Went okay. Only issue was the scheduling. It took a few times of reminders (emails) to confirm the appointments. Otherwise happy with the service.

We first tried to get a hold of this company for several estimates by filling out their online form. They never got back in touch with us. Then, we saw that they were running an Angie's List special for a whole house surge protector and a Level 1 safety check. They got in touch with us quickly to schedule an appointment. They installed the whole house surge protector and provided the Level 1 safety check which just consisted of the electrician checking each outlet (something that any home inspector does). We had several questions when they were doing a simple safety check. They seemed uninterested in getting us quotes on the additional electrical work we needed. The electrician took several notes on his iPAD, and they never got back in touch with us. We won't ever work with this company again and have already found a more reliable electrician that is interested in taking on work.

They were quick and efficient, friendly. The BEST experience I have had with an electrician. I would totally use them again, great experience!

The guys were very punctual and were extremely courteous and professional. They listened to everything I asked and did an exceptional job. I was a bit concerned about the holes they would have to put in the basement ceiling to run the new circuit because of the design on the ceiling (not popcorn) - they did an amazing job of of patching all holes. They were very neat and respectful, completed all the work in 1 day and I could not be any happier with the work that was performed. The price was reasonable and now I am thinking of any other projects that I have put off for too long that they could complete to make my life happier.

Arrived on time but did not have the bracket needed for the ceiling fan. Came back as scheduled and completed the job. No muss no fuss and no trip charge for the second visit.

Was on time and friendly. Electrician explained to me what had caused the problem and responsive to my questions.

The owner was very responsive regarding setting up an appointment. The tech. came on time and attempted to put on a new photo cell switch I provided. After several attempts he realized that the photo cell was not the low wattage I needed. He promptly went to the local Home Depot a few blocks away but they did not have the part. Contacted the owner and he advised he would order / find the part and return to put same on. I also discussed that I would have to pay for the return and I agreed. Meanwhile the tech. Checked my fuse box. On 6/26/13 since I had not heard from the company, I sent an email asking about the part and their return. I waited for a response and since i got none, finally ordered the part myself and put it on. I' m dissatisfied with the lack of follow up and repair. Also, his lack of consideration by not letting me know he dropped the ball. A phone call or answer to my email would have been appropriate. Something that started out very positive but unfortunately ended poorly.

The office was easy to work with as I had a few scheduling changes I had to make. Roberto was awesome, on time, very professional and knowledgeable. The work was done on time and looks great. I would highly recommend them in the future.

The electrician was always very nice. He came first to provide a free estimate and to make sure that the microwave would not require added work. The day of the actual work, the electrician worked efficiently and effectively. Overall, I am very happy with Staple's Electric

Fantastic from first email inquiry to job completion. Appointment for estimate scheduled in less than a week, estimate followed a couple of days later, and the job was completed about a week after that. The work took two visits because my condo requires a county permit and the inspector had to approve the wiring before the fixture could be installed. Staples was very accommodating about working me into their busy schedule without keeping me waiting, didn't charge more than the estimate despite the two trips, and everyone (owner, assistant in the office, both electricians) were very professional, friendly, and responsive. Exactly the excellent service we all want and too rarely receive!

UPDATE: I had difficulty scheduling the appt. at first. There was a lot of back and forth and bad communication from the scheduler. After the 2nd cancellation I wrote a bad review here. Craig called up and thanked me for bringing the situation to his attention and said he had changed internal policies to make sure that didn't happen again. We then scheduled the appt. for today and the electrician showed up right on time and rapidly got to work. During the service call, I got the same great treatment I received by them last year. So glad the owner took the time to personally address and remedy the problem. I will do business again with them. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________ Original Review: I received horrible customer service from Staples Electric. This was shocking since I am a repeat customer and posted a rave review here in October. July 8th--contacted Staples to come switch out old and yellowed outlets and light switches. A small job which I estimated would take about 1 1/2 hours. July 9th--received quote via email. July 10th--I felt the quote was reasonable and asked for it to be set up asap, my availability was wide open July 11th--was told by Shannon that 15th would be earliest available. I was going out of town so I told them I would contact them via email to set up the week of July 22nd. She responded that would be fine, but to give a "few days" notice. July 19th--emailed requesting July 23rd. I received no email/phone call response to this until the morning of the 23rd when she called to say they wouldn't be coming because they were too busy. I guess a few days meant more than the 4 days notice I gave. And why couldn't I get an immediate response so that I could schedule for another day? I called again (I know, why keep trying? But it was because I had such good service before and am a very patient woman) to schedule for August 5th now. That was canceled on the 5th and asked if it can be rescheduled for the 8th. I said sure I had the morning open but could they come around 9 instead of 8 since the baby didn't wake up until then. She said that was highly unusual for them to not have an 8-11 time slot and that she would have to ask Craig if they could accommodate that request. I said, "Sure, but let him know I have been waiting patiently for a month to get this small, quick job done when you do talk to him". I never received a call back and of course this morning they didn't show up.

The electrician said he could not install the other 2 overhead lights and the fan.

Professional and did exactly what was asked.

Everything went smoothly and quickly. The electrician was professional and helpful, and everything that needed repair was fixed. I would be happy to use Staples in the future for bigger projects.

It was an Angie's list Big Deal that I purchased. I'd like to get a refund for it. We contacted them and they said several of the items that we requested to do around the house were not included in the deal. When I checked the description, it looks like it would have been restricted based on my reading of the description. It was specified that they won't work on anything that's currently in process or existing issues. The process of trying to use the service was difficult. The owner was very cooperative and willing to come out and try to adjust the deal to fit some of the work that we needed; however, it just seems like the scope of the work that he's requesting is just more expensive than what we had planned and what we thought it should be. The gentleman seems nice and competent.

The technician showed up on time and identified the problem. Great Service!! I was so expressed that I requested an estimate to have an outlet installed in the ceiling of my garage for the garage door opener and the cost to have a cable outlet installed in a bedroom. Craig quoted me a very reasonable price almost half of a quote I receivced from a larger company. The installation of the electrical outlet and cable outlet went smooth. I am very pleased with the work. In the future I will use Staples for all of my electrical work. Great Company! You cannot go wrong using this Company!

The technician arrived on time and provided very good service. He was very detailed about what he was doing and explained any problems that arose while fixing them on the spot. The technician was very professional, punctual, courteous, and detailed in his work. He informed me that he would have to return the complete the work once the cabinets were installed. I would recommend Staples Electric to anyone wishing to have some electrical work done. I was very pleased and would definitely use them in the future.

We had an electrical issue in our new home that we caught on a Sunday. We called around to several electricians who listed Sunday service. Staples was the first to call back (the others did not call back until hours later). Iggy arrived within an hour, and finished the work quickly. He was prompt, pleasant and professional.

The company rep called back promptly, was very helpful and scheduled the work at a convenient time for me. She clearly noted that I would be paying for a full hour but that the work would likely not take that much time, so she encouraged me to have the electrician check any other areas of concern to fill out the time I was paying for. The electrician arrived right on time, wearing the company t-shirt, and got right to work. He found the problem, replaced the broken exterior switch, and caulked around it so that moisture would not foul the new doorbell as it had the last one. I had a new doorbell kit on hand, from which he used only the parts needed. Very pleasant, efficient and professional worker. This was a small job but I would trust Staples LLC with a larger job in the future if needed.

I call Staples and 2 other electricians. Mr. Staples called back. They came out and found half of our electric circuits out. The fuse box was half filled with water. The electrician told us not to touch the fuse box. Mr. Staples called me with the estimate for the work done which seemed reasonable to me. The electrician came out and corrected the problem. Happily we are connected to our electricity again.

Staples contacted me after I bought a voucher on Angie's List. They told me the type of work that the voucher covered. They ask me to provide pictures of the work to be done which I did. They showed up on time. They quickly completed the 3 projects to my specifications. I will look for them in the future for electrical needs.
