No work was ever done as he did not bother to show up to give us an estimate.

I called them to come look at the intermittent outlet problem. They came in a few days at the scheduled time, discussed the work needed, did the work , and finished up. As a matter of fact, they suggested I did not need to replace several other outlets, which saved me money.

They did a great job. They were excellent and showed up on time. The guy who was here was very informative and explained what was going on well. He was very efficient and did the work quickly. I would use them again in future.

Craig was great from start to finish. He came to the house to review the scope of work and made great recommendations, answered all of our questions, and provided us with a free estimate. All of the work was completed professionally within of few days after our initial meeting. Clean up was so impressive you would not have even known they were there, except to enjoy the new lighting! I would recommend Craig to anyone I know, and will continue to use him in the future.

Craig told me exactly where they were going to cut into the drywall, and where to run the cable. Fortunately there was a raceway next to the I-beam in the basement to run the cable to they actually cut less wholes in the ceiling then anticipated. Roberto (his assistant) patched up the drywall to the point you cannot tell it was cut. Excellent job. In addition to running the electric, while they had the ceiling open, I asked them if they would run some phone cable I had, and a cable to TV. No problem. Both Craig and Roberto were very friendly, professional, and went about their work, which was completed in short order.

Craig Staples and his employee, Roberto, did a wonderful job for us over a two day period. They arrived when promised and worked diligently the whole time. Roberto, who did the majority of the work, was a delight to have working in the house. He answered all my questions and explained everything that was being done. Craig Staples kept us informed about the project through email which was very convenient. He was wonderful to work with and took extra time to explain certain wiring issues with us. I plan to have Staples Electric do other work for us in the near future.

I requested an estimate, advised that I would not be home until 3:00 PM. He e-mailed me and said he wanted to take a look before the estimate and that I should advise my phone numbers. I e-mailed AND called and gave my cell phone and home phone numbers and never heard from him again. It's been a week and I think that I gave him enough time to contact me.

The project went very well overall. He gave me an estimate and he was right on the ball with the estimate. The gentleman who came out to do the work was very courteous and made sure to clean up after himself. I have been pleased with their work. I give them A's across the board.

We called back to have the work done and Craig came back out on 5/7 and added another electrical outlet box for all the wiring in the basement. He also checked the lamp post in the backyard that wasn't working. He said that the previous owner had left the casing open and water had gotten inside and he would have to order a new light fixture. We decided wait on fixing the lamp post.

Disappointed. The person I spoke to gave me a time and date to come in and give an estimate. He did not show up and when I called and left a message, he did not return my call.

We were very pleased (and we plan to have Staples back to do more work that he recommended). Staples, with his assistant, performed a QA/QC check on some electrical work done under the supervision of our GC in a recent renovation -- about which we had serious quality concerns. Staples found eight outlets in the house, including several in our young son's room, that were ungrounded. He fixed that problem and identified and fixed several others (e.g. shower/bath fixtures not appropriate for damp locations). Both Staples and his assistant were clear and detailed in their explanations of what they found and what was needed -- both in terms of code requirements and safety. We feel good about the quality of their work and safer in our home as a result.

Craig was exemplary from start to finish. This is/was a huge long term project where things were constantly being added. In fact there are still some final things that we are finishing up and have called Craig out yet again to do some more. I could not have been happier with the service that Craig has provided. He always calls to let me know when he is on the way. He arrives ready to work and get the project done. He is very responsive to phone calls and e-mails. He is usually able to come out within 1 weeks time from when we call him to let him know we are ready for him to do something. I would not consider ever using another electrician.

Made appointment for estimate, work was discussed as to proper installation, estimate given and performed in very little time by owner and assistant. Piece of cake.

We found Mr. Staples through the List, and he was fairly responsive at first. He came out to do an estimate, but then we had difficulty getting in touch with him(it turns out there was a death in the family, or similar). Once we got back in touch, he did the work over two visits-first the dishwasher wiring, then the outlet replacement. In both cases, he and his assistant were efficient and professional.

Staples gave us an accurate and fair estimate and performed the work as promised and in a timely manner.

Craig and his assistant arrived in the morning and after devising a plan of action began to lay out floor coverings to protect from plaster dust and foot traffic. They cut out the minimum amount of plaster necessary to get the job done and did a splendid job patching up all of the holes to be paint ready. I checked in with his assistant in the middle of the day and was amazed at how much he had accomplished already. The job was completed that day and the clean up job was impeccable. It was refreshing to come home and have perfectly working cables AND a clean house.

Craig and his crew were instantly responsive, understood the need for quick reaction and came back again and again on the same day as I kept forgetting "one more little detail". The work performed was wonderful. All the electric work that Craig does is fabulous. And he cleans up and spackles any walls/ceilings - leaving things paint-ready. And Craig is delightful to work with. He is a true professional.

Craig was very prompt and responsive from beginning. His guys did good clean work and patched the walls for less than the others wanted to just do the wiring. We had one minor issue that was well handled by Craig and fixed at no additional charge to me. I wish all service experiences were like this.

Half the house had electricity and half didn't. We called Mr. Staples (because he was local) and described the problem to him. He said he could come out (a service call charge), but it sounded like a Dominion Power problem, possibly a line was cut (delivering only 1 phase to the house). He recommended calling Dominion. We did and the problem was on the Dominion lines. Dominion fixed it and we have power again.

He had to come out several times because of the complexity of landscape lighting. He was so wonderful and stayed in touch and on top of taking care of my needs. He even emailed me back and forth until everything was accurate. He went above and beyond, gave 110%, he holds a great Angie's List rating and I'll use him again. He was always on time or communicated well if he was running late and I really appreciated his notification about those times.

Staples was professional, on time, and efficient. The technician understood how to troubleshoot. He investigated all the possibilities, eliminated areas, ran additional tests and quickly focused on the root cause of the problem.
