Description of Work: Quality all the way! Estimate provided very quickly and everything fully explained. Friendly and courteous installers that were very careful and cleaned up thoroughly. Did the job exactly as expected. Will hire them again without hesitation the next time I need electrical work done.

Description of Work: Replaced whole electrical panel and installed GFI outlets in kitchen and front of house. Work was completed as described. My only complaint was that they did not tell us they would not be installing a new door for the panel (since they made the panel bigger they had to cut a hole in the drywall) so we were left with a big hole in the wall but we were able to hire another contractor to build a door there. It was also very hard to get a quote after the initial meeting- I called several times and 4 weeks went by but eventually they got back to me and said they were changing computer systems and our information got caught in limbo and they apologized- hopefully that won't happen to anyone else! Other than that we were very satisfied with the quality of the work and the thoroughness of their electrical inspection.

Description of Work: A socket in a multi-light chandelier had shorted out. Since we did not have a replacement at the time of service, the electrician simply removed that socket from the electricity flow. Then he reset the circuit and the remaining sockets were good.

Description of Work: I purchased a Big Deal for an electrical home inspection. When I spoke with them to schedule they said that deal wouldn't do anything for me and they suggested I purchase the deal a different that was $225. I chose to work with another company instead.

Description of Work: Staples Electrician Iggy was requested (as he'd done work for us previously) and came promptly, quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the overhead fluorescent light in our basement. I had purchased the replacement fixture the day before on Staples' advice to save time during the appointment, so had it in hand and ready to go. Straightforward, honest pricing with excellent service. Will definitely use them again in future when needed.

Description of Work: They checked to see why lights were shorting out. After extensive review the technician located the probable culprit...loose wiring. However, to know for sure would require demolition which would be pricey. It was yet another first-rate experience with Staples and another reason why they do all of my electric work.

Description of Work: They installed 4 ceiling fans and a light in our basement pantry, and our dining room chandelier. They were great; very responsive and able to give us an estimate right away. They were punctual; and once they brought the wrong part but ran right out and got the correct part and even gave us a discount for the issue. They were very respectful of the house while they were in it and we would recommend them to others.
