We have used Staples before and had nothing but positive feedback for the professionalism of Craig, the owner and the gentlemen who work for him. This time, we had scheduled an appointment for Wednesday to have some outlets and switches replaced prior to renovations taking place later in the week. Due to some miscommunication, my appointment was cancelled Tuesday evening and I was offered a reschedule for Friday. Since we were having construction, painting and plumbing taking place Thursday and Friday, I explained to the woman scheduling that I needed someone to do the electrical on Wednesday. Unfortunately, she said they did not have anyone available. The next morning, I received a call from Craig, apologizing for the confusion, which I found to be extremely professional and considerate, and offering to send someone over later in the day to complete the work. Izzy showed up when they said he would and he was professional, courteous and personable. He did the work efficiently and effectively and we would welcome him back again. While I was disappointed with the way my cancellation was handled, Craig is a stand up gentleman who went out of his way to make the situation right and I would continue to highly recommend him and his company for all your electrical needs.

Craig Staples did the estimate himself, and came back when his workers actually performed the work. He gave me better than specified line (higher gauge) as it was left over from another job site, and his workers did great work. They cleaned up after, and even patched the wall in the garage after the installation. Now I have a 50-amp breaker for my car charger and it works beautifully. He recommended/installed the whole-house surge protector, with the explanation that it would help protect the car that's being charged on the new circuit, as well as appliances, etc., which don't plug in to a simple plug-in surge suppressor. I highly recommend his work-they have good experience with the electric car hookups, and he made it trouble-free.

The workers of Staples Electric showed up on time for our install. They kept me in the loop as to what was happening, and asked me for input when certain install decisions had to be made. The installers were very friendly and courteous. The work was completed in 1.5 days on budget. I would recommend them to anyone who needs electrical work done, and I plan to use them in the future for my home electrical needs.

Setting up the initial estimate appointment and scheduling the work was easy with prompt replies to my email. The electrician showed up as scheduled and was very professional. In terms of electrical work, he is very skilled, works hard, and is very professional. He’ll actually do the rough drywall work as well if he does work that requires it. However, scheduling can be difficult, so for those that need electrical work urgently I would recommend lots of lead time. It seems he is very busy in terms of scheduling.

It went great. Mr. staples was by far the most knowledgeable on EVSE installs. He was doing a demo for Schnieder the day before. Craig was also very good at articulating why we needed to do some items and not others. His technician arrived on time and completed the work as advertised. I will definitely use Staples for any future electrical needs.

After Mr. Staples came and gave me a estimate my expectations for the work were very high. At the end of the installations they were exceeded by every aspect of the service. The cost was fair and the work was professional.

That turned out fine. They did find some items that needed repaired. They were very thorough.

I had an old, failing florescent light fixture in our basement. Since the house was up for sale I wanted to make sure it was replaced. I also requested a safety check of all outlets in the basement. The technician arrived at the agreed upon time and quickly replace the light fixture. He also conducted the safety check and found (and fixed) a few incorrectly wired outlets. He was very professional and courteous. He also pointed that some recessed lights in the shower were not up to code, and wouldn't have passed inspection. He explained that it was an fairly easy task to do and one that I could handle myself, so I did. I would use these guys again.

Excellent . Thoroughly inspected my electrical system seeking the cause for a dead outlet. In the end it was a simple fix. Great job. very knowledgeable.

I contacted Staples Electric via email and coordinated a date/time window to have a ceiling fan installed. Staples was very accommodating and I was able to schedule an appointment within a week of emailing them. I work nights, so didn't want something very early and was able to get an appointment around noon, and would ultimately be dependent on how quick the technician completed the earlier jobs. Staples gave me a courtesy call about 30 minutes prior to arriving and I had the fan unpacked and the blades assembled to speed up the install. The technician was great. He knew what he was doing and was very pleasant to work with. He layed a layer of plastic over my carpet before starting the project, which I appreciated to catch any debris from the ceiling fan rough-in. The install went quicker than expected with no issues and he was done in approximately 30 minutes. Overall a great experience and would definitely use Staples Electric again for any electrical work.

That was the best experience I've ever had with an electrician. We are in the middle of a move, so I had very few days in town. I called Staples Electric one afternoon and had them at my house at 6:30am the following morning to scope the project. I arranged to have them perform the work while I was out of town. They coordinated directly with another service provider to gain access to the house and called promptly when they finished their work to have the house locked up. They made the necessary modifications to the house with minimal invasiveness and cleaned up perfectly afterward, including nice patchwork on the walls. "Plug and chug", as Craig Staples (proprieter) likes to say. It was simple, prompt, efficient, well-coordinated and reasonably priced. Thanks Craig!

The office called to let me know that he would be arriving in a half an hour. He was right on schedule, they did not keep me waiting. He was courteous, friendly, and professional. I was very pleased with this company, and will definitely use them again.

Fantastic. Craig, the owner, came quickly for the estimate, provided the estimate within a couple of days, and scheduled the work promptly. In fact, he had to reschedule for my convenience, and also had to accomodate a county inspection between two visits to complete the work. Both electricians (different guys on the two days) were great, prompt, professional and friendly. Very thorough as far as putting down plastic to protect furniture and brand new white carpeting. Great cleanup. Absolutely nothing could have been better. This was my second time using Staples Electric, same perfect experience both times.

We had purchased the deal last year. Since Staples did have a wait, due to the popularity of the offer, we were ok to call at a later date tto schedule work, as there was no urgency. We actually forgot all about it until just a few weeks ago. We asked Staples if they would still honor the discounted service and they were quick to say they would. Not even 40 minutes later, an electrician was at our home and working away. Execellent all around. We were very pleased and will call Staples again. 'Iggy' is the guy we will ask for - he was great!

Was on time and in fact a few minutes early.

I had originally scheduled the appointment between 1-3 pm but because I was working the night shift that week I overslept and called the company about 2 pm afraid I missed the appointment. They informed me they had called my husband earlier and rescheduled it for later in the day. My husband says he did not know when I had scheduled it so he told them to come when they said. Never the less, the electrician arrived some time in the afternoon when I was home and awake. The company subsequently told me they do not schedule afternoon appointments but keep them on a rolling basis depending on the technicians schedule. Would have been nice if they told me that up front. Anyway, our problem is flickering lights on one circuit. The electrician said he found the circuit near capacity but nothing else wrong. He suggested splitting the circuit for which he would have the company send us an estimate on line. I paid with a check and was told I would receive an email receipt. After days of waiting I received neither an estimate or receipt. After 3 emails to the company I received both with apologies for " internet difficulties". During this time my husband and I contemplated the electricians analysis. It did not make sense to us as we had nothing major running on the circuit so I called the owner of the company and discussed it with him. He agreed the analysis might be incorrect but kept insisting we "split the circuit" before any other action was taken even over the course of our interaction lasting days to at least a week, I thought I gave him ample information, observations, etc. which would indicate that splitting the circuit would not solve our problem but would incur great cost with multiple holes in walls and subsequent repair. This all involved multiple emails which at times were not answered, then subsequent phone calls to get a response, etc. No real discussion with me or explanation. I feel the company just wanted to get a job they could bill for without actually addressing my problem. I cannot recommend them.

They responded promptly to schedule the appointment but I did not need the service any longer.
