the lights installed. Without prompting or complaint on my end, they decided to not charge us for the installation. They really did not have to do that and I believe they thought it was the right thing to do. The work was excellent and I was truly glad to see a local company with a staff that cares this much about their reputation and customers.

The provider did an excellent job to meet our inspection timeline, and fit us into their busy schedule. They also did a great job on the work on such short notice, and even came under the estimated quote. Craig and his team are great, and I would highly recommend them. I plan on using them again in my new home.

Staples was great - prompt to arrive, worked efficiently and professionally, and completed the job to our satisfaction. The staff was responsive and flexible in scheduling the work for us, and I would not hesitate to recommend Staples or use their services again.

The provider contacted me to discuss the service. After a brief description of the service I need he advised that this would not be a good fit. Requested a refund from Angie's List.

Update: Approximately two months ago during the cold weather I noticed that the high efficient Heat Pump installed in my home two years ago was struggling to provide a comfortable temperature in the house. I then contacted the company that installed the Heat Pump and after some troubleshooting, the HVAC company traced the problem to the electrical panel. It was discovered that a 30 Amp cable for the Heat Pump was never connected. Rather, the 30 amp cable was left inside a hole cut in the ceiling by the electrician near a junction box. As a result, the Heat Pump was drawing power from a 60 amp source, which resulted in the use of more power for two cold winters since the electrical panel installation. When I contacted the owner of Staples, whom directly spoke with the HVAC technician, he promised to send someone out asap. Staples sent someone out within the next day or so to connect the 30 amp cable. I have spoken directly with the owner about the 30 amp cable and we agree that it was an error or oversight. Another contractor was performing structural work on the exterior/other side of the electrical panel during several days prior to the electrical panel installation. Mistakes happen and it's how they are addressed "after the fact" that is most important to me. Staples has performed very good work for me during several previous occasions, with professional and highly capable technicians. They are very detail oriented, professional, available to answer questions throughout, thorough and complete everything in a very timely manner. Although there was an oversight for this particular job, the owner is available to discuss concerns and responds to e-mails and calls in a timely manner. I would've appreciated a bit more follow-up after the 30 amp cable was connected to provide more of an assurance, however, I will look to Staples for future electrical work based upon their highly capable technicians, accessibility to the owner and overall reputation.

Iggy and Roberto rewired my panel and took out a defective panel, then put in 4 dedicated 20 amp circuits so that my extensive power hungry professional sound studio would have ample current to support many amplifiers and the equipment with high power demands. They also fished new cable appropriate for 20amp circuits through the walls and ceilings. Then new 20amp outlets were installed in user friendly places. They patched up the many holes that were required for the fishing, and put a coat of mud over the patch and fine sanded. All that will remain is paint blending which I can do myself. They were careful to cover all my furniture and delicate things so that no damage or mess was incurred. All in all, I could not be more satisfied. I will use them again in a heartbeat. Totally knowledgable and to add to it, Iggy is a djokovic fan and I teach tennis, so how about that !!..

Terrific experience with Staples Electric. Owner, Craig Staples, came to the house the week prior to first discuss the problem. His technician came exactly at 8:00 am, very professional and knowledgeable about possible issues and electrical code requirements in Virginia and other jurisdictions. Less than an hour later, the problem was fixed and I could not be happier.

They responded quickly to our first phone call, and were able to set up an appointment to give us an estimate, and to schedule the work in a very timely manner. They underpromised and overdelivered. They were on time and courteous, and worked quickly and neatly.

Did work quickly and well. Our finicky outdoor lighting works finally!

We needed to replace two potentially dangerous electrical panels. I looked up electrical contractors in my area through Angie's List and called three electricians. Craig Staples returned my call and asked comprehensive questions to determine the scope this job required. I compared Staple's electric quote with two other quotes I already had. His quote included all parts, labor and permits; and was in the middle. What I wanted AND what I was willing to pay for, was an electrician who made us feel comfortable, was patient with my questions, and who I could call in six months or two years, for my next project. We are in the middle of a remodel, so Craig's team (hooray Roberto!!) had to come at different times...ALWAYS responsive, on time, ready to work. I am more than happy with the installation and the work...even my wife raves about Craig and his team. Bottom Line: I know it's done right. I'm thrilled with the company/attitude/work. Staples Electric is our only electrician from now on! And I do not hesitate to recommend them.

I contaced Staples and they responded quickly. We set up the appointment and as promised, I received a call 30-60 minutes before the electrician was due. Roberto arrived promptly and provided excellent service. He installed 2 light fixtures, which were still in the boxes, and looked at a few other minor issues I was having. It was a great experience and I will be calling them again when I'm ready to get my TV mounted on the wall.

The did an excellent job. They were very responsive. The came out and did an estimate, and they were in contact by email.

s All went well. l Craig contacted us right away and set up a appointment that worked for us. Roberto was very professional even moved furniture for us, it was a very quick appointment. Showed us why certain plugs werent' working in the bedroom an how to correct that. Staples is now my go to for any kind of electrical work.

Worker was told of the problem (circuit breaker tripped would not stay reset), tested all the affected outlets to make sure no problems at any outlet. Tracked back to panel, identified problem and fixed it.

Wow wow wow. First, amazing communication from the owner Craig Staples, from my first contact through the appointment and through completion. Iggy what's my technician, what a knowledgeable and very nice guy. Also, he was actually early for his appointment, a rarity these days. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Also, unlike most electricians, they do not stick you with overages and Ticky tack charges. I have found my electrician for the next several decades. These guys are great!!!

The Electricians arrived on time and was very professional. The work was completed in a timely manner and they cleaned up after. My wife and I was very pleased that they patched up the hold in the ceiling after the install. Many companies we contacted charged more with less service.

His team is extremely professional. The flood light started flickering intermittently flashing a few weeks after installation. Despite running too late from a previous appt, he sent a guy out after 5 that evening for no charge to replace the light.

The lamppost in my front yard was not working. Another electrician had told me there was a loose wire and would take time to determine where it was connected. I got the name of Staples from Angie?s List ? called on Friday, 12/5. The owner answered the phone and told me he had an electrician in my area who could be at my home within 20 minutes. Mr. Iggy showed up within 20 minutes. He not only found and fixed the problem with the lamppost but also repaired problems I had n other rooms. (My townhome was built n 1992 and while I love it, the original builder took some short-cuts resulting in some ?quirky? wiring). Mr. Iggy was very professional and it didn?t cost near what I had been led to believe that it would. - nor taken as long. Thank you to Staples for outstanding work.

Although I called with an immediate problem, they bent over backwards to get me an appointment the same day. the guy was very helpful and fixed the problem right away. Very customer friendly, will use them again!
