They went extra mile and did great job for our home !!!

Hunter provided an estimate and explained in detail what needed to be done, how many workers needed and how long the job would take. Mario and Henry arrived on time and working from 9 am until after 6 pm. They protected the cabinets and kitchen floor before starting. They answered our questions. They left the work area clean. The only way you could tell they had been there was the counter tops look like new.

They did a wonderful job. I called them and they asked me to send them some pictures. The men worked 13 hours and they went above and beyond what was necessary. The slate looks gorgeous now. They told us how to take care of it. At one point I thought that they were going to have to jack hammer it out and put new slate down. That was not necessary and I would highly recommend them. I thought that the price was fair. They got here at 8 in the morning and did not leave until almost 9 pm. They did not take to many breaks and did not break for lunch or dinner. They were efficient and did not waste anytime. They said that anything over 10 hours was going to be free. It did not bother them to go over the time. They were hard workers and they did not cut in any corners. They come out yearly and do the sealing. I will continue to use them.

Once they did the service, it went fairly well. The issue was the communication. Also, the day they were first scheduled to do the service, they texted about 15 to 30 minutes after they were supposed to be there to let me know that they were not coming because of a problem with the van. The owner was out of town and said he couldn't get cell service (but he was able to text). We eventually rescheduled. The service itself was good (but a little pricey).

The estimator and part owner Hunter arrived as scheduled. He gave me several options with prices and his opinion of their effectiveness. He followed this up with a written estimate and scheduling options. I requested a certificate of insurance which was promptly sent to me. On the chosen day his men arrived on time and ready to work. They were respectful of the surrounding furnishings and spent time covering openings, floors, and furniture that were in any danger. They worked steadily and quietly. I think the job was more difficult than imagined but they stayed until almost 9:00 PM to get it finished. They cleaned up well and left the area as they had found it. The work was beautiful, I will definitely use them again.

Rose Restoration polished up the old marble floors in our foyer and powder room. They had two people here for a day doing the work. They protected the walls and adjacent finishes and did an excellent job cleaning up after themselves. The results are even better than we expected. The floors look even better than they did when they were installed. Based on our experience I would strongly recommend Rose Restoration. They were excellent.

They were incredible. We put in a new kitchen and the fabricator was supposed to hone our marble for our huge island (9' x 4'). When they came to install it, it was a streaky, spotty mess. They came back and tried to fix it but it didn't help - they actually left an indentation in the marble. The fabricators then took the marble off the island and took it back to their shop. When they came back with it - it was still awful. I found Rose and they were the right people for the job. They know marble and if they can't fix it no one can. The fabricator agreed to pay Rose for their services. They came in and spent a day on it and it was perfect. I look at my island and smile everyday! Thanks Rose Restoration!!!

It is a stainless sink set in a black granite counter. The men added support under sink to secure it and cleaned and sealed it with black adhesive to match the black granite. It is now firmly supported and the sealing looks great. I am very pleased with the work done.

It worked out very well. They're small family owned running business and I'm very happy with the results.

Our front foyer is rather large and the travertine had been damaged from our dog who was sick for many years. We called Rose and Hunter came out and gave a written estimate of how long each room would take. When we scheduled he had 3 people( who were very maticulous and caring about their work) come out. They were working all day for 4 days. The house looks great. We are very pleased!

Hunter was very responsive to my request to get the work done as quickly as possible. He really worked with my husband and I to find a date that would work with our busy schedules. The workers from Rose are very good at what they do, especially Luis. We are extremely pleased with the work done by Rose Restoration and definitely recommend them to anyone needing marble work done.

Terrific job. If I knew my floors could have been transformed this way, I would have done it sooner. Hunter was very responsive and his team worked very hard.

The workman was running late but called to let me know. He was very apologetic and I appreciated the phone call. He took great care in prepping -- he was meticulous in taping paper to the exposed cabinets and baseboards. The job took all day but our floors look great -- the grout is absolutely clean and the marble polished beautifully. The repair to the cracked tiles was done great -- far better than what the previous company did for us. We are very pleased and will use them again.

I called the company in early December and leaving a message on the phone was the only option. The choices to leave a message were a bit confusing. After leaving a couple of messages f over about 3 days, I did not get a response but finally was able to get a "live person", although it was not the person I needed to speak with about a potential job. He did though get the message to the right person and I did get a call back that afternoon. After that, the responses and communication about my project was fine. After sending e-mail pictures of my project I received an estimate and we agreed on a date for the work. They called the day before the scheduled appt. and asked to reschedule because the project the technician was working on ran longer than expected. That was fine with me and we could easily accomodate a change in plans for a few days later. I should note that although the company says they serve Maryland they did want to add an additional travel charge ( I live outside of Baltimore). We negotiated a charge, but then they waived the charge after they had to reschedule the appointment. I can understand the need for travel charges, but perhaps that should be stated as they define their service area. On the day of the appointment the technician came later than I had been told, by a couple of hours but fortunately it was not a problem to work with as I did not expect to go out for the day. The weather also was not great that day. He did the seam and granite repair. The seam repair is a bit off color in part because he matched the filler to the back part of the granite color and pattern and it is a bit lighter in the front. It is okay but not the best match throughout. The grout repair in the bathroom went fine as requested. I purchased the grout as requested prior to their coming to do the work. They did leave some used buckets behind, probably by accident and did tend to use my excess household items - tissue paper, papertowels etc. as they worked. The worker and his helper were polite but the whole experience from initial contact to conclusion could have been more professional.

.It well very well. One staff person in particular was even able to replace broken tiles to the point that they matched which was no small feat as they came from different die lots and ten years apart! I would highly recommend them to any one who has marble/tile/limestone that needs to be cleaned and restored.

In building our new house, we paid special attention to our walk-out basement which we hoped to be the hub of activity for our 5 teenage and younger children and their friends. Our requirement was that Rose take our 2000 square foot concrete foundation floor and transform it into a shinny, smooth and reflective floor using only the aggregate and stones that were poured with the concrete. They surpassed our most optimistic expectations and left us with a product that is jaw-dropping to everyone who has seen it. Using only the poured concrete, resident aggregate and NO colors or dyes, they turned a concrete floor into a piece of terrazzo that reflects and moves the natural and overhead light around in the entire basement. The grinding process removed the top layer of concrete and revealed the stone and other materials in the concrete creating a random pattern of beautifully polished stone in our floor. The process took five days. Their preparation, execution and daily clean-up was impressive. Without proper attention to cleanliness, preparation and clean-up this can be a messy undertaking, but at the end of each day, they left our basement tidy, their equipment clean, and provided me a status of where the project stood at the end of the day and what I should expect the next day. In the end, they exceeded our expectations and I would not hesitate to use them again and extend my strongest recommendation to anyone considering this for new and existing homes.

First: No other company wanted to touch this job since the job was not near Leesburg and working on terracotta is difficult. The company's VP himself came the very week we called to look at the task and give us a bid.Second: They did not charge for travel time, which was considerable (1/2 hour from Leesburg)Third: Although the first application of sealer didn't work on the entire floor, I was impressed that Rose Restoration's staff stood behind their work and re-did the challenging area until it was right.

Rose Restoration gave a reasonable price and in looking at my floor said they could get it back to looking like a new floor. It took two guys, 9 1/2 hours, one day. They were very good at protecting the new painted walls and the new appliances. They worked hard and I couldn't believe how clean the grout looked and how shiny the marble was at the end of the day after the marble was sealed. My floor looks amazing and Rose Restoration did a great job. I would highly recommend them.

It was fine; I just found a better price and availability with other company. The professionalism was fine, I found a better quote.

Rose Restoration's crew led by Jose did an outstanding job. They arrived a bit early and immediately without asking took their shoes off at the door. They put down plastic sheeting to protect the hardwood floors outside the bathroom. The worked quietly and efficiently; asked questions to clarify where needed and explained what and why they were doing what they were doing when asked. They left the area leading into the bathroom as clean as when they arrived. The floor, shower/tub tile surround, and vanity all look great. Well worth the $65/hr we paid to get all of this done!

The work went very well. The crew arrived on time and worked steadily thru the day, and were very good about not letting the water etc get outside the right areas -- and they were working in an area adjacent to hardwood floors thru 3 different doorways, and carpet thru 1. It took a fair amount of doing to get the foyer back to 'shiny' again - but they did it, it turned out great, and was definitely easier to live with than 'remove and replace', which another contractor told us would involve tons of dust and lots of time, due to the marble being set in mud. The large buffing machine they used did hit and mark up the baseboards a few times (the shoe moulding actually), but i don't think anyone could avoid that - it is just the nature of the beast. There was a small place in 1 corner of the foyer that didn't get done as shiny, possibly because they needed to do that by hand when the large buffer and the small hand hand buffer also couldn't fit in there... I mentioned these items to the sales rep after the job, when he asked for feedback, but he didn't respond with any offers to make it all 'perfect',. Ok, so not an 'A++', but still an 'A' rating here from me though, as they did do a very good job, right on schedule. ------UPDATE A Rose tech came back & spent several hours working the areas around the edges that weren't so shiny -- so the foyer marble looks great throughout now, and there are no dull spots in corners etc to catch your eye... overall, really terrific! A great alternative to 'remove & replace'!

The crew arrived punctually at 8:00am. The started right away and took notice of a ledge that would have to be done completely by hand. This was hard work, being on their knees most of the 13 hours. The were efficient, never stopping for small talk or extra breaks but only for lunch I was able to go appointments noticing how hard they were working and satisfied that I could trust them in the house alone. They took so much extra care with tapping my closet doors with plastic and tapping my wood floors that never got any stains that might have come with the work. The floors look fantastic and I will never be embarrassed again to have someone come into my home. I recommend Rose Restoration highly. I will never replace or polish this floor again. Matter of fact, they taught me how to clean the floors too! High on my list recommends. Thank you Rose Restoration for giving me back my beautiful slate floors!
