I purchased a demo light fixture from home depot and it was missing parts. The installers went to home depot to buy the right parts for this light and had it hung in a very short amount of time. They were very clean, put down plastic and wrapped their ladders in protective material in order to not scar the walls. They do excellent work and were very nice and friendly guys.

Roberto arrived on time. Very personable. He and aide installed wall mount for large TV and put the set up on the mount. Hookup for the TV was relatively straight forward-attach cables from originating control panel into house basement. Cables followed unrestricted path along main girder to point where hole was made to feed cables to rooms above. Cables were then fed up through wall (between studs) to service two rooms. Roberto left after installation leaving assistant to set up TV. I don't believe he knew how and advised me to contact Verizon (my provider) to arrange for setup. I expected a complete installation and setup. Plus, necessary cables to attach to TV and devices were not supplied. I happened to have a few available which we used. Roberto did not set up second set but provided instructions on which cables to detach before I moved the set to its new position. Overall the event went ok but could and should have been better: Necessary cables should have been available. Set up of new TV should have been completed. Move of second set to new location would have been considerate.

Craig came for an initial estimate last fall. He was very thorough in describing what each of my projects. His estimate was detailed. I received prompt (and thorough and coherent) replies to every communication. My work schedule is somewhat flexible, so scheduling was very simple. The crew spent two days at my home. I felt that they worked efficiently. Every interaction each crew member was cordial and they enthusiastically and thoroughly answered ALL of my questions. Given the above, I felt that I received excellent value from Staples electric. Most importantly, my wife is pleased with the work and the process.

We recently purchased a home that was previously foreclosed upon and had been vacant for over a year. The home was in need of several repairs some of which included the complete replacement of the electrical panel and service from the utility meter and other items described above. We obtained a proposal from a large local firm for this work and their price was outrageous. We then obtained another proposal from Staples Electric LLC and their price was very reasonable so we decided to hire them...and we definitely made the right decision. Staples Electric was OUTSTANDING!!! Craig Staples and his company are the definition of everything that can be good about small businesses. They quoted us a price and executed the work for the quoted price within our time constraints despite having to adjust to other work we were doing in the house. Craig handled all of the details personally and with the utmost professionalism. He also worked with us to add a few additional last minute items that were not included in the initial agreement. I have been in the commercial construction management industry for over 14 years and encounter contractors every day so my standards are very high. Staples Electric LLC are one of the best I have ever encountered and I would recommend them to anyone.

Repaired all wall damage when needing to make openings for running the wire in the wall. Very professional and very pleased with the results... highly recommended!

The guys who came out to do the work were great. They came in expecting to do a job that would only take 4 to 6 hours in single digit weather. Unfortunately, they discovered that our grounding wire was connected to the neighbor's grounding wire. Each house is supposed to have its own grounding wire. They said they've never seen anything like that before. It ended up taking around 9 hours for them to complete the job. They had a really rough day with all the digging. But, they still did a great job without any complaints. Once the electricity was turned back on, we were able to make them some hot chocolate.

Staples is simply the best! We got quotes from 4 different contractors (that we found on Angie's List) prior to going with Craig's team. Best decision we could've made! Grant, our electrician, showed up on time and was friendly and professional. He explained what he was doing and answered a multitude of questions I had. He did a great job, and that's saying a lot given our home is older and the walls aren't exactly level or straight. We even called them back a second time as our general contractor damaged another outlet while doing the kitchen rehab. Grant was there first thing in the morning after my call and fixed everything within 20 minutes. We would definitely recommend Craig and his team to anyone needing electrical work done. Left two voicemails last week asking if they would be able to install a new light fixture in our two story foyer. In both messages I requested a callback even if it was something they couldn't do, but they never called. Business must be so great that they don't have two minutes to return a message. Found another company on Angies List that came out today to do the job and this other company will now have all of our business in the future.

Arrived on time; completed work in short order and did ceiling repair on holes. Very neat and responsive to owner concerns about placement of lights. Price was quite good in comparison to several other estimates, and it covered the ceiling repair which the others did not.

Staples Electric installed a household surge protector and conducted an assessment of the electrical wiring in my home. The rep. was prompt, knowledgeable, and very thorough. I will call Staples again if I need additional work and would recommend them to others.

The technician was very thorough during the appointment. He was also able to get us a special angies list rate, which I liked. Scheduling went well and they showed up when they said they would. They were able to come out to the home in about 2 days of me calling.

Mr. Staples came to my house right on time for the initial estimate. He was very professional, answered all of my questions, and was fun to work with. He gave me some very helpful suggestions for how to proceed. The electricians showed up on time and got right to work. From the very beginning, you could tell that this company really cares about what it does. They were very respectful of my home and listened to all of my requests. When any challenges arose, the electricians found me and worked with me to create a new plan. This company took the time to explore my entire house in order to create as few holes as possible. Within two days, all of the work was completed perfectly. Mr. Staples stopped by the second day to make sure I was happy and everything was on track. They even patched up all of the holes in the walls. There is no doubt in my mind that they will be the first company I call for future electrical needs.

There was a lot of work involved with lots of parts. Both Igor and Grant wasted no time and were very professional. They were very methodical and neat in organizing the work.

The entire job was completed in just a few hours. The electrician was polite and professional. The completed work was excellent and should solve the problem. I was very pleased with the quality of the work as well as the professionalism of the electrician. When I had called the office to inquire about a possible mistake on the invoice, I had to suddenly hang up after the phone had rung a couple of times. About ten minutes later, Mr. Staples had noticed that I had called and even though I didn't leave a message, he returned my call to make sure everything was all right. It turned out that there was a minor error on the invoice which Mr. Staples promptly and honestly corrected. Based on my experience, this is an honest business owned and operated by good, professional people.

Excellent job, took care of both issues I had. Plus noticed that electrical panel grounds were not correctly placed and since he had a little time left took care of that as well !!

It was great. The tech, Roberto was professional and courteous. They called prior to the appointment to let me know he was coming, and he was quick with the work. He knew exactly what he was doing.

They came out and fixed the problem. I also asked them to take a look at the fuse box because the lights would dim when the microwave was on. They discovered that the contractor who updated our kitchen did some creative wiring that wasnt to code. In the process they also discovered that the lighting under out cabinets was also done improperly and was a major fire hazard. They basically found a pile of wires that were all taped together and sitting on the top of the kitchen cabinets. The owner of the company came out to give me an estimate and one of his employees came and did the work. I was a little worried at first but he did an excellent job. He kept me informed about what he found and gave regular updates to the owner. While he was at the house I had to leave because of a work emergency and left him alone him alone in the house. No problems. They came back a few days later to fix one of the problems they discovered and I just let him in and went back to work. These guys did an excellent job. I liked them better than the other companies I got estimates from. I trusted them alone in my house with my dogs. If they are busy its worth the wait.

Staples comes through again. Craig and his team are the best. Iggy came out and realized this project was bigger than expected due to code issues throughout the basement from previous owners. We reviewed all that need to be done and Iggy got to work. He worked diligently for hours and called me down with questions and to show me his progress. We even added on more project in the end and he was happy to assist. In addition to the great work, the price was right on.

I've used Staples Electric before and recommend them above all others for their exceptional service, quality of work and fair pricing. This project was to setup a backup generator for the house. Craig Staples helped me sort through the many options, select the system that best met our needs and then finished all the electrical work. I found the owner and staff of Staples Electric to be the embodiment of what one should expect when hiring and outside contractor. Everyone with whom I spoke, was courteous, professional, and took the time to explain the work being performed. After the first service, the owner even called to follow-up and see if we had any questions. We had a few relatively minor electrical jobs done, such as running a new microwave cable, fixing double tapped breakers, and installing GFIs. We saw two electricians over the course of two visits, both of whom explained the work as they went when we had questions. A price estimate was provided up front factoring in a fixed hourly rate ($105) and materials. Communication was prompt, and easy. I had no problem getting in touch with them. If there was room for improvement, it would be promptness. I'd absolutely call them again.

I had a lot of work done by Staples over the course of several weeks for a house remodeling project. They upgraded my circuit breaker panel, which was overloaded and very old, and replaced everything with brand new (and safer) equipment. I had several electrical outlets that needed to be moved on installed for a kitchen remodeled. Then I needed new coax cable brought into the house and new outlets installed for my TVs. Craig's crew works quickly, they are friendly and they are professional. I was in frequent contact with Craig due to the amount of work I needed done and he always responded within a day and sometimes within a few minutes. All my future electrical work will be done by Staples Electric.

A lot of what I was doing was non-standard. I was designing for an unusual interior and exterior home modification. Craig Staples took in my ideas and helped design a way to achieve them. As the project developed, I kept getting new ideas. I must have sent him a dozen change orders, and he took them all in stride. Sometimes, he would offer suggestions for a more effective change than the one I had in mind. You would almost never know they put any holes in the walls. They were as small as possible and the piece of drywall was plugged back in nicely. It was easy to spackle and paint. His crew clearly knew what they were doing; they worked with confidence and efficiency. Craig was friendly, responsible, came through on all his promises, and at the end I have a confidence everything is just as it should be. He made sure the decisions I made would be something I was happy with down the road. He explained everything to me that I would need to make good decisions and to understand how to use everything after he was gone. I can?t recommend him highly enough!

They showed up promptly, and worked efficiently. I was not sure they would get to everything on my list in my two hour coupon, but they finished early and asked if I needed anything else done.
