Description of Work: We have used Staples on multiple occasions to inspect and perform electrical work in our home. They are real professionals who show up on time, do quality work, and charge a reasonable fee.

Description of Work: Staples Electric was very responsive in handling our rental property electrical issue. They were very up front with the estimated costs and worked directly with the renter to schedule a convenient time for the work. They communicated with us the entire time and made it easy.

Description of Work: The gentleman from Staples moved a hall ceiling light and wired fire alarm to enable us to put in attic stairs. He also installed (new installation) a fluorescent light in our laundry area. He was very polite, professional, and quiet in his work, and it turned out beautifully.

Description of Work: Unfortunately, I needed specific inspection work completed and the big deal was for a general safety inspection. I paid the hourly rate and was told to request a refund for big deal that I purchased. The work performed was great and this is the second time I have used this company and I am happy with their work.

Description of Work: Asked about COPALUM and they had no idea what I was talking about, every other electrician that i spoke to knew inmediatly what I was talking even the front desk staff at other companies i called knew what COPALUM is as this is a solution for Aluminum wired homes. The person who took my call said that she will get in touch with the electrician so i could better explain but havent heard back from them. I do not doubt their profesionalism and quality of work but I think their front desk needs to be better trained.

Description of Work: I had an emergency whole-house service outage, where the main circuit breaker tripped repeatedly. Dominion Power investigated and stated the issue was on my side of the meter. Staples Electric was the first to return my call. They quickly sent out a technician, who investigated and coordinated with Mr. Staples on the diagnosis. His diagnosis was to tighten down loose wiring and see if the problem recurred. If it did recur, I would need to replace my main circuit breaker box. They tightened down loose wiring and the main breaker has not tripped again. As I did not have to replace the main circuit breaker box, I am quite pleased.

Description of Work: I contacted Craig at 11:45pm on a Friday night with a breaker issue that impacted my thermostat and heat! He contacted me, via email, within 15 minutes saying he could dispatch an electrician the next morning. Wow...incredible response time. We were ultimately able to get the breaker to work but the next time I need an electrician Staples Electric is the company to call!
