Craig Staples and his assistant, Nelson, were professional, fast and very affordably priced. We had them working on an extremely run down, old house that had not been properly electrically wired for a very long time. The got to work quickly and were finished and everything is now working excellently.

The electrician came and was directed where to install the socket. He asked what its use would be (a humidifier), and went to work. When he finished there was a nice new outlet, and the humidifier had even been plugged in.

The experience was great. It was the owner. He was very professional. He gave me some advice about the electrical stuff when off the top I asked him a question. He came on time. He didn't take very long. He was great. They seemed competitive for the area. You get the hourly rates. Most people do a onetime fee and anything above and beyond you pay it by the hour. This fell within that service costing. I will probably call them in the next couple of months.

The job went well. The guys were efficient and clean. They cleaned up after themselves. Craig Staples came out himself to look at the work. They were very good and fair.

Excellent job, quickly done. Kept their mess to a minimum. Will definitely use them again.

Roberto and Nelson were great when they first came out. They were thorough when they check the electrical outlets for the lamp that has a will of its own. They not only checked the outlet the lamp was plugged in too, they also checked the other outlets in the room to ensure everything was okay. They then needed to hunt down a ballist for a kitchen light fixture that had gone bad. A little challenging since the fixture was 30 years old. Roberto returned with a new ballist and fixed our kitchen light (Nelson had been assigned to another job). We also had Roberto replace two 30 year old electrical smoke detectors with a smoke/carbon monoxide detector with battery backup. This last job was not why we originally contacted Staples Electric; however, in a conversation with Craig, he mentioned the need to replace smoke detectors every 10 years. Since we had recently had a severely over-cooked item in our microwave that filled the whole house with smoke and neither of our smoke detectors went off, it seemed like perfect timing to get them replaced. We thanked Craig for the comment and had them install the new detectors while they were out.

Staples Electric LLC showed up on time and quickly assessed the situation and my requirements. His crew was most professional in all respects and ran the lines and installed the wall jacks exactly to my specifications. They went out of the way to coordinate with Verizon (local phone company) to insure his interior line work married up with the new second line that Verizon brought into the main building utility room. He even had to come back again after Verizon failed to install the line to the point in the building we expected the first time. With all the time spent, he kept his price very reasonable, and the work was his usual excellence. I have used Craig Staple's company on several occasions now, and always find his work "top notch", both at my home and business. They are the best.

Craig was able to quickly troubleshoot the problem (non-functioning light fixture) to a faulty ballast. He obtained and installed the proper model ballast. As always, Staples Electric LLC did an excellent job at a reasonable price. Craig is my "go to" guy for all things electric.

Team doing the installations showed up on-time, were polite, and professional. They put plastic down over my cabinets before starting and left the works space clean upon completion.

The job was supposed to be a simple chandelier installation. I tried myself but the wiring was more complicated that I expected. I called Staples Electric and spoke to Craig Staples. He was kind enough to fit me in prior to the Holidays. Roberto came to my house and found that the bar used to support the chandelier would not work do to the truss structure. He could have said sorry I can't do this etc. But in the manner of a true professional he found a solution and was able to finish the installation much to our relief because we were not looking forward to having company for Christmas dinner with a hole in the ceiling. This is the second time Roberto has come to our house for electrical work and both times he was knowledgeable and professional.

They did a good job. They were quick, did good work, and cleaned up well after the job.

I looked up Craig Staples's company on Angie's List and called him around 9:00 PM on a week night. I was pleasantly surprised when he immediately answered. He was very professional and responsive through-out this job. When he gave us the estimate, he explained that the circuit breaker box did not need to be completely replaced, thereby saving us a lot of money. Craig also gave us very good advice about what needed to be done to bring all of the electrical components up to code. Craig's team was punctual on the scheduled date of the job and did high-quality work. They were thorough and quick as well. We feel that we got a very good value for the price.

It was great. Instead of simply going ahead with the work, he advised us to check with the county first. It turns out the item was unnecessary which saved us nearly $1000.00. He did great work on the ohter items as well.

My experience was excellent. Booking was easy, the tradesman arrived on schedule and was very professional. He answered all my questions relating to the installation. Put plastic sheets down to protect my bathroom services, installed the fixture, repaired the original fixture drywall and completed the job within an hour. I was very pleased with the experience and outcome and would use this service in the future.

I found them on Angie's List, and I would highly recommend them. If I needed any electrical work done I would call them first. They have competitive pricing, and they stand behind their work. If something goes wrong the owner will have someone out to fix it right away.

Mr Staples replied to my email within a couple of hours and was able to give me an appointment time for later the same afternoon. Great! Two technicians came on time and worked to complete items in a professional manner. Would use this company again!

Craig and his crew arrived promptly at 8 AM and Craig made a review of all the services to be performed. The crew started on the first install right away and I headed to work, confident with the communication. Plastic was laid in each room and although I expected more need to cut into the drywall and patch, Craig's crew found a way to do all the installations with minimal cutting. Craig did a quality check of the installs as I watched and was quick to adjust some of the fans that were loose. The work was very well done and I thought the final price was more than fair. I used Staples Electric for a small electrical issue when I first moved in two years ago and was hoping they wouldn't disappoint on a bigger job and am very happy with the results. I already have the next job planned and will not hesitate to call Craig and Staples Electric again.

I purchased a new electric stove on 11 November 2010 to replace the gas one located in our kitchen. Upon returning home I checked behind the gas stove and noted that the installed electrical outlet was not going to work for the stove we had purchased. I called and left a message for Craig the next day asking if we could come over to give me an estimate on Saturday. Although he was extremely busy he squeezed me in. He showed up on time and walked through the work that would have to be performed to add the additional electrical line, outlet and fuse. He quoted me a price of $535.00. The price was due to the length of the run of the electrical line as well as the perceived difficulty in running the line through the ceiling of our recently remodeled Basement (Drywall, paint and carpet). Craig explained the entire process; to include his estimate that his installers would likely have to make 4 to 5 holes in the drywall to feed the electrical wire through and that his installers would perform a rough patch of the holes but that it would be my responsibility to paint and do the finish work. I then asked Craig if he have his crew perform the work by the 16th of November (3 days later) because my wife was hosting a dinner party and needed the new stove functional. Craig said he would check and let me know. Craig was able to fit us in on the 16th. His crew showed up early (they did call to let us know that they were coming early). They had all of their tools and supplies, laid out plastic protective sheets in areas where they were working and walking. The team was phenomenal!!!!! When I explained to the crew that the basement had recently been remodeled they let me know they would try to minimize the number of holes in the drywall to accomodate running the electrical wire. And minimize they did, they were able to run the wire the length of the basement and only made one hole. This hole was "rough" patched and in my opinion their rough patch was as good as some of the finished drywall repair I have seen in other parts of my house. They cleaned everything up and afterwards you would never have known they were there. Craig showed up while the work was being completed by his crew and oversaw part of the work. He even jumped in at one point and lent his expertise as the electrical wire was being fed up from the basement through the kitchen floor. This is a team of true professionals, they are polite, repectful of your home and take great pride in their work and the finished product.

My wife and I contacted Craig after trying a few other folks who were recommended through other sources because we wanted a cable jack installed on one wall in our living room. Many other contractors felt that this was not enough work to warrant their time, but not Craig. Craig called us back quickly and scheduled a time when he could come out for an estimate. He was friendly and prompt. He arrived and walked through what he would have to do with our wall in order to install the jack. We agreed upon a ballpark price, to be adjusted upon initiation of th work as required. Craig's team was prompt, friendly, and very neat. Craig's team worked quickly to install the jack, which was done within an hour and a half from start to finish. Great job to Craig and his team. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone - he was a pleasure to work with.

The Staples' installers arrived on time, placed drop cloths over the entire work area, removed and replaced the ceiling fan down rod in a professional and immaculate manner. The price was right and I will use Staples for any electrical work in the future. Arnold Blair

Craig is very professional. He arrived with two workers and they were quick and thorough replacing more than 40 switches and receptacles from ivory to white. Installed more than 25 recessed lights in 5 areas. And they installed more than 15 new receptacles. So they did an amazing amount of work very quickly--a few days. They identified improper wiring done by the builder of the townhome and they fixed it.

Excellent service. They showed up on time, even a little early. Very friendly and helpful. Would definitely hire them for any other electrical work.

Staples Electric is very professional, courteous and capable company. The owner is always polite on the phone and is very responsive. He was on time to our appointments and got the work done in a timely, clean and efficient manner.
